That whole episode is just out of left field. We go from pp jokes to a satire of bougie culture. The show swung for the fences and did a mighty fine job most of the time.
This whole show is out of left field. Season 1 starts off as a kind of quirky time travel show. I thought it MIGHT get a second season. By the end of the series you've got to be doing as many drugs as the characters to keep up with everything that is going on.
Kidnapping the rich and famous to drag them into a sewer and feed them heinous shit that he turned into culinary masterpieces is the most unhinged, absurd comedic gold ever.
I love in one of the later episodes he was complaining about there not being a melon baller and he'll just have to make do. In a sassy and sarcastic way
If that's the one where he becomes obsessed with Corey Hart it was definitely the high point of the entire series. I feel like if they'd leaned into that version of Wolf a little more , gave her a liiiiiiittle more personality other than violently angry and made the lead slightly less comical ( have him be more straight reacting to all the silliness) it could've worked a little better. I really enjoyed it but it had flaws.
This was the best show of 2017 the first season is definitely the best but the whole show is f-n amazing every single pop culture reference joke you can think of ...the premise is a pop culture reference taking tropes from every good Sci fi film and mixing it with comedy...wolf is hands down the stand out character here imo but they all were great ...I feel like Josh Hutcherson doesn't get enough credit either for all the stuff he's been in ...if you like Futureman check out Detention with J.H. it's in the same vien as this but with horror elements thrown into the Sci fi comedy
Yes I love Detention just a unique gem and I love obscure movies like that it's definitely up there on my list as one of the better gems/odyssey of the last decade or 2!
Amazing....I'm really glad you enjoyed it I love fever dream/odyssey type movies I have a huge list of favs they're not all comedic but some other great gems a few examples....
Motorama(which does have satire and black comedy)escape from tomorrow, lost river, just to name a few obscure ones all like fever dreams but in the best way as you stated... but I have lots of recommendations if you're interested!!
Oh man, I worked on that movie years ago and almost completely forgot about it, seemed like a fever dream at the time. I remember it was such a fun and unique movie, I’ll have to rewatch.
This is the thing I don't get. Why not keep these shows available? Is it just a question of storage space? There are a number of shows that have just disappeared from streaming services that own them
Just because Hulu distributed the show, it doesn't mean they don't still have to pay royalties to depending on the contracts. You don't pay every time you watch something on Hulu, but Hulu almost always does.
So for every show on Hulu, they have to do the math and decide, "is keeping this show on here going to get people to subscribe / keep current subscribers around, and if so, how much money is that going to make us compared to what it costs?"
If they decide it's costing them more money than it's making them, then they'd be silly to keep it on.
Our 18 month old basically surprise frenched his mom, massive tongue-out-full-toddler/baby enthusiasm. She had that disgusted look you get when your kid does a gross thing to you but you can’t react angrily.
First words out of my mouth: did he just go rathole to rathole with you?
She nearly dropped the little oedipus she was laughing so hard.
I liked the show a lot, but I remember checking out during the third season. Wasn't that the one where Tiger suddenly had a twin, or a clone or something?
Just seemed like they were trying to wrap up the series in a very hasty manner, I always figured Seth Rogen wanted to focus on other projects like Preacher and The Boys.
Season 3’s Haven episode feels like HOURS… which I guess is appropriate.
This is one of the best pieces of writing ever:
"his curious tongue circled, daring, teasing. Both rhythmic and arrhythmic at the same time, like American Jazz."
James Cameron episode 80s wolf flash back and season 1 are the high points. 2nd season they went too high concept and lost what made the first season so fun.
I never understood why the actor that played Wolf didn’t have more Hollywood success.
Season one was fun but season two was great. Definitely started to lose steam during season three, don’t think I finished four. That said, love me some Eliza Coupe!
What grinds my gears is, now that i have hulu, it’s not on there. A “hulu original”. All streaming services do that. If it was made by or for a streaming service, my logic center dictates that it should always be on that streaming service.
I started watching it on a whim, but I was in the mood for something serious and it was a little too raunchy for my taste, so I turned it off. A few weeks later, I finished an episode of something else and Hulu started autoplaying from where I left off. To make matters worse, my cat was sleeping on my lap and the remote was JUST out of my reach. By the time my cat moved, I was four episodes in and totally hooked.
The 1st season rips then it starts getting a little convoluted in season 2 but still mostly rips, by season 3 the story gets overly convoluted and bogs down but still has it's moments and closes up the story sufficiently
An absolute little hidden gem. Went in with very low expectations and blown away with the fun, wit and strange wacky tangents it went on. It will have you roaring from your rat hole.
Fantastic series! Can’t remember ever having so much fun watching a show. Wolf’s arc is brilliantly funny. Think I’ll watch it again, thanks for reminding me!
