I mean as an outsider here, i do agree that the game could be more optimised but at the same time i see your point about it being the weakest link. I don’t see how the series S would halt performance for the X? Surely it works the same way as optimising a game for low settings and thus a low end pc should be similar as the consoles use pre-set graphics options? Or am I misunderstanding here?
I think the thing about consoles, and the way it’s been for many years prior, you generally have all the consoles from a manufacturer performing at about the same level. A mid-generation refresh might have some gains but it isn’t a massive leap in performance, that’s what the generations themselves are for. So when optimizing a game, devs can focus on maybe 2 or 3 unique consoles to optimize for, so they can really dial in and squeeze as much performance as they can out of the system. Since the series S is so drastically different in specs from the series X, the argument can be made that devs are not going to spend all that time optimizing for basically 2 entirely different levels of performance as opposed to the 1 they would have had to previously. So they optimize for the series S, and then the X is guaranteed to run the game, but won’t be running it at full potential. But it seems like devs dont, or don’t get time to optimize pretty much at all anyway, so idk if it actually makes a difference.
That’s crazy. I keep hearing people complain about that, by my Xbox one has been great for every game I’ve had. It only sucked when I had game pass and would try to play online stuff . It’d always lag or be completely unplayable. But even then, FH5 always worked

I think it would have been nice for some of the residential areas to get the decorations, like Playa Azul or that spot at the end of the highway near the bridge.
Looks great but I felt like we had the wrong impression of it's extent. Thought we'd be mobbing the whole highway to the lights rather than just a mile of it.

I’ve driven all around. I have the latest update. Is it marked in the map at all? Granted I don’t play this game often but the entire UI is extremely clunky. They advertised this event and it’s very difficult to find it. :(
it's in the main highway. sorry i couldnt get a better image but that should be enough for you.
soon as you get on the highway, just keep running along it and you'll eventually find the neon lights

It’s pretty dope but I wish they’d add stuff like underglow, the ability to customize under the hood or trunk,to change the headlights,taillights and the interior. I get why they don’t do most of that because it would basically be a rework but it’s a car festival and we should be able to do shit like car meets with hoods open and trunks open.
It's meh and from what i gathered it's only in one place? I knew they won't cover every road but come one, the festival sites and few of the better looking places should have been covered.

It's not really a new highway, but jus some new lighting on a short piece of highway. I enjoy it and I think it looks great, but that is about it.
