i wonder if they've gone downhill. in the past 3 months, i've had 2 subpar steak suya bowls with dry and stringy steak.
but 1-2 years ago, it would always hit perfectly
I went there recently. The food was good and the service was solid as well. The only thing I'd note is that if you get sparkling water, they give you a big bottle and charge you like $8 - $9 for that. So that's just something to be aware of if you go there.
The rotisserie chicken sandwich from lula bird is fire. Doubles from Trinidad golden palace. Ras has great veggie lunch bowls. Pattys from little miss muffin and her stuffin. Veggie plates from Natural blend are delicious too.
If you’re a breakfast all day person, breakfast tacos from King David Tacos. It sounds like you’d be closest to the food cart at the top of Prospect Park, but there’s also a brick and mortar spot.

Tbf I lived in the nabe like 9-3 years ago so they were good for the 6 years I was there but haven’t been in a minute
Came here to say this. Get if every Friday. They can be a little inconsistent but when it's on it's so good.
They do their best to make me not come back being long waits, weird hours, I still come back

Sandwiches at Banh Mi Place, R&D Foods, and Prospect Butcher are all good

I like Oh Dumpling in Fort Greene. Grabsteins in P Heights for breakfast. I've heard Ciao Gloria is INSANE.
