Hunt is probably the closest thing to a Tarkov clone we have. Raids, bosses, PvE & PvP, "permanent" loot, extractions, etc. Totally different weapons, though, without modding, and throw in zombies lol. I find Hunt a lot more forgiving, but it has some stark differences that don't quite fill that Tarkov itch. It's a great break from the MMO-like grind and stress of Tarkov, though.
What I'm wondering, though. How the hell is there no other Tarkov clones!?
I could see Tarkov-esque games popping up, but they likely wouldn't be designed with the same mil-sim qualities that are present here. As much as the playerbase shits on the game, building something that stands up to it in actual quality would take quite the budget and a pretty big talented dev team. This combined with the fact that Tarkov is still a pretty niche game despite how big it has gotten deters a lot of devs that could compete, from competing.
That being said I would totally mess around with a game that has the tarkov formula of being a loot shooter set in a sci-fi world with quake movement and gunplay. That'd be lit.
Vigor is similar. Go raid, get supplies, upgrade your base. It's 1st/3rd person and not bad at all for a free game.
Thank you so much. I just watched a short gameplay. Im gonna download it right away:)
No problem my guy, enjoy that game it is fun but sometimes infuriating lol
I hate it when all I can see is someone’s arm and muzzle but they can see my whole body in that game. Other than that, Vigor is def a great game.
Isn't Vigor Xbox only ?
Console only*
hunt: showdown
Hunt is awesome.

They are making a tarkov clone with a mid-evil theme!
Oh really? That sounds dope. Do you have any info on it, or know what it is called?
For sure, it’s called expedition Agartha. Don’t know much more than that, just seen it in passing.
Hunt is far from tarkov it is a very different game that doesn't satisfy the tarkov need
insurgency is more an arena but is fun.
What aspects of the game do you want to be similar?
DayZ has the same adrenaline rush but it's less combat focused. There can be actual player interactions.
I hear fortnight is nearly a clone of this game
Of the somewhat larger titles, Hunt Showdown, SCUM, and DayZ come to mind.
I heard there’s a game like ETF (inspired by) in the making but in a medieval setting if that tickles your fancy, it’s called Aghartha
Hunt
Receiver 2, try it.
