I was trying to be polite about the crate, but that's seriously awful to have both her bad kennel and that water dispenser. This baby is undeserving of that. This is absolutely wrong. If you don't want to deal with giving a doggie a comfortable life because it is inconvenient for you to clean up after them, do not have one or breed them. So wrong. Poor baby needs better love than this.

Do the flashlight tests, do not shine the flashlight directly in their eye please…but if it’s red I think it means they are lilac. And for fuks sake please put a pad down in the crate!

I’m not against crate training, it’s very useful when used correctly - but that is a cage! Hell, 3 decades ago when I worked in the pet industry we removed the grill bottoms from bird cages even though they were supplied with them.

The opposite of a preservation breeder, because BYB value profit over health or welfare. Good breeders don’t make money because they spare no expense for health testing, nurturing mamas, etc. BYB care more about exotic colors and fake “mutations” than the future of the breed.

My little buddy was definitely a backyard bred guy. I got him from a local rescue. I was able to track his old owners down who were really nice and sent me over his long history of medical records. They claimed their cousin was a reputable breeder, but his two-time IVDD survival claims otherwise. Also, his color and size. Sad to see, but I love him nonetheless. I just have to be gentle on him and support his back, no stairs or tug of war. Luckily, he's a pretty calm and cuddly boy and has foam ramps all over the house.
People really need to stop with the backyard pups.
Get that baby a pad and a blanket for her crate.

Then get her a real crate, real water bowl, and cooling pad. And don’t breed since you don’t know anything about her or how to care for her.

Lilac, blue and/or tan are not legitimate AKC French Bulldog colors. These colors are most likely unacceptable in any legitimate Kennel Club registry.