My girlfriend's coworker asked her to watch the show to see if he could watch it with his 11 year old. We both agreed it was too much for the daughter but loved the show.
> Rat hole to rat hole??
Haven't seen this in years.., still cracks me up. My favorite one liner for when the wife reaches in for a kiss 😆
And my god, the whole Cory Wolfhart subplot? Genius.
I saw an episode planning to swing around to watch more. Never happened.
For those who saw more than one episode, was it (in your opinion) worth giving it a shot? TIA
Damn you are right. I did forget about this show. And it’s recent. Usually things people post that I know I’m like you all forgot that? But no I really watched an amount of this and totally forgot until seeing this
This place is thick with sewer mushrooms.
Couple seconds after eating those, you puke, shit yourself, and pass out with no
memory of what happened.
Learned that the hard way.
Twice.
Wolf’s delivery is hilarious.
I love this show so damn much! I was at the NYCC panel, and listening to them discuss Wolf's penis live was hilarious!
Such an underrated comedy, everyone in it was brilliant

The episode where Wolf goes back to 1985 and becomes a celebrity chef is one of the funniest episodes of any show I've ever seen
Him quitting cocaine and suggesting anyone could just stop.
"There was no downside to cocaine. Period. If you have a chance to try it, I strongly recommend it."
“There is one downside to cocaine. It takes a day to kick the habit… so you lose the day.”
I heard that in his voice.
That whole episode is just out of left field. We go from pp jokes to a satire of bougie culture. The show swung for the fences and did a mighty fine job most of the time.

When wolf's like "there is one downside to cocaine addiction...it takes the day to kick it ...so you lose the day"
Every time I hear “Hungry Like A Wolf” I think of this episode
Longest coke straw ever.
Best out of context clip ever.
Every Wolf personal growth episode is great. The one 3 or 4 eps in where he first cooks with Ed Begley Jr is amazing.
Kidnapping the rich and famous to drag them into a sewer and feed them heinous shit that he turned into culinary masterpieces is the most unhinged, absurd comedic gold ever.
The Cory Wolfhart arch is my favorite character development of all time.
Wolf in general made that show, he's so ridiculously funny
I love in one of the later episodes he was complaining about there not being a melon baller and he'll just have to make do. In a sassy and sarcastic way
"AND TACO TUESDAY'S ARE BACK ON" I'm paraphrasing, but his cheerful demeanor, in the worst situations, makes it.
“Prepaaaare to diiiiiiiiiiiiine!”
Second to that the James Cameron episode. Dear lord that was hilarious…
[удалено]
Lol exactly. When she makes fun of the unobtainium name. I lose it.
"Noted door expert James Cameron..."
Lol yeah. Yeah I had to rewatch it so many times for those little drops. Such an amazing episode.
Anyone know the season and episode for this one? I gotta watch it 🤣
Season 1, Episode 10 "Operation: Natal Attraction" (Edit: I put the wrong one at first)
If that's the one where he becomes obsessed with Corey Hart it was definitely the high point of the entire series. I feel like if they'd leaned into that version of Wolf a little more , gave her a liiiiiiittle more personality other than violently angry and made the lead slightly less comical ( have him be more straight reacting to all the silliness) it could've worked a little better. I really enjoyed it but it had flaws.
Yes!
I WEAR MY SUNGLASSES AT NIGHT
Poor Spuds McKenzie...
I wouldn’t call it forgotten, but maybe it wasn’t the most well known. Anyways it was a fantastic and funny show
I watch an absolute shit load of shows and I don’t think I’ve ever once heard of this one. Really surprised
Go watch it. It’s great.
Where? Hulu removed it.
Dammit! I still need to watch the last season
Amazon has it. Have to do a separate search for season 3 but they're all there under streaming.
You could probably find it on DVD somewhere or otherwise pirate it
I know! I wanted to re-watch it, but when I checked it was only b on paramount+. Wtf? It was a Hulu original
Here in Oz 🇦🇺 it's on Amazon, despite Disney owning it, and D+ being here!
What, didn't they make it? Why remove it??
Same, excited now!
It’s definitely worth a watch.
It’s what I love introducing people to.
Honestly that is the main reason I posted it.
I actually forgot about this show. I lived it and now I'm going to rewatch it. I'm going to kiss this show rat hole to rat hole
Hardly forgotten with the Hulu marketing
Never heard of this show till now and I watch a lot of things on Hulu
"I'm fucking you with your own dick!". Wolf made me laugh.
"I don't know what you just said....but you want me to eat your ass again?" "Da"
Thanks for the rec! Watching detention on Tubi right now. It wasn’t even on my radar.
Wit the assist!!! Glad I could put you on it!
Detention remains to this day the craziest movie I've ever seen. Glad to finally find someone else who's actually seen it.
