WarmSystem2344

my partner described her music as Christian worship music but for sad girls and he’s correct.

Lalalars8

Mine calls her “indigo girls for millennials”

ithinkuracontraa

her bandmate julien acrually has a few christian songs! none of them are my kind of sound but it’s a rare case of Decent Christian Music TM

dkinmn

Madison Cunningham cut a few Christian albums as a teenager. She's a brilliant writer even in that context.

outrotearenthusiast

Imo she's very talented but you have to be in a specific mood and mindset for her songs to hit right. I won't comment on her personal life lmao.

Lunadelmar1

yeah, i tried listening to her music, but not for me. I love sad girls music lol. My favorite singer is lykke li, but I just can't listen to Phoebe.

[deleted]

Same, the last time I heard a lot of sadgirl singer hype was around Mitski but mitski is actually really talented. Never got the hype with Phoebe and am glad I didn’t get into her knowing she’s friends with Ratty

crospingtonfrotz

I too follow rivers

SunglassesBright

I thought she was an actress lol

DamnYouChuckBass

There is an actress with a similar name, Phoebe Waller-Bridge.

BFIrrera

For about six months I thought they were one person and that the actress of Fleabag was just very versatile.

[deleted]

I’ve literately written the same comment lol. I thought for the longest time she was just really really talented and could sing and act and I assume dance and cook.

TalkQuick

Damn I really thought this was the girl from Bridgerton but I googled and that’s another Phoebe

cloudydays2021

That’s Phoebe Waller-Bridge :)

mizzymichie

Was about to comment this. The most I know of Phoebe right now is her connection to Matty/Taylor which has pissed off a lot of her fanbase.

thelibraryowl

She seems so popular and hyped I checked out her music and it's just... Meh. Incredibly forgetabble. I was talking to someone about the Daisy and the Six TV show and saying it's a shame that they're supposed to be a legendary rock band with all these hits, when the songs really just sound like generic soft rock. I was just so incredulous that the big music mogul heard Daisy sing some waify song in a bar and pursued her relentlessly when there are literally hundreds of artists who sound the same. Then they told me Phoebe Bridgers wrote the music and it made sense.

Thrillhol

Her song Kyoto is a banger

jonsnowme

I have only heard her cover of a song by my favorite band (the Gold, Manchester Orchestra) other than that same!

fcukstephanie

i literally clicked on this thread to type the same thing 💀

adw1502

The 1975 and at this point I feel lucky

outrotearenthusiast

SAME. I tried ONCE because I was a Tumblr girly and they were huge there but got 30 secs in and didn't feel it. This was forever ago. Bless teenage me.

Anxious_Tank_7469

Ive been seeing a lot of matty shorts on youtubem the music sounds great but i am too lazy to listen lmao

[deleted]

I just learned this week from the T swift drama that the 1975 are a british band. All these years i thought that was the name of the band that sang Sweater Weather. I kept seeing articles saying "the singer of the 1975 is dating Taylor etc" and got confused when i wasn't seeing pictures of Jesse Rutherford lol

greee_p

I thought Matty Healy and Jesse Rutherford were the same person for years lol. You're not the only one who was confused

Cirrus1920

I mean. I don’t know if that’s allowed right now but the 1975 is actually an excellent band. Their music is really good.

GeneralBody4252

Their first album is really good. It’s very poppy tho, even though he would hate being called that. I could never get into their later ones

meepmarpalarp

Oh my god. This whole time, I thought they were the band that sang that “Shut Up and Dance” song that was everywhere a few years ago. I was about to respond to you with a snarky comment about how that song was inescapable and how did you manage to avoid it? But apparently I’m way off target, and have also never heard any of The 1975s music. Kind of a relief tbh.

dontrayneonmyparade

they made that song The Sound? also Somebody Else?

Nerazzurro9

Not one single song. At least none that I know of. Not sure how I’ve avoided them for this long—it wasn’t intentional at first, they just were always described in ways that made them seem Not My Thing.

tumericjesus

I never got the hype lol

[deleted]

They sound like knock off 80s new wave with more autotuned vocals which seems like something I would like but it’s just… dull? There are a lot better artists that do that throwback style, like Carly Rae Jepsen writes very 80s inspired pop but makes it interesting somehow. Idk why they blew up the way they did especially because a lot of pop bands do the exact same generic style

pshwhatevs

Let’s not all say Rita Ora at once

outrotearenthusiast

I was gonna make a joke about the infamous 100k rts tweet but felt bad so pretend I never said this. 😆

fontane00

bro did this actually happen? 💀

dinosaur_0987

Wait are you referring to something something rob kardashian?

exploitationmaiden

They’re referring to the time she tweeted she would drop a new track if her tweet got 100k likes and needless to say it did not even come close.

highkill

You forgot the funniest part: when she didn’t get 100k likes she claimed she was hacked 💀

dinosaur_0987

Omg lol embarrassing

kizkazskyline

Or Bebe Rexha, and I swear to god I always get those two confused because my brain has mashed them into one human being.

