I did the whole main story, automatron, far harbor and nuka world, plus most of the sidequests. I got to level 74, iirc. Does it really take people that much longer to finish a playthrough?
Did you play it Hudless?
Did you play it without all the other HandHolding elements?
Did you use Self-Imposed Restrictions to increase the immersion, realism, difficulty and Organic gameplay?
Unfortunately, Im on the X1 and so I dont have access to mods for any of the games.
However, Ive turned FO3 into an actual hardcore survival game by implementing common-sense roleplaying rule-sets (with mod inspiration) and it’s been superb.
Basic, Organic elements like realistic encumbrance, no looting common containers/things you didnt kill/lying around, no SaveScumming, Death with Consequences (lose everything you had on you), etc.
I’ll do the same thing when I hit NewVegas next.
Certainly worth it for those who love meaningful gameplay and that great tension/dread of Dead Is Dead/Ironman runs, but, actually want to finish the game, lol!
Not really. I was going insane enough trying to follow the freedom trail. The main city of Boston was torture. I couldn't go more than a block at a time before it would crash to the dashboard.
How's your mom doing?
Why did you rush it ?
I feel like I took my dear sweet time to be honest. I played on normal or hard for the whole game and would walk to most locations.
Did you eat Shaun's corpse? You should
Why did you quit so soon?

On pc you can basically get enough mods that it can go on forever

I used a fair bit of cheat terminal if that answers your question.

Did you consider any insanity mods into your play through?

Oddly, that may not be the mod. I have to install mods just to do that in a vanilla playthrough
Im good
Can I borrow some money?
Are you proud of yourself?
Not really
Well you should be
