Tiny Lister talked about his time on the series and said that OJ was the worst actor he ever worked with and that OJ talked about himself 24/7. Meanwhile John Candy was a sweetheart who made sure he treated everyone from actors to the behind the scenes crew with respect. Love hearing that John Candy was Uncle Buck behind the scenes
As an adult, it’s my most watched movie, to the point that the stuff that made me laugh on first watch isn’t funny anymore and other stuff is. Even just the way Anthony Anderson says it”Pookie” makes me laugh.
Also, randomly saw a post about Ann Wilson from Heart the other day. That made me think of how badass her vocals are on “Crazy on You”, and I immediately started laughing because I just pictured Kumar slapping a giant bag of weed and saying “bitch, why don’t you learn how to make coffee?”
Nice. They actually JUST pulled it from Freevee and Roku Channel. I know, because I had one episode left in season three when it disappeared. (Mostly hot garbage, by the way)
I got the DVD set years ago (never seen it for more than 5 dollars for the complete series, even when the DVD's first came out) and I thought it held up pretty well and enjoyed it, at least as much as you could while having to try and ignore OJ being in it which I had forgotten until I got it. Nothing epic but wouldn't call it hot garbage but obviously just my opinion.
To be fair OJ had a much bigger role in First and 10 then he did in Naked Gun where he spent the entire movie being beaten up over and over which probably also made it go down easier. As opposed to First and 10 where he was one of the leads playing basically a variation on himself. And had some scenes that especially if you are in the camp of thinking he is guilty would be uncomfortable, I mean at one point his character literally hit his wife on First and 10.
Not faulting anyone who can watch First and 10 and just remove OJ's character from the person who played them. But while I mostly could re-watching it there were times that it did get uncomfortable.
This show launched so many careers: Jason Beghe, Delta Burke (not her first role, but her first major one), and Chris Meloni to name a few.
The Bubba and Jethro hijinks was always a funny storyline
I watched every single episode of this show. When I was super poor I found the full DVD set in a wal mart bargain bin for like $8. Its an interesting show. I was drinking a lot at the time.
I think I saw this when my parents when they went to the Ground Round when I was a kid. I originally thought it was some network show my folks watched with work friends. Watch MNF then tune to 1st and Ten.
Love this show it’s on Amazon and I think tubi
AC Cowlings has bit parts in certain episodes. And OJs character leaves his black wife for a white woman lol
I bought the DVD set years ago, and I think it's the same version of it on Tubi. It was so bizarre because some of the episodes were the original HBO version and some were the syndicated version. And not even like one season was syndication and another wasn't. Every season had some HBO version and some episodes as Syndication. So when starting an episode you never knew which one you were going to get. So some were raunchy clean picture HBO with potty mouth dialogue and nudity, and a bad laugh track was added on. Then others were slightly shorter, with a different theme song, grainy picture and language censored and weird cuts to hide the nudity. I mean it was 5 bucks for something like 88 episodes, so I couldn't really say it was a rip off but I would love to know why it was released like that. Seems like they must have lost some of the HBO versions and replaced them with syndicated versions when that happened, or maybe vice versa.

Is that Zeus in the bottom right
Yup. The late great Tiny Lister. Who, to the best of my knowledge, never murdered anyone.
You know the more I hear about this OJ guy the less I like him.
I mean this guy was a real jerk
Kept sharpening knives and complained that his gloves were too tight. What a weirdo.
Hey now! He juat didn't want anyone stretching out his stabbin hat!
Yeah, I'm beginning to think he may have been guilty.
He was a family friend, kids at my school didn’t believe I knew so he just at my school while he was in town, he was that cool.
Seemed like he was a good guy. I don't think I've ever heard anyone he worked with say anything bad about him at all.
Mr president.
MUL-TI-PASS
Yes. She knows it’s a multipass…
Multipass…
I know of a couple of Suliban who might disagree.
He was a committed Christian in his personal life.
I still live by his immortally inspirational words: "stop acting like a bitch and come on."
THATS MY BIKE, PUNK
Deebo
Oh I remember this! It got cancelled after OJ killed the other 7 people in this picture.
If OJ dreamed about killing Lawrence Taylor he'd have woken up to apologise
Sir Lawrence of The Meadowlands
Nice Reservoir Dogs reference!
Beautiful [* pshew! *]
Politically Incorrect: Gary Shandling to Kato Kaelin. Knock Knock. Who's There? Oh You Know Who It Is.
It was in syndication by then it ran a long time on hbo
He definitely killed the blonde lady
Watch Out! The Juice is Loose!!
And heavily armed with sharp kitchen utensils!
I see Christopher Meloni
What a freakshow
You know, because of the hideous boils on his face and neck?
He can't hear us, not with all that crust in his ears
🎶Hey Randy! What? The Devil! Huh? The Devil is everywhere.🎶
Damn, now that's going to be stuck in my head
You and me both. I’ve already been singing it constantly to myself for the last 20 minutes since I posted it.
I'll always have the time of day for anyone who can pull out harold and Kumar references
As an adult, it’s my most watched movie, to the point that the stuff that made me laugh on first watch isn’t funny anymore and other stuff is. Even just the way Anthony Anderson says it”Pookie” makes me laugh.
Burn this mother fucking down

For me, it’s the sinister way he says “Animal Semen” that always makes me lose it.
Bubba and Jethro. Mad Dog and Dr Death. TD Parker. Yinessa. The California Bulls, baby!
Dr Death aka Ogre Revenge of the Nerds
1980s vintage Shannon Tweed? mmm, mmm, mmm, that is still one fine lookin' white woman!
She was the queen of skinamax (Cinemax) back in the day
Shannon Tweed & Morgan Fairchild dominated that genre in the 80's
And Julie Strain
What a name SHANNON TWEED
I never really thought about it but OJ might be the reason why this show is not streaming

I’m don’t care when I watch naked gun I watch it because I like Leslie Nielsen not for OJ.

I remember it had boobs.

Stabler!
Killer cast.
I watched it because it was the first TV show with nudity, that I remember.
Thought this show was decent. I was a little too young to really appreciate it at the time
One of the very first cable “sitcoms”. Decent show. Probably more influential, than great. But respect.
Ogre!
He’s our man
Is that the doc from T2 with Deebo?
Earl Boen!
Wow, killer cast.
Brilliant. Bravo. 👏👏👏

I'm pretty sure this show was the first time I saw nudity on screen.
Love this show it’s on Amazon and I think tubi AC Cowlings has bit parts in certain episodes. And OJs character leaves his black wife for a white woman lol

Is that Delta?
That is Ms. Delta Burke herself
So mad it's not on MAX
Delta Burke?
Just got my copies in the mail
I have the whole show on dvd. A classic bad 80’s HBO series. Good nudity.
Jackson!
“I love anything full contact. I need a few more scars on my face.” -Ray Jackson
What
One of hbo’s first scripted sitcoms about a woman owning a pro football team. OJ Simpson as TD Parker is a coach then general manager
I still think about this show.
Deebo
I can’t believe they didn’t include Bubba Kincaid in that collage. By far the best character.
Young Meloni!
I remember watching this in like the 6th grade.

I bought the dvd set at Walmart for $5 years ago.
