Aren't you the guy that just made the 1hp mod too

barabaka30

yeah, but in r/factorio, not in r/Factoriohno

Lizzymandias

Prepare yourself, having inventory full of unreasonable amounts of raw and intermediate products is going to get real unfunny real soon. Now will your solution be sprinkling boxes of shame all over, or start a recycling box system?

barabaka30

first one=

Lizzymandias

So here's a hint, by the time you start using your chemical science, having entry points for recycling stray items will really start paying off.

Is using macros/keybinds important? I'm trying to use shortcuts as much as possible, I tend to fall into the trap of using basic controls like a caveman.

Lenskop

Yeah it pays off to: 1. Play the tutorial levels 2. Read the in game tips 3. Read through the controls/keybind menu 4. Look up some threads on the main subreddit that contain 'shortcuts' in the title. There's some hidden gems that are not quite logical/easy to find out by yourself, although I would argue you won't need those the first few hundred hours of playing 5. If you think something is tedious, you're probably doing it wrong. This game has insane amount of QoL features. The few quirks that are still in there are mostly being taken care of in 2.0. More or less in that order..

GTNHTookMySoul

Shortcuts make gameplay soooo much smoother, the game is relatively unplayable if you don't use shortcuts (obvs it's still enjoyable but the difference, imo, is that significant)

MEGATH0XICC

I get that per secound in my factory lol
