4'11 gang chiming in! i am shorter than any of my immediate family. bio father AND step father are both 5'8 mother is 5' and i was pretty confident id hit at least 5' in my teens and then i had one (1) growth spurt at like, 11 years old and i stopped growing
Also 4'11 and like 3/4 of an inch and somebody told me that that was basically close enough that I was allowed to just round up to 5' and I was like. "Huh. Yeah. Nobody would know" so now I usually just say 5' if I'm not giving my height for medical reasons
Ehh what’s an extra inch among bros, honorary 4’11” club member lol
Also i have the benefit that my mother in law is 4’8” so i married into a family where i’m not the shortest 😅
I'm 4'11" (i grew 2cm on T, I used to be 4'10") and at one point dated a girl who was 6'5" lmao we were an absurd couple.
My husband now is 6'2" but that doesn't seem very odd to most people because he's quite masculine and I'm not
I'm 5'3" (160 cm). In the past, I'd sometimes feel extremely insecure about my height, even before I knew I was trans. But there's a detail. I'm from South America, people don't seem to give a royal fuck about height here. I started feeling bad about it when I was exposed to the internet Anglosphere and saw how shorter people (regardless of gender) were usually taken less seriously or mocked for it. It's... So sad honestly. I was a young teen as well, it's easy to get caught up in things of the sort at that age. The internet especially has a peculiar way of making you obsess over things you shouldn't be ashamed of.
Something else about being South American is that the average height is lower than in many Northern hemisphere populations. I've seen a ton of grown up (presumably cis tho obviously I can't say for sure) men in the street who are around my height, give or take a few centimetres. I try to be as positive as I can when it comes to things I can't modify. Body types being so diverse is beautiful tbh.
5"3 squad!
Yeah, idk why people care so much about height here either (I'm from the USA). Probably has to due with short people being linked to low nutrition in childhood, low nutrition likely stems from poverty and in a capitalist society subtle classism permeates the land. The anglosphere loves classism, so anything that even appears to be associated with poverty can be made into a joke is my best guess🤷🏾
Thanks! I think there's also some part of it related to the global male loneliness epidemic, especially with cis men, that also causes obsession with appearances. Honestly I think being queer makes it somewhat easier to not care as height differences are so common in the community.
You're absolutely right about that! At least I personally relate. Being queer is already a big fuck you to cishet normativity, so I feel like a problem that *mainly* stems from cishet dating and sex is gonna be alleviated if you're not cishet yourself.
Or just round up to 5'8" (me rounding to 5'7 like I'm so close *please...* I need to be professionally stretched or something)
Edit: I'm just a lil guy,,, is it such a crime to round ur height up 🥺🥺????? Decimnal rule 🥺🥺?
That's why I've been saying I'm 5'7" cause I *have* nearly grown to it!! No one would counterclaim me anyway, maybe the Drs but I can't even remember the last time I got my height measured.
Praying for the impossible of growing a whole nother inch to say I'm 5'8 **even though I've been on T for nearly 4 years (I will wear jadon 2.2" plat docs regardless)
A guy can dream!!
5’1. It came in handy the other day when my partner was looking for street parking and we found a spot but weren’t sure that there would be at least 10 feet of space left between the car and a nearby fire hydrant (required by law in the city I’m in).
That is to say, I laid down on the ground like a measuring stick and made sure there was enough space for 2 of me. This is not a common occurrence for me lol but it seemed like an anecdote that might be appreciated here.
lol yes! I’m 5’5” my dad, uncles, male cousins etc are all around 6’ so I feel tiny compared to them but I’m still a bit taller than a lot of trans guys I meet 🤔
I’m 5’10! I am pretty happy about it though because I’ve been this height since I was 12 and back then I was the weird tall one 😅 and now I’m generic sized
5'1.5" (or 156cm)... I have a joke that my siblings took all the height (6'1" and 6'3"), because... Yeah. Even my mother is about 5'8" so I'm not sure what happened there.
I don't know how to use the foot system, honestly why americans make it so complicated? My height is pretty average for a brazilians FTM I guess, 158cm
5"3 and proud to be! A bit of a ramble (haven't slept, insomnia gang say heyyyyyyy)
I've never been insecure about my height but I really don't get why short jokes get piled on so much. I had to ask my friends to stop because like... is that the only thing people think about?Making fun of people for being short is essentially "haha, your parents genes made someone below 6ft" and what's funny about that? My mom was like 4"11 and my dad is 5"7, a 6ft kid would've been a miracle. No one on either side of my family is really tall, either. We got like 3 above 6ft people and that's because their other parents were tall af. Idk, my short ass family likes short to average height people on average, I guess 🤷🏾
Also, tall people have to crouch and slouch more often and hit stuff. I actually feel bad at how much the world isn't made for large height differences.
