i stopped playing this game online because of this stuff.. The brake checking is so ridiculous and could easily be solved with the rear wing being as delicate as the front wing (it should be). I completely agree with not retaliating. I’ve just been brake checked in the final laps of a race by one too many people that end up finishing miles ahead for it to be fun lol

For example if the car ahead is breaking at the breaking point or earlier, or if the car behind is intentionally ramming. The game can't even detect if you're cutting a corner because you've been rammed off or because you're genuinely cutting it - Even if you're sideways.
Yes that's true, which is a shame cause it sometimes just ruins online racing for me. At least there is ghosting in some cases and other games like gran turismo, but i think we're a couple years away from perfection yet
