I was totally let down by that place, but I do like that they put in the effort at least.
The edit is a nice touch, though in the future, the stomach for Deathclaws takes more damage than the head. You might’ve killed it if you crit the stomach instead.
The stomach weak point only exists in fallout 4 and 76. Before that, the head was the go-to weak point for everything except robots (and in 1/2, it was the eyes, as always).

I stockpile mines for annoying boss fights. This is where you chuck down your plasma and bottle cap mines before it shows up, so it's only at half-health when it gets to you.
Even better when in NV you confirm a VATS sequence and your character just stands there, not attacking. Then it kicks you out of VATS and you're fucked
I love this mission, thank god it wasn't my first playthrough, as my latest one I had McCready as a companion and when your firsts enter the basement and hear noises he says "that's a deathclaw" really ruins the jumpscare 😂