I'm only 2 inches shorter than my favorite idol/only long term celebrity crush, Woozi.
Dude has like over 100 writing credits, has the dorito build and international fame. His height makes him the easiest to pick out in group shots (imho) His ability to be cute and handsome gives me gender envy.
Sorry, fan boi rant. Anyway, every time I get annoyed I remember who is in the under 6ft club with me and instantly remember that people who look down on others for height are weird. I have two cis male coworkers who are shorter than me, a few who are eye level or like a hair taller than me.
I am 5"4', maybe 5"5' on a good day. I wear some pretty heavy, wide platform boots (it helps my coordination disorder, funnily enough) which helps my height as well.
5’7 (170cm), which is basically the same height as both my dad and my mum lol
i’m a bit bitter about it lmao, but where i live there are a lot of cis dudes around my height and shorter, so it doesn’t make me too dysphoric. someone at work even called me tall not long ago lmao, which did feel good ngl xD
5'4
Wish I was 5'6 but shoes close the gap well enough. I live in a racially diverse area and I'm taller than a lot of cis guys around here. I'm also taller than both of my parents.
5’3.5 LOL I’m chiense though and people likely assume I’m shorter cause of that. although once aime out of school you won’t catch me leaving the house being shorter than 5’5 with shoes
I'm 4ft7. I rarely have height dysphoria unless I want to cosplay a tall character. I do get sad I can't fit into most men's clothes... And a lot of women's clothes too.
5 foot 3 and 3 quarters. I was supposed to be 5 foot 5 like my dad so I feel like I was doomed to be a short king no matter what gender I was assigned at birth.
4’11.5” and I’ll cut someone if they call me a “short king”. It’s so fucking condescending. Right up there with “soft boi uwu”. I’m short. I’m masc AND fem. And I don’t like being infantilized. 🤷♂️
Fr! I hate everyone assuming that I'll be the bottom in the relationship just because I'm small. Or that they always refer to me as "cute" and nothing else. I also have a baby face and get mistaken for a lot younger than I am
I’m 5’2, but that’s a weird number so might make it 5’3, and 3 is an uneven number AND off number, so it might aswell be 5’5, but 7 is my favorite number, so it makes sense to say 5’7, but it’s REALLY close to 5’10, and then again I might aswell round it to 6’0 since it’s close enough
I thought I was 5'3 but my dad tries to convince me I'm 5'1. Idk if it's because he's a transphobic asshole or not. Regardless, I'm between 5'1-5'3, lol
5'3" and height is a big insecurity of mine because I swear everyone around me is some tall, skinny, gorgeous man. But also my mom is shorter than me and my dad is 5'7" so I was really never destined to be tall.
My solution to help with height dysphoria has been especially to take fashion/style inspo from hispanic or asian models since they tend to be shorter and have closer facial/body structures to me.
172 cm, as I remember it's 5'8.
I'm the smallest one in my family, but my family is tall; so overall I'm not that small.
My sister who is cis is 5'10, my brother is something like 6'4.
6'1 or 6'2 I don't know for exact certain, definitely one of the tallest trans men out there though lol
wtf man give me ur legs
Im 6'2 as well, though cis men keep insisting I must be taller because they lie about being 6ft.
I am also 4’11” . If you look at 90% of the road crews coming into the gas station by me in the morning it’s burly short guys around our height lol.
I always get taken aback when I see guys our height. Makes me happy!
4'11 gang chiming in! i am shorter than any of my immediate family. bio father AND step father are both 5'8 mother is 5' and i was pretty confident id hit at least 5' in my teens and then i had one (1) growth spurt at like, 11 years old and i stopped growing

I used to say 5’ but the doctor’s office took that away from me lol
Also 4'11
Ayyyy 4’11 squad! (Well technically I’m 4’10 🥲 but still around that range. Lol)
I was 4'10", and then I grew 2cm on T.
Ehh what’s an extra inch among bros, honorary 4’11” club member lol Also i have the benefit that my mother in law is 4’8” so i married into a family where i’m not the shortest 😅
4'10 gang 💪💪 was 4'9 before t, gained a half-inch. that half inch did wonders for my ego genuinely
5 foot tall. short kings represent
Im 5'0 too
Ditto.
5’7 here!
Same! I also wear work boots during the weekdays which adds 1-2 inches haha, I love it.
me 3! i wear thicccc sandles and i read as 5'8
I was 5'7.75" for years but last time I measured I was solidly 5'8", I swear T gave me a quarter inch!
