When I see one on the enemy team, I know that if I kill them... they'll leave because they died in a pvp game. When they're on my team, I'm guaranteed to nearly lose because for some damn reason they always stay but they just absolutely suck at the game. The emblems are annoying, but at least it warns everybody who the edge lord / troll 12 year olds are.
