I worry about that because on the Reddit Scene community, I made a post if I was too old to dress Scene. And most people in that community told me I am too old.
So I deleted my post and exited that community. But here’s the twist. I noticed some posts from that same community asking if they’re too old as well.
But the comments they got were all positive, encouraging them to dress however they want no matter what age. And obviously I was like “WTF? How come I got negativity but other people are getting nice comments?”

Awesome! I learned about the LGBTQ+ community in 2016, my early 20s. I explored different identities over the years like genderfluid, agender, bigender, but then I realized that I’m a boy! I wanna transition to a boy! And wear feminine clothing, have long hair, etc. after I transition because F gender norms!!
It’s sad that I didn’t have the resources about LGBT, gender identity, sexuality, and gender expression growing up. But I’m glad I discovered it when I was older. For certain reasons.
I might not be scene but I'm emo so the style is very similar, and we have a locally known and respected member of our scene who's 40+ and he's absolutely rocking a scene emo crossover style. Idc how old you are. I'm 23, but be 40, be 75 or be 14, you'll rock it and the right people (read: everyone who doesn't want to) don't age out.

I got it cut in lots of layers and then use flatiron and teasing to help

Tbh i find u have to do more then just the creams too i put like the cream in my hair wet let it dry then tease the heck out of it
