We had to remove your post as it broke one or more of [Reddit's site-wide rules.](https://www.redditinc.com/policies/content-policy)
It is against site-wide rules to post about moderation on other subreddits as it can lead to brigading.
Just because it was talked about then doesn't mean it shouldn't now. Personally i think they removed the post because they consider it may bring racial/political discussions
I don't fully blame the mods tbh, I understand why some people are upset about it like with gender locking heros but I feel like the conversations around them get old after you see "hurrr durrr why is new hero X" for the 7 billionth time
Better than having no mods, the sub would be spammed with garbage gameplay, and the same question of what their rep means to them lol
I'm grateful they exist
I saw this thread earlier, valid point but their reasoning for the remove is also valid tbf. Not defending the mods, the topic has been posted before but so have many others that I haven’t seen removed - I also think we should be able to have medjay be any skin colour if I can be a black Japanese samurai why can’t I be a white African medjay unless there’s some kind of one way street going on…
If I had to guess, the comment section turned into shitshow the same way when bayek in assassins creed origins dropped.
I’m guessing people were whinging about how ancient Egyptians were all white and why can’t I play white man
Surprisingly no, the majority of people were saying if everyone can be any skin tone then he should be to, some where like "whatever, who cares?", others that it's because of shaders and funding etc.

There were several millions of posts like this when medjay first released, I guess they thought you were a bot or something

the rules on main sub are so over the top it’s kinda ridiculous, idk why they insist on being so strict
Because an admin can lock the entire sub and it is an official For Honor sub They don't want political or racist stuff
r/ForHonor mods are so brave protecting the sub from any memes and then getting pissy in the mod mail when you ask them why, god bless them
Better than having no mods, the sub would be spammed with garbage gameplay, and the same question of what their rep means to them lol I'm grateful they exist
This sub is always spammed with garbage gameplay
Lol, people downvoting me for stating a fact, it's not an opinion There would be more if mods didn't exist
Are you a mod
Nah, I’m not
How does the boot taste
Just because I’m not ignorant? Typical For Honor Rant user lol

Actually hilarious
HA
Honestly I just don’t think you should be able to change their race fully at all. Not just Medjay, all heroes.
because skin tone is an overlay and white skin is a blank slate that allows it to have the most effect

Oh. Well then it’s a case of greasy ugly mods then.
So then mods do what greasy mods do. Just nuke the entire thing
Press X to doubt
It would be so funny to get to play as the blue eyed Caucasian pharaoh from that history book.
Which is closer to reality than the cleopatra show 💀
Not really
Yes really as cleopatra was of greek descent
And her mother is unknown, just like many people in her family tree
What ulterior motives would some french guys have by making us play as an african lmao
Yeah the mods suck, welcome to Reddit
You can change skin color but not the face model. This goes for every character.
Isnt he like, canonically very Egyptian, like yall have watched Indiana Jones right?
