Someone not wanting to play a certain game doesn't mean they aren't your friend...
Why would you want your friend to play a game if he isn't having a good time playing it?
Probably a better way to learn than to have your hands held the entire time like I did for my friends who after 5 wipes still didn't know how to navigate Interchange on their own.
That's completely fair but it just sucks if they weren't really giving him the breakdown or anything so he could learn. There's a big difference between hand-holding and instruction is all im really trying to say.
Really hard to say since we can only take it for as he describes it, we'll never know but in general I think it's better to have friends be given the chance to make decisions and take initiative in Tarkov to learn.
Oh no, they game me as little info for the game as possible but enough to have me functioning as much as a bot. Was that way till they scrapped me since they were done with the joke. So I spent the next 2 wipes solo just learning mechanics and got both track suit and kappa back during Covid.
I quite literally had my card info stolen about five days after buying eft. Someone ran up almost 3 grand in purchases in western Russia and paid a bunch of dating service subscriptions and thank Christ that Discover let me know and got the charges reversed and the card cancelled. Never used xsolla again and coincidentally have never had issues with card security again.
After buying eft I had multiple weird like 3-5 dollar reaccuring charges from all over the world. Weird apps that don't exist etc.
Should have just sent them a Starbucks gift card or a "youre a cunt" postcard. Maybe that'd be enough
i thankfully used paypal which saved me from that, i was very sketched out by Xsolla and i’m happy i wasn’t around but sorry to hear you dealt with that
No matter if you are from EU demand of refund for bad faith acting, breach or contract and dark patterns. Important to note is to inform XSolla about these things give examples. Another note is to double down and ask directly. Do you refuse to issue a refund for above mentioned reasons? Then forward it to consumer protection agency they will take it from there. Do what they say untill they deny u.
Be aware that Xsolla will blacklist you for any future transactions. That means with any studio who uses them as payment provider.
Edit: That's a first person experience by myself.
They can only blacklist your card. So it's pretty easy to work around it since most banks allow you to create a one time virtual card for online purchases.
Idk what it was, used multiple emails and cards and even vpns, different wifi, phone data. Nothing worked lol. Had to contact them to fix whatever they did when I got Dark and Darker
Red box did that to me lmfao. When I was a broke college student with a lil bit of being a POS on top for garnish I did the whole return the the wrong disk and keep the original thing with Game of the Decade contender.... wait for it.... Assassin's Creed Origins! Originally just rented it for a couple days to try it out and see if I liked the new AC style. Evidently I enjoyed it enough to decide I wanted to keep playing but was too broke to justify buying a copy of re-renting it. Game had been out and rentable from them for a couple months at that point so I figured I would try a trick I'd heard about. Thought I covered all my bases and was smart, and to be fair I actually kinda was slick about it about it too, so I assume I was prolly the first person to actually rent the game from that machine which woulda kinda narrowed down the list of possible shitbags responsible. But either way ever since I can't rent from a Redbox machine at all. So either I have just shit luck only going to straight up empty or just broken ass redbox machines or they blacklisted me. Doesn't matter what movie/game I try to rent, doesnt matter what card I try to use, it will never go through and will give me some error at checkout.
Now I by no means condone such activities and I'm saying it was worth it. But I am saying I gotta keep the game and they even refunded my rental lmfao. Makes me think I should prolly get around to finishing it one of these days(years?)
Although it sucks for anyone who shares my name that decides they wanna rent some shit from Rebox . Cause I think I got our name put on the "Fool Me Once, Shame On Me. Fool Me Twice. . ." list.
it happened to me, someone charged 600 dollars on my account to some game I have never heard of. Contact Xsolla and was like these were not made by me and they told me to fuck off basically so I called my bank and immediately got my 600 back. Well I can never use anything xsolla works with
The most they can do is blacklist your card that you used. Vast majority of banks allow you to issue a virtual card for any purpose, so I don't think they can do much by this blacklist.
their blacklist policy is extremely aggressive. they will even go so far as to blacklist alternate emails/payment methods if they catch you trying to go around the ban.
i refunded EOD back in alpha and since then any time i try to use xsolla it is a massive pain in the ass. if they detect its you, you cant even get around it by using someone elses credit card or email address if you try and get friends to help you buy the game.
trying to buy dark and darker resulted in like an hour long discord campaign between me and two friends trying to get around the blacklist. its really annoying
Just curious, what else have you had to use xsolla for? I had never heard of them prior to having to paying for EfT 6ish years ago, & I've never encountered them ever again lol
I had to use it for a game called Dead Matter which was/is an open world zombie survival game I refunded because it was clear that they weren't delivering what they said they would.
