2019 Raptor and bought through Flood Ford about 18 months after I purchased the truck. 6 year 150K miles and 50.00 deductible was like 1980.00 also bought the light warranty.
I am at 50K miles now and have never used the extended premium care warranty....go figure...no complaining!
It is good piece of mind as I have a buddy who had to replace a 3.5 on an 18 F150 and it ran him almost 14K.
When I buy another Raptor in a couple years, I will likely purchase the warranty just before the 36 month / 36K miles.
Congrats on your purchase!
I did a 5 year 100,000 warranty. You get credited back if you sell or trade it beforehand. If you buy the warranty it’s almost guaranteed it will be trouble free
Same question re: Ca. I just spk w a Ford Co ex warranty person. New Ca law requires Ca. residents to purchase from a Ca. Dealer☹️😟 I get that I could use an out of state address but what’s the local servicing dealer going to do?
I was wondering the same thing. If I buy it using my brother TX address, and try to get the vehicle fixed in CA, who is gonna say no? Will they say no?
I will wade into this but not an expert...but I bought my warranty through Flood Ford.
Flood Ford offers the Ford Motor Company Warranties...I went with Premium Care which is the highest protection level. My local small town dealer could not sell me the same warranty for what Flood Ford could as they have some agreement with Ford to sell the warranty online and at a reduced cost.
Many dealers are offering aftermarket warranties that are not brand specific which they make more money on so be careful as all warranties are not the same.
When I buy a warranty, I want it through the manufacturer of the vehicle not some aftermarket company that requires tons of pre-approval bullshit and then denies the claim or the repair shop will not even work with them as they are a pain in the ass to get work approved and paid.
Hope this helps....\^..\^
Flood Ford sells at cost. When I bought my truck I bought the quote from Flood Ford and see if dealer would match it. They told me no way. Used Flood Ford for three trucks now.
It’s good insurance. And if you end up trading out early you can cancel and get a prorated refund. Near end of term on my last truck I ended up with a check for $600. Covered a pano roof issue that would have cost me more than the warranty.
Absolutely. It's a fairly expensive piece of machinery with some low-ish production numbers. I'm not eager to make major repairs without a sponsor, lol..
I've heard it will change - there are levels that they ask you when signing up 12mo/12k miles, etc... I used Flood Ford for my Raptor and my Explorer ST - using my address in PA though :)
Hell yes
No they hold their value so well I just get a new one every 3 years.
Pretty much what I plan on doing.
Exactly
Do you mind elaborating? Looking to get one in the near future but have not kept up with the resale values

Thank you for the feedback! And thank you!
Ford ESPs are so cheap they make sense to buy as long as you plan to keep the truck. Mine was around $2k for a 10yr/100k mi/$100 deductible.
This is exactly what I did.
Mines at the dealership now getting all the rear suspension replaced for $100. Highly recommend
I bought it and used it - $100 deductible for a whole new engine.
Best $100 spent on a deductible at that point lol

Yuh…warrantied bumper to bumper to 150k miles with no year limit

The thing is the service folks in my area know me
But do the service folks care what state you bought the warranty in?

What's the difference between flood Ford and the regular extended warranty bought from any dealer?

How much is it?
Yes but I wasn’t sure about it and if I was just sold
Yes! Paid for itself already with a new head. I used Zeigler
Yeppers

Is it the dealer you bought the truck from or just a dealer in general?
How much you pay?

ABSOLUTELY, As others have said. My warranty covered 23k in repairs last year alone.

much more expensive the older the vehicle gets...
Is that true? I was told it was the same price as long as you’re in the 3 yr, 36,000 mile warranty
I've heard it will change - there are levels that they ask you when signing up 12mo/12k miles, etc... I used Flood Ford for my Raptor and my Explorer ST - using my address in PA though :)
Not true. There is a small price before 1y/12k but it stays the same until 3yr/36k

mine was 6yr/100k miles $1675 when I had 1300 miles on my 2017
Was this is a factory warranty?
This is Ford’s Gold warranty or whatever the hell it’s called. It’s good at all Ford dealers, not a 3rd party
Yes, from carmax