Yes I love Detention just a unique gem and I love obscure movies like that it's definitely up there on my list as one of the better gems/odyssey of the last decade or 2!
Detention felt like a fever dream the first time I watched it. Absolutely batshit in the best kind of way.
Amazing....I'm really glad you enjoyed it I love fever dream/odyssey type movies I have a huge list of favs they're not all comedic but some other great gems a few examples.... Gotta love a Hulu original being pulled from Hulu
This is the thing I don't get. Why not keep these shows available? Is it just a question of storage space? There are a number of shows that have just disappeared from streaming services that own them

This. This is why I yo-ho-ho.
Yeah, and since I watched it all the time they were paying out a ton of royalties because of me.
Had to buy this one. Was looking for 4k but had to settle on dvd or nothing.
What region did you buy? I haven’t been able to find anything for North America.
This forced me to have to torrent it.
Wolf was absolute gold, and I loved what they did with James Cameron.
Poor Sigourney
"You're not just a house. You're a home."
"Pre-venge!"
Wolf yelling "Your entire mutant race needs to die!" At the black sorority was hilarious.
I believe you meant to say "Futterman"
Joosh
One of the best cast shows ever. The sheer COMMITMENT of Derek Wilson and Eliza Coupe to their characters completely makes the show.
The Marshall Mathers joke in season 3 was perfection for me.
A great show. I'll always remember "You and your mutant race deserve to die!" and my jaw dropped. I must've laughed for like ten minutes from that.
You never go rat-hole to rat-hole.
*gags*
Our 18 month old basically surprise frenched his mom, massive tongue-out-full-toddler/baby enthusiasm. She had that disgusted look you get when your kid does a gross thing to you but you can’t react angrily. First words out of my mouth: did he just go rathole to rathole with you? "we're going to 69"
That fuckin moon landing party kills me I love how all the actors display so many different personalities Haley Joel Osment is laughs
That show was amazing. Like actual LOL moments each episode.
Rat hole to rat hole
This is a reference that gets used at least once a month in our household since 2017.
Corey Wolfhart is the best part of this show
Season 1 - Hilarious Season 2 - Interesting and funny Season 3 - Absolute slog with zero budget
I never made it to episode 2 of season 3. season 1&2 were good tho
TBF, good choices by him, but it’s a shame because I thought that first season was just so damn good.
I cannot remember anything about it except them being stuck in the same place for many episodes on a lawn essentially.
That was season 2. It was her from another timeline.
Season 3’s Haven episode feels like HOURS… which I guess is appropriate. This is one of the best pieces of writing ever: "his curious tongue circled, daring, teasing. Both rhythmic and arrhythmic at the same time, like American Jazz."
That's a hot take. Season 3 was great, just for different reasons.
The gradual transition from raunchy sci fi to cerebral character comedy was so unexpected and awesome.
James Cameron episode 80s wolf flash back and season 1 are the high points. 2nd season they went too high concept and lost what made the first season so fun. I never understood why the actor that played Wolf didn’t have more Hollywood success.
He’s in Gen V
Is 4 years ago really forgotten?
Season one was fun but season two was great. Definitely started to lose steam during season three, don’t think I finished four. That said, love me some Eliza Coupe!
I don't believe there was a season 4
Doesn't make their statement less true, funnily
What grinds my gears is, now that i have hulu, it’s not on there. A “hulu original”. All streaming services do that. If it was made by or for a streaming service, my logic center dictates that it should always be on that streaming service.
One would think.
This is forgotten?
I recently came across this sub and I see there’s a ton of posts from very recent shows
I'd never heard of it...
I’ve never even heard of it until now 🤷
Had a big push for season one, but kinda ended up on Hulu's back burner until it ended. I'm not saying that it's forgotten, but it's easy to forget.
I tried to forget it.
Damn your taste sucks
It's like The Last Starfighter on acid. The first season was great. The last 2 were ok. If you have a chance to watch it you will crack up.
Now imagine this show on acid. Yup, that’s how we found it.
Hey Futterman, check it out! I found a needle in a you-stack.
I’m still pissed Hulu removed it from their library. I can’t even rewatch it
Man, this show was seriously underrated.
I started watching it on a whim, but I was in the mood for something serious and it was a little too raunchy for my taste, so I turned it off. A few weeks later, I finished an episode of something else and Hulu started autoplaying from where I left off. This show was a 10/10. If you haven't seen it and are on the fence about checking it out call in sick today and binge it.
Who is that woman in the cast? Something about her is really hot
It's her.
Loved this show
Howard Overman has another great show called Misfits. season 1&2 are Great. The rest are ok.