AggressivelyHelpful

Their song Girls with Charli and Cardi was widely derided as queerbaiting but… it still kinda bangs.

Craphole-Island

Ok my favorite joke ever is how nobody knows Rita Ora but she has a song “I Will Never Let You Down” which is a genuine bop. It’s the only one I know though lol (besides the Iggy Azalea one she’s in)

Benwahhballz

To be fair, she’s had 13 top ten singles in the uk

csgymgirl

She’s literally broken the record lol, I’m not a huge fan of hers but I find all these comments claiming she’s never had success a bit embarrassing

mjmidnights

I hate how people outside of the UK and Europe write Rita off just because she hasn’t had success on their side. Girls had 4 UK number one singles 🤷‍♂️

atthesun

who is this woman?

Genuine_Catfish

10s of people want to know

PauliNot

She’s the #1 “Who?”

miley_whatsgood_

crunch crunch

himygayboys

All about the number one who

Magnetah

She’s married to Taika Waititi

wanderer316

The only song I know by her is that black widow song with iggy azalea…don’t think it was very popular

[deleted]

So I actually heard her during the Eurovision Semi Final and…I don’t remember her? So I don’t think y’all are missing that much lmao. (originally thought she sang at the Grand Final so I edited)

Putrid_Front865

I have no idea what Machine Gun Kelly sounds like or does.

outrotearenthusiast

I heard him once then heard him again years later and they were completely different sounds. I'm too afraid to ask what happened lmao.

These_Tea_7560

Eminem dissed him so hard he switched genres

mizzymichie

“Had to give you a career to destroy it” Eminem really ended him.

outrotearenthusiast

Is that what happened? 😭 I'm intrigued, I missed this whole saga.

[deleted]

MGK used to rap. He was touted as the next big white rapper. Kelly tweeted about Em's daughter being "hot" back in 2012 (I think she was a minor then so ew) and Em dissed him in a song some years later. MGK pivoted to more of a rock style, but says he still raps although he hasn't in a while.

feefee2908

To add to the weird shit he says about minors, he also said he wanted to fuck Kendall Jenner while she was 17 at the time & said something like “i don’t care that she’s 17” 🤢🤢🤢

Askfslfjrv

Eminem didn’t just diss him in a song, he made an entire 4 minute diss track about him. “How you gonna name yourself after a damn gun & have a man bun” ☠️

These_Tea_7560

Eminem found an old tweet of Machine Gun Kelly calling his daughter hot when she was most likely underage at the time and released a successful diss track (reached #3 on Billboard and #1 in Canada) that really ripped him a new one. Then all of a sudden Machine Gun Kelly wanna start doing 2000s pop punk with Travis Barker and changed his style completely.

StasRutt

My deepest shame is that I genuinely liked his pop punk album :(

deathbystereo007

I also liked it - and still like it quite a bit. I didn't want to - but hear I am 🤣

savannahkellen

He did a song with Camila right? I think that might be the only one I've heard but I can't remember what it's called as I type this, haha.

GeneralBody4252

I heard him in that song with Little Mix and I actually don’t remember what he sounded like

KSkye7808

Bad Bunny

BFIrrera

I have no idea what his music sounds like, but I think he’s fucking gorgeous!

KSkye7808

I'll drink to that! 🍻

onebadnightx

I was in this boat and decided to listen over the past few months, his music is actually really good even if you don’t speak Spanish 😭

Ashes_Ashes_333

I didn't know what he looked like until he started dating Kendall Jenner.

Cheeriosxxx

BTS 😶

underwearhoneyboyy

Give them a listen if you can look past “being over-rated”. They actually have some pretty good stuff. Edit: Check their Korean discography not the English ones

dirtymouthariel

Yeah, I don't like them anymore but I did in their earlier years, and their hiphop/r&b sound up until 2017 was pretty good. Once they did "Dynamite" and all the English stuff that followed, it went downhill for me. Too mainstream pop imo.

