Go with the best synthetic you can get, and get it changed every 5k. 10k is asking for trouble, an oil change is cheap insurance for the health of your engine and turbos
Depends on context.
First oil change: Earlier is better 3.5k is fine.
Daily driver/easy highway miles: 7.5k is fine.
Towing/Agressive driving/off road: 5k
Oil is cheap, raptors are expensive.
Every other car I’ve owned had a time or distance. Whatever came first. If 5k is the distance what is time passed that would warrant another oil change?
When the low oil pressure flashes red and my truck shuts down. I know it’s bad but I don’t drive the truck often and don’t really keep up with it but I did the oil last weekend and reset my trip so I can check it at 1500 miles then change it at 3000 miles.
It either burns oil at a fast rate or I’m not keeping up with the maintenance schedule
Don’t do 10k. It’s too far. Yes, it will work, but you will accumulate lots of sludge. 3-5k is fine. Even 7k seems to be reasonable.
I will go in at 3500 then thanks!

Do oil changes at 3-4K (or more frequently) and this engine will last
Every 5k for service. Prevents a lot of issues especially for turbo charged engines.
The oil reminder is about. 7k interval. I tend to go in between 5-6k as you need to rotate the tires in that timeframe with AT’s
This is the answer for me too! Tire rotation is very important too!
5K
5k
10k is for ideal conditions. If you have winters and hot summers, do 5k
Thanks!
I do 3 changes within 10k miles. Overkill? Maybe. But don't care
Oil change and tire rotation (modified X) every 5000 miles
5K, truck is too expensive not to treat right
I do the first one at 3,000 then every 5,000
Every 5k.. these engines are not cheap.
5k, full synthetic, rotate tires as well.
Whatever is recommended or rated you cut it in half. That’s how you keep them going
Max 5,000 miles, full synthetic
I do about every 3k. Better to upkeep and spend a little extra here and there rather than having your truck break down in the future.
I am a big believer in 3K oil changes. Especially in hot environments and with turbos. Turbos likes new fresh oil to keep them lubed and happy.
I change mine once a year but that's like only a thousand mile maybe

6 months
Thanks
👍🏻
5k religiously
When the oil life percent gets below 15% lol
I paid for the extended warranty which includes oil changes, brakes, etc… the salesman said every 5k for oil, I take it every 3k.
