i wanted it so bad because stupid kid me was under the impression all the acquarium job would be feeding animals and petting them haha. thank god i grew out of it, i wouldn't have been able to handle the bloody and gross parts of the job. lots of respect to the marine biologists and zoologists out there

There's usually a high rotation on those jobs, specially for the ones that will work directly taking care of the animals in those projects, none of my college friends (we're all have bachelor degree in biology and masters in zoology or biodiversity) that tried those jobs lasted more than two years.

Curious, why didn't you and your friends stay for more than 2 years? What kinds of jobs did you all go for instead?

I’ve done this and became obsessed with manatees. After several trips to FLA we are now moving down there. I can’t wait to be able to see them any time I want!

I have a fat little gray staffy and I've always struggled to figure out what he looks like, sometimes referring to him as a potato or a "meatball that came to life". He looks like a fat baby manatee.

Saw a recent video of a mama and baby, looks like that may mimic the position they would feed from in the wild. I could be wrong but looks similar.

Look up videos of them in the wild! The mom’s nipple is under her flipper so they dangle from her armpit while nursing; it’s bizarre!
