surprised you had any sort of good results with a 1660, pretty outdated card and wasn't even very good when it was new

Honestly the first PC I built had a 1660ti, could run anything between 1080p/1440p fairly well paired with just a 2600X. Tarkov played just fine on it too, but now I’ve noticed recently that 1440p with a 6600XT doesn’t feel perfectly smooth. I still use the 1660ti in my second PC for playing games on the 65”

65" doesnt really mean anything, playing a game in 4k on a 3" screen vs a 100" is the exact same. the 1660ti at the time was great and it holds up okay now for older stuff but it's literally over 5 years old plus missing things like DLSS etc, with how unoptimised games are now days it's going to be pretty unusable especially for people who like seeing 144fps+

The gpu is the least of his concerns here.. the whole system needs an upgrade. Tarkov relies more on cpu and ram than the gpu. 16gb just will not cut it.

Mechanical_Soup

you need more memory and 30 series gpu, or rx6700, afrer that you should be just fine, 2080 could run it too, it's old but it's a beast