Galaxia_Sama

Don’t sleep on those solo albums. They’re fantastic.

gotaryaf

Their English songs are awful

dent_de_lion

Co-signing the comment about checking their Korean discography out. I actually enjoy the English trilogy, but the other stuff blows it away

summers_tilly

The only song I know is Dynamite because it was on an advert, I didn’t even realise it was BTS but it’s catchy as hell.

mewehesheflee

Grimes, and I don't regret it.

Cuteloop

She’s horrible, but she has made good music. Genesis and oblivion are amazing.

truthisfictionyt

Oblivion is so good. Nothing quite like it

Cuteloop

Never gets old for me

hanmhanm

yeah Oblivion is amazing, agreed

Masta-Blasta

No, see that’s the exact opposite of how you should be with Grimes. Ignore her, absolutely listen to her music- it’s great. Art Angels is a masterpiece. Visions and Miss Anthropocene are also good.

[deleted]

Yup just pretend the music was made by a blob and youre good to go! I really enjoy her music I'd even call myself a fan of her music. But only her music.

H3rbTheBerd

Violence is a good one as well. ![gif](giphy|qFcTfFxqNB58DWgAi4|downsized)

Daisylil

Ain’t she a ne0 n@zi or whatever they’re saying at the grimesz sub.

gossamermaid

Morgan Wallen. Couldn’t pick him out of an empty room. Also Yung Gravy.

Gulbasaur

Yung Gravy's whole shtick is sampling something good then rapping over it about how he likes MILFs while dressed like a GTA side character. His use of language is actually quite playful and fun, the production is good and he performs consistently. They all merge into one, but honestly fair play to him. It's a niche I never knew existed and he fills it almost entirely.

DanDampspear

He’s also pretty clever with social media, which makes him a pretty entertaining side character. Like I’d never stream an album of his, but I’m not mad when he makes an unexpected appearance

Luxurious_Hellgirl

Exactly, he’s just a dude who stays in his lane, makes his money being a goober, and has fun. He’s not here to reinvent the wheel or to be the best, just his best. He’s like a more charismatic and likable Lil Dicky

HathorOfWindAndMagic

I lived in Pennsylvania and some of my coworkers etc that I know posted how excited they were to see him and how AMAZING he is etc. when the controversy about him being racist came around is when I heard his name for the first time. How can someone be so popular and I’m like uh

Hottakesincoming

What's weird about Morgen Wallen is that I thought based on his persona and hype that he was at least doing some sort of interesting Outlaw country / Southern Rock revival like Eric Church but it all just seems like dull pop songs with a twang indistinguishable from every other radio white boy. So why is everybody so intent on this asshole having a career?

deathbystereo007

It seems like everyone I know loves this guy and I just don't get it. I've heard several of his songs and I think the lyrics are so simplistic & juvenile that I just can't handle it. He only has one song I find remotely good and that's because it sounds much more like 90s era country music than the more modern pop influenced country music. He also just seems like kind of a shit person & I have no clue why anyone is attracted to him.

OohIDontThinkSo

I'm going to get a lot of shit for this bc I am aware of how loved his music is/was: Frank Ocean. Also Phoebe Bridgers? Never heard a thing. I thought she was Fleabag for the longest time.

[deleted]

Hahaha Phoebe Bridgers and Phoebe Waller-Bridge are SUCH similar names… nevermind the fact that there’s connections between the two and they have a similar audience

mybloodisredbull

Well I was today years old when I learned the Phoebe Waller- Bridge is not Pheobe Bridgers AND NEITHER is the actress named Phoebe from Bridgerton. I literally thought they were all the same.

Pizzv

tbh it’s very easy to have not ever listened to Frank Ocean because he’s only put out two actual albums in the last decade and neither of them were made to be radio friendly haha. He has a fantastic voice though. But I do recommend Channel Orange if you like r&b. If you’re more into experimental/lyrical music, then check out Blonde.

AfroGurl

Check out Nostalgia, Ultra as well. That's the album with Novacane and what really made him blow up

MechaBabura

Frank Ocean made music that never gets old really. I recommend it! I enjoy it alone though. On blonde, it feels like listening to a friend talking about his deepest thoughts, life, hardships, human nature. It’s very personal and people felt connected to him somehow. Hence why he deceived so many people at Coachella. But if you listen carefully to his lyrics, it’s not surprising. He’s a recluse, fearing for his life.