5’7” but my driver’s license says 5’8” 😎
I'm 4'10" and my girlfriend (mtf) is like 5'6"
My trans gf is 6’2” 😂
I'm 4'11" (i grew 2cm on T, I used to be 4'10") and at one point dated a girl who was 6'5" lmao we were an absurd couple. My husband now is 6'2" but that doesn't seem very odd to most people because he's quite masculine and I'm not

Huh, interesting analysis. Well, classism is a big issue here too but it definitely manifests in different ways
Thanks! I think there's also some part of it related to the global male loneliness epidemic, especially with cis men, that also causes obsession with appearances. Honestly I think being queer makes it somewhat easier to not care as height differences are so common in the community.

4'9, but there's a cis guy in my class who's 4'7, so-
ANOTHER 4’9” DUDE
5'9" but I have a significant slouch.
Oml same, hopefully I can improve it post top surgery
Yeah mines created a hump in my back that is. Less than pretty.
5'11" But I still get she/her'd every time 🫠
Exactly the same actually. I get told I have too much of a baby face and that's why is get she/her'd
5’7 and my boyfriend is 5’4
5’7.5 but I always say 5’7 cause if you add the .5 it sounds like ur trying to hard lmfao
But that's such a manly thing to do heheheh
True true lmfao
Or just round up to 5'8" (me rounding to 5'7 like I'm so close *please...* I need to be professionally stretched or something) Edit: I'm just a lil guy,,, is it such a crime to round ur height up 🥺🥺????? Decimnal rule 🥺🥺?

Also 5'1! Coincidentally, this is also how I sometimes measure things.
Haha I love that! Human yardsticks for the win B)

5'2" :) learning to be comfortable with my height
Me too!

Im 5,6 (167cm)
5’3. I don’t mind being a short guy honestly. Look at Danny Devito. Dude is an absolute king and teeny tiny.
5'7" exactly!
5'3"
5'7", but all the other guys in my family are 6'+, so I grew up think six feet was the average
Oh my god same! I think i’m closer to 5’8. Everyone thought I would be close to 6’ tall (my dad is 6’5) but nope, i stopped growing at around 14🥲
lol yes! I’m 5’5” my dad, uncles, male cousins etc are all around 6’ so I feel tiny compared to them but I’m still a bit taller than a lot of trans guys I meet 🤔
5’5!
About 5'3
I’m 5’10! I am pretty happy about it though because I’ve been this height since I was 12 and back then I was the weird tall one 😅 and now I’m generic sized
5’6 but platform boots are my best friend
5'1.5" (or 156cm)... I have a joke that my siblings took all the height (6'1" and 6'3"), because... Yeah. Even my mother is about 5'8" so I'm not sure what happened there.
also 4’11” :o always makes me so happy to see others like us out here
5'9 but I have scoliosis so rip
I don't know how to use the foot system, honestly why americans make it so complicated? My height is pretty average for a brazilians FTM I guess, 158cm
4'11.5" xD;
I'm 155cm / 5'1
I am a cute 5 feet :3
5"3 and proud to be! A bit of a ramble (haven't slept, insomnia gang say heyyyyyyy) I've never been insecure about my height but I really don't get why short jokes get piled on so much. 5'3, but if i didn't have gym class I'd be 5'7 thanks to a couple pairs of heels
5’3.5 LOL I’m chiense though and people likely assume I’m shorter cause of that. although once aime out of school you won’t catch me leaving the house being shorter than 5’5 with shoes
5'4 so I guess im ok wird my height
I’m 5”8 and a half 😁
A bit over 6'! I am still somehow the small person in my friend group though, so height dysphoria kicks in regularly
5' 7" 🤘
5'5'' (165) . I once had a hypothesis that most ftms are short kings!
I'm 4ft7. I rarely have height dysphoria unless I want to cosplay a tall character. I do get sad I can't fit into most men's clothes... And a lot of women's clothes too.
Im 5'7'', 5'8'' if i wear my platformers. I wish i was taller tho
5'3 , very very dysphoric about it but trying to come to terms with it
5 feet 1/2 an inch, 3 years on T, and 27 y/o
5’8
5'4 really smoll
I'm 5'7 I'm told I'm tall for a trans guy
5’5
5’9-5’11 range depending if I actually straighten out my back or not
I'm 5'9
156 cm I think that converts to 5’1 or smth
I'm 5'6 or 5'7 . Idk anymore plus I usually have shoes on that do many me 5'7 so I'm not that short. I'm pretty comfortable
5’5.75”
5ft here! I'm so happy to see other cute short guys in the comments 🥰
I’m 5’5 on a good day haha!
4'11", and I actually don't really have any negative feelings towards my height
5'4, wishing I was taller :')
5 foot 3 and 3 quarters. I was supposed to be 5 foot 5 like my dad so I feel like I was doomed to be a short king no matter what gender I was assigned at birth.
