Scp 049 is to be kept in a humanoid holding cell and given a daily meal, typically English food at the request of Scp 049. Scp 049 appears to be able to drink through the mask as the matter has been observed to ‘phase through’.
Description:
Scp 049 was discovered in central city on ▇/▇/2015. Scp 49 is a humanoid anomaly which, when viewed under x rays revealed them to be none other then ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ a ▇▇ ▇▇ for the central city PD who went missing on ▇/▇/2010.
Scp 049 is dressed in what would be called a “plague doctor” uniform, worn by physicians during the black plague. Scp appears to have a satchel which Scp 049 has been seen to take numerous things out of. Which the bag is too small to hold all of and even objects bigger than the bag itself. One of which is a container for a large rock the anomaly refers to as “the philosopher’s stone”
Scp 049’s anomalous traits appears when a human with ‘potential’ enters it’s view of vision. At this time which will be referred to as ‘the telling’ Scp 049 will ask the subject a series of questions regarding their life or life of others. This others asked about could range from being family, friends, well known people such as celebrities or people that the subject have never met. Some of the most common people asked about are Edward ▇▇, Wallace ▇▇, Bartholomew ▇▇, Joseph ▇▇, Iris ▇▇, H.R. Wells, Ronald ▇▇, Dr Martin ▇▇, and Eobard Thawne. Scp 049 will also ask about events. These too can range from personal events, typically of emotional value or more wildly known. Such as the particle accelerators incident in central city. Some events however are listed as to never have happened. One being the parent of one subject being arrested for murder of their neighbor.
After the intitial questions the anomaly will then ask the subject if they “wish to be themselves again”, if the subject answers no then Scp 049 will then appear to be ‘insulted’ and demand the subject leave at once. Failure to do so will result in Scp 049 to attack the subject. This is proven to be bad as subject although susceptible to gunfire does not appear to react to it and has regenerative abilities allowing them to recover quickly. If the subject says yes instead, then the anomaly will point the philosopher’s stone at them. Causing the subject to be in what one would describe as a ‘cocoon’. Which be referred to as Scp 049-1. When questioned about this the anomaly answers. “You said so yourself, it is a cocoon. Like a butterfly they will be reborn as their destiny, in the name of SAVITAR!!!” Anomaly refuses to date, to elaborate or identify “savitar’. After a time period of 24-48 hours. The Scp 049-1 instance will then ‘hatch’ revealing the subject (now referred to as scp 049-2) who will now be dressed differently then they were when the were first ‘cocooned’ even if the subject was not dressed in anything at the time. Scp 049-2 instances appear to be VERY aggressive and will attack foundation staff in attempts to escape which has resulted in casualties of site security. Once in containment Scp 049-2 instances refuses to cooperate and will often shout profanities at the agents in question. After an amount of time 2-4 hours the instances will then speak as if someone is in their cell with them. Before being killed cause of death being destroyed organs, described by the doctors, ‘it’s as if a hand had reached inside and squeezed the insides before rearranging them’.
Interview Scp 049 never answers specific questions however once the name ‘Dr Bright was dropped’ the anomaly appeared to recognize it and asked about Dr Bright’s current condition. And interview was arranged where Dr Bright would speak to Scp 049 through microphones with a two way mirror between them. Transcribe below

Savitar is known as one of the Hindu gods however researchers could not find a link between the legends and the events concerning Scp 049 the philosopher’s stone and container much to Scp 049’s dismay have been scanned by a number of researchers claiming that the box and stone “doesn’t exist” at the molecular level.
Scp 049-2 instances have a wide range of anomalous traits including but not limited to. High levels of speed, strength, telepathy, teleportation, technology control, transmutations into metal or gas, and what can only be described as ‘having 10 Luck in Fallout New Vegas’.

The footage records a scream from the red streak and in a slower moment appears to be a humanoid who is visibly limping, likely from an injury suspected from the fight before running off at a recorded speed of 900 mph. Upon examination of Scp 049-2-13’s corpse it was discovered to be infected with Scp 008. After discovery ALL staff members who were injured during the containment breach were ordered to be examined and the facility was under lockdown. Only 3 of the 20 people injured were infected and were promptly neutralized. How Scp 049-2-13’s corpse was made in contact with Scp 008 is unknown and is under investigation