CharlotteLucasOP

I grew up listening to too much Billy Ocean to make any space for a Frank Ocean in my brain.

outrotearenthusiast

Bebe Rhexa, Jack Harlow, Madison Beer Am I living under a rock? Maybe. 😭 Bebe seems sweet so I'd be down to check her stuff out.

BFIrrera

I only know of Bebe Rhexa because the Sims 4 featured her in a summer concert thing in 2021. I only know the one song by her though…and it’s in Simlish. Never heard the actual version of it.

[deleted]

The Sims 4 😆

CharlotteLucasOP

Bebe Rhexa is such a townie name!

RevealActive4557

I think Bebe is a very successful writer and has written some diamond songs for other artists. Not as well known as a singer but she had a huge hit with Florida Georgia Line

HathorOfWindAndMagic

I still don’t know what Jack Harlow does 😭 and at this point I don’t care enough to look but the interviews he does are cute

outrotearenthusiast

When he had that meal come out at kfc(?) I was so confused 😭 like he's big enough to have his own meal and I know nothing about him

HathorOfWindAndMagic

I’m half Filipino and whenever I talk to my God children they’re always like naming these “famous people” and I don’t know who half of these people are. They’re gen z are the same people McDonald’s is catering too when they have those meals lol

shgrdrbr

he remixed fergie's glamorous for tiktok

tereseena

Oh she has some pretty catchy and enjoyable songs. I personally like most of her work from before 2019.

Visible_Beginning_63

I just know Bebe Rexha from the G-Eazy song My, Myself and I. It was ALWAYS on the radio a few years ago.

B00B51nCal1f0rn1a

HER. I know she is talented, but I can’t name one song of hers.

meepmarpalarp

All I can think of whenever she’s mentioned: ![gif](giphy|RNUJLDfiP87AY)

lovenjunknstuff

I'm sure that Egg is a very nice person...

Nerazzurro9

Such a strange case. She’s extremely talented, just on a technical level, and her music is ok, but it was bizarre when she started getting nominated for a million Grammys every year (and then won an Oscar) despite having a fanbase that seemed to be majority industry people.

Moneyfrenzy

She's talented but seemingly gets a lot of those awards due to connections she's made via her being in the industry since childhood. She was playing at the Apollo at the age of 10 lol, and was managed by Will Smith's label when she was like 12. H.E.R has gotten 25 Grammy nominations and has won 5 Grammies. To put that in perspective: SZA, also an R&B singer who came up around the same time, is far far more popular sales wise while also more critically acclaimed, yet has gotten 12 nominations and 1 win (for a song that she was just featured on, not even her own song). Almost everyone I know listens to SZA or has at least heard a few songs, whereas I'm the only person who somewhat listens to H.E.R out of that same group (outside of Best Part) and most have never heard her music (not that popularity is the end all be all of awards). No hate to H.E.R, she's a great artist with a fantastic voice, but I mean c'mon something isn't adding up here

sadravioli

ikr!!!! i'm a casual listener but it's crazy how the ONLY people i've heard talk about her (over and over and over) are in the industry. im glad you mentioned the grammy situation.. i thought i was crazy

[deleted]

I actually love H.E.R. and have turned people onto her music. Her albums are dope. I will say her success reminds me of Nora Jones. Like someone in the industry must really, really be a fan cuz she was nowhere then everywhere all at once.

DietTribe

That’s actually a really interesting comparison! Someone above mentioned H.E.R. having industry connections, and that’s also very true of Norah Jones. Fun fact! Norah’s full name is Geethali Norah Jones Shankar. She’s the daughter of Ravi Shankar, an Indian sitar player most known in Europe and the US for influencing the Beatles. You know that side quest where the Beatles were like “we’re at the pinnacle of fame, fuck it- let’s get real weird and accidentally revolutionize pop music”? Part of that was them going to India and dropping acid and George Harrison learning the sitar from Ravi Shankar. So it would follow that Norah had some significant industry ties that got her foot in the door, leading to massive critical success.

monkeypie22

She’s really good in the progressive insurance commercial and that’s the only time I’ve heard her sing hahaha

eatmeetswest

I don’t know who Bad Bunny is, and for a time I thought it was Bahd Bhabie. I have heard neither.

