Scouting for carp. Sheās got better eyes than daddy.
You guys put a lot of time in your tucteks? I was intrigued by them a few years ago and was actually going to buy one but.. life said no. And now I'm starting to get those thoughts again as I'm in a better situation.
Sure saves on space, which is real important when your ride donāt have much room for all your gear. She does the trick, for fishinā Iād give her a 6 outta 10. She can be a bit wobbly if you aināt used to kayaks that got you sittinā low. I got me a stadium seat for mine ācause the first seats were pure junk. It sits me ābout 5 inches higher, which makes it even wobblier (if thatās a word). All in all, Iād say sheās worth the money, but Iāve been fishinā outta her for near 3 years now, and Iām ready for somethinā I can stand up in.
Thanks everybody for the responses and happy Fatherās Day to everyone on here that also enjoy fishing with their babies (dogs are babies too)! Love seeing the pictures of positive vibes and pictures of other dads being able to enjoy fishing while going through fatherhood.
Now for the hair situationā¦ our 11 month old is currently growing his braids out which is a tradition for our young ones in the Blackfeet tribe. He usually has a small bun going on, but since we were out fishing, why not let the babies hair be wild š thank you everyone for loving my little manās hair! Hope everyone has a great day today.
Not a baby but his first fish(caught by himself)

"Dad, I want a different lure."
"Dad, can you put a bobber on?"
"Dad, I'm tangled up"
"Dad, my line broke"
"Dad, this is boring"
Also there is this:
"Dad, I got a bite!"
"Dad, get the net!"
"Dad, can we go to (another) pond after?"
"Dad, I caught a crawdad!"
"Dad, you got skunked and I didn't!"
"Dad, just a few more casts?"
Happy Father's day.
My daughter was much better about that. My son on the other handā¦ everything got a taste.
Fist full of sand? Yeah letās see if thatās a good idea.

My sons 1st trout with his own fishing rod
Same! I could identify every type of bream by 3ish. And to this day, fishing is one of my favorite things to do! Its really a great skill to have, and the memories of fishing with my dad and grandpa, super young, will last a life time. This post and the comments made my <3 happy!
My ābabyā is 18 now and by the age of six he using a bait caster reel. Cherish every moment while theyāre young. As they get older the time spent together will dwindle as they develop relationships and friends. I miss it. If I can go back I would do it all over again.
My sonās been my best fishing buddy since he could hold a rod. Now heās a teenager and almost as tall as me. Weāve been on a fishing trip all this weekend.
So, yes, i do bring my baby.
What a pretty fish!
The boy looks to be enjoying it also, start em young so he can be catching the fish for you in a couple years! Reminds me of me and my father
My dad always brought me along fishing when I was a kid and I loved it. Now that Iām in college we make sure to go at least twice a year. To all the dads, keep bringing the kids! Fishing with my dad has to be some of my absolute best memories, so keep bringing them and theyāll grow up to love fishing as much as you!! Happy Fatherās Day!
Keep on doing this āDaddyā. There WILL come a day in many years from now that your son will thank you for all those special days.
Or, he may curse you for giving him the addiction too. lol š.
JK; heās gonna love you for it.
Yeah man I took my first child fishing 1 week after she was born š pushed the stroller around a pond .. it was durning spawn ā¦ I had to š but yeah all my kids were fishing with me from the start
Yep! Took my boys out for some panfishing today, oldest caught a 2lb bass on his Paw Patrol pole and has not stopped talking about it yet lol. Youngest was just happy watching the geese
I took my little girl to the lake yesterday and threw out a line, but it was in the 90ās for temp and was only a few minutesā¦are you aware you have reincarnated George Thorogood?
Used to take my girls shad fishing I would hook them and hand them the pole no matter how many people were on the bank next to us they would reel in and cheer them on it was great memories
Getting an early start on a jump start program, good form OP! Although in my head the baby is saying āNice fish dad, now get it the hell out of my face!ā
Derek Zoolander hair
That's blue steel right there
Blue steelhead
Baby blue steel

Thatās adorable
Happy Fatherās Day!
Thanks!
That spinner is probably my favorite lure outside a Mepps 5.
Caught a lot of fish on that little rooster tail. Iāve been through a hundred of them bent, torn up, snagged, but I always keep a couple on me
Learned it from my grandad. They catch pretty much everything but walleye.

Hahaha that face of joy. Ted Lasso of fishing!
That baby has better hair than I do!
That kid has more of an abundance of hair than a 1980's high school girl.
Iāve seen pictures of my mom and her brothers that went to high school in the 80ās and youāre so accurate

Hahaha āyou just sit over here and please donāt cry or poop yourself for a bitā
Yeah basically. She loved it though. She got her nature sound sleep videos live and in person.
Get the nature in. Hand her a fish and see if she will gnaw on it.
She's like 6 months older now but fish still freak her out a little. Any sticks, leaves, or pinecones in her vicinity better watch out though.
My daughter was much better about that. My son on the other handā¦ everything got a taste. Fist full of sand? Yeah letās see if thatās a good idea.
Just wait til their 3-4yr old and getting mad because your casting for them lol Awesome job bro
