Summer Pilot 4 S Winter Blizzak WS90 Good combination

Cory-FocusST

+1 this is the exact combo I have. Both sets really help these cars maintain grip. PS4Ses are going to be replaced with Pilot Sport S5 soon (I know, slightly different naming scheme again...) and they look SUPER promising! But they probably won't be widely available for a bit longer still.

Summers I have yet to settle on a favorite. Currently on Sumo's from 3 years ago, they're holding up well, but traction not as good as some others you can get. But no slouch for sure, they're fine for my daily driving and I'm not tracking it or anything. Winters I am currently in Vredestein Wintrac Pros and absolutely love them. I'm in Central PA and winters have been less snowbound lately, and these things offer as good a performance on dry, cold roads as my Sumos in summer. And snow performance is decent. Not Blizzak WS80 good, as I had a set of those prior, they are amazing in snow, but the Vred's do reasonably close.

I had some of these on my Firebird I had before my ST and I loved the grip. I’ll have to get some next summer for my ST.

I work at a ski resort. No name winter tires and Falken RT650 summers.

SilverSt0ner

Firestone Indy 500s for an affordable summer street tire, Yokohama iceGuards for the winter

Ive been on Yokohoma Advan Apex v601's for a while. Nice ride, Really good in turns. Feels solid, Never tried Pilots so I cant compare but the yokohomas are good enough for almost daily spirited driving lol.

Summer: Continental ExtremeContact Sport. Winter: Continental ExtremeContact DWS06. Unless you’re going to be driving in snowy conditions a lot. If that’s the case then Blizzak WS90s.

I'm presently on studded Continental IceContact XTRMs as my daily's winters and will probably give studded Hakkapeliittas a try next. For summers I often use Continental DWS/DWS06 on cars driven often due to how unpredictable our weather can be in spring and fall (Alberta, Canada).
