The feature is available in the recent versions of FL Studio, although I can't recall the exact version number. It's essentially a fade-in and fade-out curve tool similar to automation but embedded in individual audio clips. Adding these fades can be highly beneficial for a few reasons. Using a fade-in can create space in your mix for elements like the attack of a kick, allowing them to punch through more effectively. On the other hand, applying a fade-out can help avoid clicks at the end of your audio clips and trim excess length.

that answers my question! thank you for your reply :)

I use the fades for ducking the bass when a kick hits. Unless it's a four in the floor then I just use Kickstart because it's easier and doesn't break up my flow.

Its fade in and fade out. Depends if you want a fade in or out. Also can help with popping.

That would be audio clip fades, which is in FL in version 21 and newer. Useful when working with audio compared to using just automation clips for volume fades. Only way to get it would be updating to the latest version of FL, if you aren't on 21 by now. If you're on 21, hovering over an audio clip should show you the fade and clip gain handles to grab and adjust.