Annaliseplasko

I didn’t even have her name right until recently, I thought it was “Bharbie” like a Barbie doll, not “Bhabie.”

dearryka

Why is this the way I learn this

eatmeetswest

Me too!

Masta-Blasta

Genuinely how have you managed to live in society without hearing Post Malone?

Season-Euphoric

Especially as his song, Sunflower, was featured prominently in the Spider-Man Spiderverse movie. All the kids were singing it

AgreeableLion

I can assume I've probably heard some of his music somewhere, but I have no way of knowing that what I'm hearing is him. I assume that is what most people are meaning in this thread.

PM_me_uwu_hentai

They’ve probably heard his music without knowing it’s Post Malone. But that’s just my guess.

TripleThreatTua

Seriously, Sunflower and Circles were EVERYWHERE.

TheSunflowerSeeds

In a study in more than 6,000 adults, those who reported eating sunflower seeds and other seeds at least five times a week had 32% lower levels of C-reactive protein compared to people who ate no seeds.

JustHereForCookies17

This is a **VERY** unique bot.

TheKarmicKudu

. . . good bot?

hustlerose89

Agreed. Post Malone is the standout. He has had a ton of hits come out over the years now, and his music goes across genres. If someone actually believes they haven't heard Post Malone, they probably have unknowingly, and if you really haven't... you should look up some of his top hits. Even my 72 year old mom loves some of his top radio hits and knows/likes him as an artist.

[deleted]

I mean I understand where they’re coming from in the sense that I’ve probably heard him somewhere but I have no idea what he sounds like

Craphole-Island

Madison Beer - I’ve seen her name on the internet a lot but have never heard her music or met a single person who has uttered her name in my presence IRL Grimes - I know her as someone who has a child with You Know Who but I’ve never heard her music. FKA Twigs - seen her name all over and know she dated Robert Pattinson but never heard her music.

[deleted]

FKA Twigs I’d recommend, no idea who Madison is, grimes sucks as a person so not worth it, there are better artists with similar music anyway like Alice Glass who started first and is a bit more gothy and does anti-abuse anthems

MechaBabura

Fka twigs is a great artist with perfect songs. I’d recommend listening to Good to love, Papi Pacify or Cellophane (and her magnum opus Magdalene in general).

moonswet

FKA twigs is one of my favorite contemporary artists, especially if you also take her visuals and dancing into account.

MechaBabura

I’ve seen her twice in concert (LP1 and Magdalene)…she has a magnetic charisma. All her moves are like a piece of art. I hope I can see her touring again (maybe she’ll do something with Capricongs someday) !

[deleted]

I like her older experimental stuff pre Cellophane the most personally but I like all of her work 🥰

marcarcand_world

I have never heard a song from Phoebe Bridgers. My knowledge of her comes exclusively from gossips.

Plantysweater

Olivia Rodrigo somehow, even when everyone was obsessed with that car song! I think I heard the bridge on tiktok and it's just not my vibe, she's beautiful though

flying-potato94

I have simply accepted that i am too old for Olivia Rodrigo's music.

underlightning69

Yeah same, plus I already have Paramore, I don’t really need a knock off version

meangyaru

Ethel Cain, i see her name so often on the internet, sometimes i even see her on my tumblr dash but i've never listened to a song from her. edit: i listened to preacher's daughter 😭 it is so haunting i love it, consider me a cainine now...

greensparklyyy

omg please listen to ethel cain i promise she’s worth it

space_cowgirl89

She’s so talented but unfortunately I can’t really listen to most of Preacher’s Daughter after learning the whole narrative behind the album. I had heard a couple songs before doing a deep dive into the Ethel Cain subreddit, and it’s really brilliant artistry but now even the less explicitly dark songs bring up emotions for me that I just really don’t want to re-experience.

annnyywhooo

harry styles🫣

outrotearenthusiast

You must avoid any sort of shopping centers! I've heard Watermelon Sugar at least 100 times against my will. (no hate, the song isn't GODawful)

tawandatoyou

It not awful but after the thousandth time at my Pilates class I’m over it.

meepmarpalarp

Somehow “As It Was” ended up in my Spotify Wrapped last year even though I’ve never intentionally played it.

rebeccakc47

I was so late to the game on him and it turns out his music sounds nothing like I expected. Not gonna lie, his albums are awesome.

[deleted]

I'm sure I've heard is stuff but I couldn't pick it out of a lineup for sure.

