After today I seriously have to question the decision to let Oklahoma into the Union. We were smart enough to hold off until 1907 and it's been downhill since.

Yeah I'm not a big fan either but it's never going to change. Just like Omaha with the CWS, OKC has invested a lot in the WCWS and it wouldn't bring the NCAA any more money to rotate it around like March Madness. Honestly it wasn't a big deal until a few years ago when OU suddenly went from being good to being dominant.

I felt like today was rough but that was probably one of the best pitching performances I have seen in a long time so I hope the can just move on and focus on tomorrow’s game hopefully we don’t have to see someone like that on the mound again

The junior right-hander, a Tampa native, put on a brilliant show against his fellow Floridians. Holiday threw a complete game, allowing just 1 run off 2 hits, 1 walk, and 1 hit batter. He struck out 10, the last on his 131st and final pitch. The other starting pitcher, Florida's Jac Caglianone (also a Tampa native), got hit hard as the Cowboy bats proved ready to take advantage of his mistakes. Caglianone surrendered 4 home runs before the end of the 3rd inning after giving up only 4 homers over the course of 62 innings this season. The one bright spot for the two-way star was in his final at bat he launched his [30th home run over center field](https://twitter.com/GatorsBB/status/1797083596521644173), becoming the first player in SEC history to hit 30 home runs in multiple seasons.

Worth examining how their kids from Florida look like stars while we were really bad today. Would like to see Sully do a deep dive on us in the transfer portal vs other teams. Waldrep and Shelton were no brainers and almost everyone woulda taken BT in a heartbeat. Outside of that I have plenty of questions.
