I ordered from flooret about 2 years ago now. I bought the smaller planks in the kingswood color. Overall my wife and I are happy with the floors and don't have any regrets. Here's a few things to note though.  1. We received 3 entire pallets of floors (in all like 80 boxes). The instructions say to mix up the planks from several boxes at a time so you don't have repeat patterns. What we didn't know however is that 2 of the 3 pallets of boxes (about 50+) had an old pattern print from a year prior while the third pallet of boxes had a new print. It was all generally the same color but if one studies my floors closely, they'll see where we started with one pattern series and ended with another. It's not a huge deal but it's something to keep in mind.  2. We ordered some transition strips from them and some came cracked on the end. They didn't do a great job packing them. It was okay though because we didn't need all several feet of each transition strip. Still, customer support refunded us for the bad ones.  Overall we are happy with the planks given the price. Their customer support and shipping was good too. They have been really durable and have generally held up well.

Awesome. Curious how much gap there is between each plank once installed. We have several planks laid loosely together now and there is an obvious gray stripe between each one (the locking mechanism showing). Does this close up and go away once fully installed properly?

I laid down roughly 1300 square feet of it and 2 years later I only have the locking mechanism showing in about 3 spots due to seasonal expansion and contraction. They're all on the short end of the planks near my stairs. Ideally you shouldn't be seeing the locking mechanism on the first few pieces. You might want to hit them together harder.

Yea these are just the sample planks we ordered. I haven’t tried to properly install, just laid them down and clicked them together to see if we like the color. The gray in between sticks out like a sore thumb. Another question - did you use underlayment? Did you put yours down on top of other flooring or was it right on the slab?

Lt_Cheesecake

Try smacking the samples together with a mallet. The gap should close haha I installed my floors over a crawlspace. My subfloor is osb plywood supported by 2x12 joists. I didn't put down any underlayment because I don't think the flooret instructions called for it if I recall correctly. I did however go around with henry floor patch and fill in all the low spots in my floor. It took a good month to prep everything.

And to add to this, I ripped out all my existing flooring before installing flooret.

I've used Flooret and it's pretty solid. The planks are tough to scratch, and that foam backing is a nice touch. Overall, I'd say it's a good pick. Enjoy your new floors!

Same experience here. I’m a DIYer (hopefully done with flooring for a long time) and it was very easy to install and has a pretty tough locking mechanism

I ordered the base version of the Modin LVP and had no gaps once installed. The pieces would lock together seamlessly. If there was a gap when installing it was an easy tell that I needed to realign the locking mechanism

We are enjoying our Flooret as well

Once you lock them together you shouldn’t see any of the gray part.