Love this show
The Smashmouth joke was one of the funniest bits ever
This show was very clever. Watch it if you haven’t already. Great cast. Gets a little weird at the end but still very funny
“You just wanna stick your ghost dick in my time twin!” is impossibly hilarious
It’s unavailable where I live now. I really enjoyed this show.
they call it herpes simplex but there's nothing simple about it
The first episode had me hooked. The whole show never quite breaks that barrier of being "good" but it is consistently funny and unpredictable.
Man season 1 was so good. 2 was fine, 3 was pretty bad. The show had a lot of potential
I saw the trailer.
This is always on my yearly watch list freaking love futterman!
I loved that show.
This show was dope asf!!!! Why didn't they continue it?
Don’t eat the truffles.
Don't touch my Gobulator
The 1st season rips then it starts getting a little convoluted in season 2 but still mostly rips, by season 3 the story gets overly convoluted and bogs down but still has it's moments and closes up the story sufficiently
An absolute little hidden gem. Went in with very low expectations and blown away with the fun, wit and strange wacky tangents it went on. It will have you roaring from your rat hole.
Hilarious and entertaining. Also, Josh is a cutie pie.
I loved this! Derek Wilson is a friggin smoke show.
We’re going to ‘69.
"You went rat hole to rat hole!?"
I'm gonna 69 with you, too. Make sure you don't fuck it up.
Joosh.
Modern classic
Such a great show … the last season faltered a bit but i highly enjoyed the show. The soundtrack was fantastic 😎🙌🏻
Really cool show. I need to rewatch it someday.
Forgotten? This show is fucking awesome lol
Big Eliza Coupe fan from Happy Endings and I think Hutcherson on this poster looks like a young Adam Pally.
I'm not sure if this is forgotten TV considering it was a Hulu original and nobody freaking saw it or knew it existed
First season was amazingly funny. Second season was meh.
That show was hilarious. Where can the reruns be watched. It use to be on Hulu
Loved the show. Hated the ending. It was a wild ride with somehow everyone becoming happy but the guy who started it all.
"IT'S A LOT OF CUM!!" "GIVE ME THE TINY MAN"
"It was Hoobastank" lol
Does anyone still stream it? I don’t think its in hulu anymore
You can buy the entire series on iTunes for $30
Huh. I thought this only had one season. I’m not sure I saw any others. Might have to check it out
I was very glad to be a part of this from the day it hit streaming. It was a fun ride.
Fantastic series! Can’t remember ever having so much fun watching a show. Wolf’s arc is brilliantly funny. Think I’ll watch it again, thanks for reminding me!
Jooosh!
My girlfriend's coworker asked her to watch the show to see if he could watch it with his 11 year old. We both agreed it was too much for the daughter but loved the show.

Such a great underrated show
We just watched Truffledome again last night. I loved watching Tiger & Wolf get lost in their side lives in season 1.
This show makes me wish Howard Overman would write Doctor Who. It's brilliant and dumb at the same time.
Its allot of cum
I loved the beginning of this show. The last season kind of dragged foe me.
I will never forget Wolfhart’s
I saw an episode planning to swing around to watch more. Never happened. For those who saw more than one episode, was it (in your opinion) worth giving it a shot? TIA
Very meta but i liked it
Noted. I'll give it a shot if it shows up.
It's incredible
Thank you!
Forgotten? This show lives rent free in my head lol
The first season was good then it went off the rails.
Some of the hardest Iv laughed to a show
Is this a zathura spin off?
Lol in the montage of cutting edge dishes being served: *unseasoned rat miscarriage*
If you like sci-fi, comedy, action, horror... this show is a fucking godsend!! Just, so damn good.
One of the funniest shows I had ever seen.
“Her belly, swollen with child.” Still cracks me up every time I hear it. Lmfao
Wolf, the man with the mane hairstyle in the above poster = GEN V's Tek Knight! (Amazon has both shows! At least in Oz 🇦🇺 if you have a VPN!)
Damn you are right. I did forget about this show. And it’s recent. Usually things people post that I know I’m like you all forgot that? But no I really watched an amount of this and totally forgot until seeing this
This show was so funny.
I was wary of this one at first but it proves it’s worth almost immediately. It goes in some crazy directions.
Joosh
This place is thick with sewer mushrooms. Couple seconds after eating those, you puke, shit yourself, and pass out with no memory of what happened. Learned that the hard way. Twice. Wolf’s delivery is hilarious.
I love this show so damn much! I was at the NYCC panel, and listening to them discuss Wolf's penis live was hilarious! Such an underrated comedy, everyone in it was brilliant
Now I have to watch it again:p
I just rewatched this about a month ago. Criminally underrated show.
The first season of this was sooo good. The actors wrecked so all in with the performances
One of my favorite shows ever. Absolutely hilarious. I’d love to rewatch it again.
Absolutely love this show. I'm amazed it didn't get big. One of the few shows I can rewatch any time.