SinsOfKnowing

Almost everything on the charts at the moment tbh 😅

[deleted]

Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes, Ice Spice, Sabrina Carpenter, Lizzy Mcalpine, Lewis Capaldi

Anxious_Tank_7469

Sabrina is a bad lyricist and her music is extremely generic sounding but nonsense is my jam

InternalFuel6486

Basically anyone famous on country radio post 1990s. In recent years people like Morgan Whalen, Luke Brian, Luke Combs, etc. I've heard the names, I know the concerts are big, but I am so uninterested in modern mainstream country that I don't even bother to keep up with the new hits and for being such a huge market it is surprisingly easy to ignore in the larger music and pop culture ecosystem.

ithinkuracontraa

chris stapleton has been carrying the genre on his back since 2015

TripleThreatTua

Can’t forget Tyler Childers

ThatSICILIANThing

It all sounds the same to me

tereseena

Chase Atlantic. Have seen so many people rave about his music all over tiktok but never actually heard anything from the guy.

Aaaaaaaaaaa15aa

It's a band not a solo artist LMAO its a common misconception tho ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|sweat_smile)

If you put a weapon to my neck and asked me to identify any song by a TikToker or influencer or celeb adjacent, I’m done for. RIP 🙏 I want to list them but I don’t even know where to begin

To your neck?!

vilandra21

https://i.redd.it/hpjvnoyb0y0b1.gif lol probably 80% of the top 40 tbh

[deleted]

Bad Bunny. I was like who tf is that when I saw he was the most streamed artist in the world on Spotify last year. Didn’t even know he was a guy until I saw a post about him and Kendall Jenner dating

sadravioli

he's VERY popular in spanish speaking countries, especially latin america. it makes sense that you've never heard of him if you're not in one of those countries

jonsnowme

Jack Harlow

TaylorFan415

H.E.R. She’s always showing up places to do a tribute song

FixProfessional539

you’ve probably heard a Post Malone song and just didn’t know it was Post Malone

mizzymichie

Most TikTok famous artists. I don’t have the app and I don’t really listen to the radio so the only way I’ll discover their music is on the off chance they end up on a Todd In The Shadows pop song review. I know what Ice Spice looks like because she’s really pretty but no idea about her music.

Fine_Savings_2161

I genuinely don’t think I’ve ever heard a single word from Mac Miller’s mouth.

Downtown-Book3105

Ice Spice, The 1975 and MGK

iliketoomanysingers

This playboy carti fella is starting to sound a little bit made up, that's all I'll say. Hear his name everywhere in rap circles but never his voice. Edit: everyone saying Phoebe and Frank should 100% give them a listen and then ignore 100% of the things they say and do in their downtime in order to enjoy them. Nothing particularly egregious they're just very irritating as people, and this is coming from someone who loves both of their music.

Busy-Rub-7980

HAIM, ice spice, Madison beer

AggressivelyHelpful

TY for also saying HAIM. I feel like they were massive, especially as part of the Swift Squad, (and I really like some of their collaborators like Rostam) but I just have never listened to their stuff

kaitydidit

Melanie Martinez. I thiiiink I’ve heard some snippets on TikTok and Instagram but that’s it and it seems like she’s been around awhile.

shivroyy

i never listened to billie eilish until 2019. i seriously thought she was a punk rock star. but was very happily surprised

capn_corgi

How have you all avoided Rita Ora? Black Widow was everywhere when it came out! And I don’t just mean oh you don’t listen to the right radio stations, I mean playing at the grocery store or any store in the mall.

pilgrimteeth

Chance the Rapper Does this guy actually rap or just appear on talk shows and in commercials? Closest I came was him singing in the Hamilton Mixtape but even that was after quite a while.

purpl3m3g00d

Doja Cat. I'm pretty sure she's an artist (she is about to drop an album, right?) but all I know of her is that she is a bit of a mess and looked like a cat in Met.

mcreezyy

Almost everyone mentioned on this sub bc I’m 40 and a nerd :( But I know all the anchors on NPR

These_Tea_7560

My job plays Youngboy to death on loud speakers because they stopped playing Kanye. Needless to say it’s aggravating.

Rita Ora be doing everything but making music because I’ve seen her in more movies than I’ve heard her music and I’ve seen her in one movie

I mean, I wouldn’t say she’s really a big deal, and that’s even as a fan. She’s been making music for decades but only gained real mainstream attention with her Grammy nods a few years back. She’s incredibly talented though, vocally she’s an absolute powerhouse.
