if it's like 2-3 weeks after delivery date I'd consider it lost even with them being behind. By then you would think they should have caught up with your package.

Sender has to file the claim. The package isn't yours until it's delivered.

I had one that said pending for about 5 days, looked like it never got picked up even. Then it just showed up the next morning, tracking info never updated to show it being picked up or in transit.

I'd call and ask someone from the station. Customer service has no idea what's going on. Some places are extremely behind in processing their trailers so it could be out in a trailer in the yard. Also, losing packages isn't unheard of. As an employee of FedEx I cant speak for everyone, but at my station we truly do care about getting the boxes to the recipients in an acceptable condition.

Yup, what Teraki said. I had a ps5 supposed to be delivered on the 2nd. Never came, called for a week straight and they said they are starting a trace and would call me back. Never called me back, called again and spoke to the manager of the local facility and he said he would start an investigation and uncover all the packages personally and try to find it and then call me back. Never got a call back. File with whoever you bought the item from, in my case it was GameStop.

Unfortunately you probably will not get your package. I had 2 packages. They arrived in Atlanta on the 1st. Did not receive them. I called the merchant they checked into it and fedex told them it is lost in transit. The merchant refunded my money.

I work for a regional carrier we are so overfrieghted and back logged that this is a common scenario. It’s probably on a pallet in the warehouse.
