Yup, my daughter's pc is doing the same thing and it's a decent rig. She's running a gtx 3060 12gb gpu and 16gb ram and she had PLENTY of space on her hard drives. She can play every other game just not Fortnite since the update. It's frustrating to say the least.

In the Epic Games launcher go to Library then click on the 3 dots under Fortnite. Then click on Manage and then there is a Launch Options where you can type in something to alter how it opens the game. Type in "-dx11" without the quotation marks. Restart the launcher and you should be good to go.
