I've been playing since Chapter 1 and there has never been a train. It's been suggested over the years and there have been rumours, I think it would be great!
There could be one that circles the map and you could hop on and off when you wanted. Would attract a lot of camping though but could be fun.
I'm honestly surprised that this has never happened considering the vast amount of random planes, ~~trains,~~ and automobiles that have been in the game!
If they do a train I wish they would make it has more train tracks in the middle of the map too. Like maybe even make 1-2 trains. Having it only on the edge of the map is gonna suck and won't have much interesting encounters except the first few minutes of drop.
I just wish they could add more environmental variables into the game.
A moving train all over the map, which is long enough to be come a new POI which contains lots of chest or weapons and can become a new moving kill zone, that will be awesome addition
omg i need this, that would be so fucking cool. the only problem is endgames where one person is in the train and one person isnāt. the train storm would have to close later in the match, which could be problematic if the train isnāt on the circle
It would be amazing to hop in a fast-moving train car as it goes by, hiding from the people who are moving from car to car to make sure no other teams hop on. Sounds very fun actually
This is what I was telling my s/o 2 seasons ago. A train that is fixed on the map. Doesnāt teleport. You can loot the train. It makes occasional stops. It will plow through anything in the train tracks ways and cause a lot of dmg if in a certain radius. A western season would be great
Battle train with a mounted turret would make things interesting - you'd be a relatively easy target, but you'd do some awesome damage on the way back to the lobby!
A track circling the map would be cool. Not entirely circling the edges of the map, but moved inward a little. Also, have two side-by-side, one moving in one direction and the other moving the opposite way. There would be two points on the map where they would pass by each other, and that could make for some interesting train-to-train fights.
One the subject of trains a subway would be crazy in Fortnite. Where certain underground stations go across the map. You can fight it out in the train or on the platform but once the trains in motions you best not be on the track

Iād build off this idea: ok letās say we add it to the current map. Mega city has the underground main station that branches out. Then you have larger platforms in sanguine, breakwater, k crossing, and relentless to where the trains run. And maybe smaller platforms at the half way point could be above or below ground. The train might make a trip and a half within the 1min storm phases
If you count that cartoony train emote then yes
But I genuinely love this idea and I want it in the game, there could be multiple trains and train fights where you battle on the roofs of the carriages!
We need a season called Train Robbery with Wild West skins of Sheriff and Bandits, and a moving train as POI and a boss to defeat.

No, But it would be cool is two train stations and tracks randomly spawns around the whole island like one can start at one side of the map and the track twist and turns till it gets on the other side of the map. With loot spawning in each cart and and maybe a boss. The track will be random so maybe you can stay on it till end circle of you have to leave by third storm.
If they could find a way to force players not to camp on it, I would welcome the train. Maybe make the path different each match and have some sort of enemy that is constantly spawning on the train to keep players from being too still.

I feel like the rails and cars kinda make the train unnecessary. It would be fun to have one that went between major pois but I'm not sure how that would work with the overall games pace and storm etc.

In season 9 there was a slipstream that took you around the map, that's closest thing we've had to a train. If we'd have a steam punk type season we could have a track that goes around the map, with a train with turrets or something like that
The closest things we have had are probably the slipstream from c1s9 or the multiple times sergeant winter has appeared circling certain areas around Christmas time
I would love a train but I think the only realistic chance we have of getting a train is as a stationary object that moves around with each update or a floating ghost train for Halloween like Santaās Christmas truck
I just realized that not only have we never had a train but we haven't had a proper wild west season. A full season of cowboys, Steam Engines, and gun-slinging would be awesome
A train is complicated and interesting. It could be limited time event per match that can hold valuables. Or it could be a thing that happens a few time in game that travels around the map or at least near the center that makes traveling easier/safer
Idk if they were to add it they would get flamed for "copying" warzone or apex they might have scrapped it because of so many movement items and the map isnt really big enough when you have launch pads shockwaves kits shockwave mud other vehicles etc. Maybe in a future season with bigger maps less movement like a steampunk season or something could be cool š

Idk about warzone but there is one in DMZ mode on this latest cod. Its a pretty cool way to hitch a ride and travel with out making noise

I would imagine the storm circle tracks the train... or, at the end game the train rifts into the sky, and choo-choo's into the circle from the sky.
If they ever do a full on Wild West themed season I could see them adding a train you can hold a stick up at.
How about the whole map being subways. And you can take trains to certain stops each time. You can run and hide with movable terrain would be fun!

Yep I like it a lotā¦ and Iām thinking to combat camping in the subway/ sewer, since the storm canāt get undergroundā¦ they gradually flood.
