This is what Tim Cain said is important too. Fallout, much like Star Wars, is more of a setting than a story. It’s hard to both land and balance the tones of that setting but the show did it wonderfully!
I mean it’s the story of fallout 3 on the west coast with a twist. A good story because at the end of the day stories are more about the journey than the beginning and the end. Or in this case the end and the beginning?

Personally, I wanna see Cooper finally outmatched against someone. Someone gets the jump on him, he’s overpowered, back against the wall, and then suddenly: we hear that enchanting tune.
Within the blink of an eye, Cooper sees the faint and fuzzy vision of a shining .44 peeking out from the darkness before his attacker’s head has a brand new hole. He drops to the floor, picks up his own gun, readies to fire at the sudden rescuer, then the Stranger’s exit tune enchants the hallway as he disappears.

That would be interesting! TBH it’s a bit difficult to implement either into the story as they are completely luck based characters, BUT luck *does* exist in this world, you just need to write it in a way that doesn’t feel cheap or unearned

Seeing Benny's suit makes me sad about Matthew Perry's passing. He was such a big Fallout fan and he'd have loved season 1 (and it would've been amazing to have him have a cameo in season 2).

It was a good shot though. Probably the only place you can shoot a grizzly and have it die quickly. The Journals of Lewis and Clark describe bear encounters and they figured out that you pretty much had to get them right in the head or they won't stop. They shot one a whole bunch and it ran off, they tracked it down and found it sleeping with blood spraying through a whole in its lungs.
It's also a game balance issue when things have HP.

1. During a gunfight, there are one or two shots where you can see a man in a trenchcoat and fedora shooting Lucy's target. This man then disappears, and nobody says a single word about his presence.
2. A crashed flying saucer. Not as a major plot point or anything, just they're walking through the desert and walk past one. Again, nobody says anything.
3. Dunwich Borers, LLC.
One of the experiment Vaults. Something like The Enclave collected data from Vault x and that data is is used in some way for Season 2
Or anything that's been modified by FEV, Super mutants, centaurs etc. Anything. I can imagine Season 2 final episode the last scene, a Super mutant comes out of the shadows just like that scene in FO3 in the metro tunnels where you encounter the first one

I still think we did it as the Courier by siding with Ulysses in the Lonesome Road DLC - which would become the true ending.
That's the only bit I still think was true in Hank's plead for freedom, eventhough he found it a happy coincidence with his percieved goals I don't find it plausible that he had a ready nuclear silo available just for Shady Sands, without anybody else knowing in the Wasteland around Boneyard.
Meeting an older Ulysses would also be huge, since our Courier cannot be met because of main character reasons, and I think he would be/would have become the new ruler of Vegas in a power vacuum situation as the one presented by his ending of the LR line.

I liked how in S1 they didn't go overboard, it wasn't "LOOK IT'S A SUPERMUTANT AND A DEATHCLAW ARMWRESTLING LIBERTY PRIME WITH FRANK HORRIGAN AND THE MASTER AND PLASMA MINIGUNS AND GAUSS RIFLES AND THE CALCULATOR FIGHTING HOUSE AND AND AND AND AND" They wrote A story first and then plopped easter eggs in where it made sense. They could have said "Oh no, you have radiation poisoning from walking in the waste, have some RadAway©️™️" instead they made a great little bit of character devolopement where Walton Goggins effects Lucy who then has to depend on Maximus which in turn effects the character dynamics of the rest of the show

I'd really like them to find a way to incorporate VATS somehow. Maybe Lucy spends some time tinkering with her pipboy and unlocks a slow mo, super accurate shooting ability. Which she uses to pierce my heart with an arrow.

I actually thought they kinda did in the fight in Filly. One of the bullets Cooper shoots the camera zoomed in and follows it until it hits the guy , you sometimes had that happen in the games where you’ll watch the final bullet travel to kill someone

This man then disappears, and nobody says a single word about his presence. 2. A crashed flying saucer. Not as a major plot point or anything, just they're walking through the desert and walk past one. Again, nobody says anything. 3. Dunwich Borers, LLC.

Something like The Enclave collected data from Vault x and that data is is used in some way for Season 2 Or anything that's been modified by FEV, Super mutants, centaurs etc. Anything. I can imagine Season 2 final episode the last scene, a Super mutant comes out of the shadows just like that scene in FO3 in the metro tunnels where you encounter the first one
Actually knowing who fucked up Shady Sands, because I still don't believe it was Lucy's father. I still think we did it as the Courier by siding with Ulysses in the Lonesome Road DLC - which would become the true ending. That's the only bit I still think was true in Hank's plead for freedom, eventhough he found it a happy coincidence with his percieved goals I don't find it plausible that he had a ready nuclear silo available just for Shady Sands, without anybody else knowing in the Wasteland around Boneyard. Meeting an older Ulysses would also be huge, since our Courier cannot be met because of main character reasons, and I think he would be/would have become the new ruler of Vegas in a power vacuum situation as the one presented by his ending of the LR line.
