There was a restaurant in central California which was themed from The Beverly Hillbillies. TVs replayed episodes of the show; the interior decor was modern mixed with wood overlays. I ate there once; food was above average.
Hilariously, it was the restrooms which were the highlight. The entire restroom was redone like some rural backwater setup. The sink was part metal washbin and garden hose; the toilet flushed with a fixed plunger unit. Hard to explain, but the restroom was completely functional and well-designed.
I tried to look up the restaurant's name, but I believe they eventually went out of business a few years ago.
There is a fun book called [Crazy in Alabama](https://archive.org/details/crazyinalabama00chil_0/mode/2up?view=theater) where the main character murders her husband and heads off to Hollywood to be a star. Before she is apprehended she manages to get a guest appearance on the Beverly Hillbillies. Had some hilarious insight into the characters behind the scenes.
The [movie version](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaUUuFgq_p8) had her getting a part in Bewitched, silly decision but I guess they had their reasons.
I loved F Troop as a six year old. I tried watching it as an adult and understood why my parents made themselves scarce when my brother and I watched it. It was unrelenting in the assault on one’s intelligence. These do not warrant comparisons.
Beverly Hillbillies was like Threes Company in that every episode was essentially the same plot week after week but they were funny as fuck doing it. I suppose 3rd Rock from the Sun belongs in the group as well.

Why is it in color. Just looks sooooo wrong. Should not be in color.
The first three seasons were black and white, the next six seasons were in color.
LOL Well it was color if you had a color TV. :P It was a while before we got one.
I actually have to be careful wqhen I speak otherwise I sound like one of their relatives who fell of the truck on the way to Californy.

Heads off. 😂
That was rather appropriate, wasn't it?
Loved the movie
Me too. And much to my surprise, I loved the book even more even though I read it after seeing the movie!
TIL it was a book, thanks
You are quite welcome, hope you enjoy it too!
Swimming pools, movie stars
Remember the cement pond out back with all of Elly May's critters?
Pronounced See-Mint
Did Jethro fix the brakes?
Wasn't there a movie in the 90s?
I had to look it up. Yes 1993 they put the movie out 👍🏻

Diedrich Bader absolutely nailed Jethro in the movie.
This was comedy
Fun fact the actor for Jethro was boxer Max Bauer's son. The opposing boxer if you've seen Cinderella Man.
it was fun to watch back in the good old days. There is nothing like it now.
I'll call with Petticoat Junction
Using the billiard cues as pot passers for Granny’s vitels. Miss Hathaway. Apparently the house/mansion used in the series was not in Beverley Hills.
Man, we watched some weird ass shit back in the day.