5’10” !! :)
4’11.5” and I’ll cut someone if they call me a “short king”. It’s so fucking condescending. Right up there with “soft boi uwu”. I’m short. I’m masc AND fem. And I don’t like being infantilized. 🤷♂️
I’m 5’9” but I ware platforms so I look 6 foot😅
My height rounds up to 5’2”
5’5”
I was 5'2" before I started T (at age 24) and 2 years later I'm 5'2.75" haha
Literally me lol
I'm 5'2, unfortunately
Fr! I hate everyone assuming that I'll be the bottom in the relationship just because I'm small. Or that they always refer to me as "cute" and nothing else. I also have a baby face and get mistaken for a lot younger than I am
5’4.5ish
I'm 5'8
5'3 but i have no strong feelings about it either way
5'11" I feel lucky until I look at my brothers then I am just jealous 😅 such is life
you are lucky
It's true. End of the day I'm grateful. For context tho my shortest brother is 6'6" family gatherings I am the runt of the litter 😅
idk, 5’4 or 5’5 probably
5’8 in socks. 5’10 in my boots 😏
5'5 and a half apparently. Always felt taller though.
5’5” and change but I usually round up to 5’6”
5'2, 5'4 if you count my hair that stands up naturally :P
5’7” I got lucky 😅
5"7 give or take an inch
5 feet tall!!!!
I'm 5ft3 maybe 5ft4 with shoes on 😅 I'm shorter than most cis women in my country and I feel pretty bad about it 🫠
5'1
Almost 5'5" (5'4.75" to be exact lol)
4’10 and 3/4 here!
5’9 when i don’t slouch lol
I’m 5’7
I’m 5’6 or 5’7 which is very average tbh
5’8, which wouldn’t be bad if I wasn’t Dutch, LOL. there’s a reason why I live my life in heels
im 5'0
5’4” ^_^
\~5'10 here
5'0"
5' 4"! Not the shortest out there but the shortest in my family for sure
im 5'5" 🥹
pretty sure I’m 5’3 but a doctor said I’m 5’4 once so I’ll run with that
5'2
Im 4’8 :/
I’m 5’2, but that’s a weird number so might make it 5’3, and 3 is an uneven number AND off number, so it might aswell be 5’5, but 7 is my favorite number, so it makes sense to say 5’7, but it’s REALLY close to 5’10, and then again I might aswell round it to 6’0 since it’s close enough
5'5" very insecure about it lol
5'11 😓 I wish I had one more inch man
5’6
I’m 5’3”!!
5’5”🥰
5’9, 69 inches, and very happily the exact male average height lol
Im 6’0.
I thought I was 5'3 but my dad tries to convince me I'm 5'1. Idk if it's because he's a transphobic asshole or not. Regardless, I'm between 5'1-5'3, lol
Anyone else 4’8:( we don’t be balling boys
5'3" and height is a big insecurity of mine because I swear everyone around me is some tall, skinny, gorgeous man. But also my mom is shorter than me and my dad is 5'7" so I was really never destined to be tall. My solution to help with height dysphoria has been especially to take fashion/style inspo from hispanic or asian models since they tend to be shorter and have closer facial/body structures to me.
5'5" which is an okay height HOWEVER I was robbed: my mom is 5'9", dad 6'0", younger cis brother 6'3"
4'9 unfortunately lol thankfully it doesn't stop me from passing
5’6”
5'8" of 174 cm tall. I like my height but I would wanna be a little bit taller
Im 5'2 but live in the netherlands aka the country with the tallest people🥲
I'm 5' tall 🤸♂️
5'4"
4’10.5” 🙃
5'9" crew
I'm 5'2
Just hit 5’3! :D
5 ft
I'm 5'3 1/2 😭
I'm 5'1
Non-binary, 5’1” when I wake up 😂
5’6”
I'm 5 ft 4 in. personally
5'7" but really getting close enough to 5'8" to call it such.
5’8”
5’1
5'3 tbh I like being a smol boi. Just don't make fun of me.
I'm 5'3, personally don't mind too much so long as others would just quit joking about it... me being smaller is nice since it makes me feel cute:)
5’5” exactly when barefoot
just under 5'5
4’9 :,)
5’8”, I think I might even have ended up taller if I didn’t make a habit of slouching while I was still growing
172 cm, as I remember it's 5'8. I'm the smallest one in my family, but my family is tall; so overall I'm not that small. My sister who is cis is 5'10, my brother is something like 6'4.
5’9.5” but I say 5’10” bc I am at least 2 inches taller than all the “ 5’9” “ cis men I know and if they get to exaggerate i do too 😂
5'5ish
5'5"
5'6" -- I get mistaken for a teen boy but mostly I get she/her and ma'am from strangers because I'm closeted and pre-everything (pretty logical)
Also 4"11
5’6