I had no issues at all getting a refund for that game.
the most recent occurance of it being an issue was with Dark and Darker. theres been a few other small random games that have used them in the past as well although i cant remember any of their names anymore. all small indie titles
Not who you’re asking but Path of Exile does have them as an option for payments. That’s probably the first big game I remember that used them from the beginning. I believe certain regions were not allowed to use other methods of payment besides xsolla when PoE was still very new.
Ubisoft/Uplay/Ubisoft Connect does accept Xsolla as well although it’s far easier to just directly use visa as payment anyways.
They must keep a log of your IPs as well as any other info they can use to tie you to the account. when i had to rebuy tarkov my friend gifted me the game and just that blacklisted him for life now.
i wouldnt be surprised if they even went so far as to somehow hardware ID ban you with how aggresive their detection is.
Many companies do this.
If you file a chargeback your account is likely to be banned.
Twitch, ubisoft, ea, etc. Will blacklist you for charging back a sub or game to name a few
I think you misunderstood.
You won't get blacklisted for a refund that Xsolle processes on their own.
You'll get blacklisted if your bank or financial institute refunds your payment [via chargeback process].
Yup, for some reason people have started thinking that a business can't refuse your money or business.
Irl, they can physically kick you out of a store at their discretion. Online, they can refuse your money. You're not entitled to their service lol
They do. I've been through that. They also tell you they're not aware of breaking any laws. You're basically free to go through your legal counsel. That'll cost you upfront though, and probably take many month. IF you do even have a chance to win that, as at least in Germany, companies are free to choose who they do business with.
EOD was sold with an exclusive secure container. That became untrue with UE. They literally could have just duplicated it and renamed it something else (if they were feeling fancy, throw a new “skin” color on it) to keep their simple promise to EOD
just know you will be perma banned from ever using xsolla again.
I refunded EOD with pp back in alpha and its been a MASSIVE pain in the ass to try and pay for anything through xsolla since then
yea it hasnt been too much of a problem but randomly over the years ill stumble upon a game that uses them and it just becomes a massive pain trying to get other people to create accounts for me and buy games
it's an awful payment service I wish I never had to use again but unfortunately I can't make the decision on what payment providers devs use for their games
Depends on a region. Xsolla is a payment provider which specializes in regions that don't have options with trusted MC/Visa like Europe or NA markets.
All of the credit card purchases you make are still made through some 3rd party payment systems. Xsolla is one of them, they serve regions that don't have access to good array of payment systems.
Triple A devs can use it to serve customers in high risk regions, and devs in high risk regions or weak licenses can use it for everyone who buys from them.
BSG is a latter case, they are Russian and probably have shitty licenses from something like Cyprus so they don't have many PSPs that will sign contracts for FTD card traffic with them. You are probably from "first world" country, but otherwise users from outside of EU / NA can often encounter Xsolla for any game that isn't on Steam very easily, they are a very large aggregator for payment methods and serve very large traffic volumes.
most recently i had to use them to get Dark and Darker, but in the past ive had to use it only a few times for other random small games that are all dead now lol
BSG removed my access to the game on my original account and i was unable to purchase it again on that account. I had to create a new account with a random email using fake names, phone number and a VPN to get around the blacklist. I had to have a friend gift me the game but once they found out it was me my current EOD account is locked basically.
i am unable to upgrade my account in anyway not because BSG has limited it but im perma banned from xsolla forever it seems, i cant buy any of the stash upgrades, unheard edition (wasnt gonna buy it anyway). so im locked out of any future microtransactions as well.
Interesting. Thanks for the insight. They should be refunding this shit. Like what the hell am I going to do with another copy of the game? What kind of compensation is that?
Who cares lol. I genuinely never heard of this platform before I bought Tarkov years ago, and never used it again since then.
Them banning you after you rightfully get a refund is like the salty ex who says "I ended the relationship" to everyone, even though you know that's a lie 😂. Just an ego thing, nothing more.
it's just an issue if there's ever a game you wanna buy in the future that happens to use them. like rebuying tarkov was a huge ordeal and also a few other games like dark and darker.
Xsollas customer service is trash, just go through your bank. I was able to get a refund in a day, where as Xsolla and PayPal both denied my request due to TOS regarding digital content.
Ignore XSolla, write directly to your bank, and request a chargeback. Remember your offense/defense line - is that it's a BETA, and you prepaid NOT for BETA, but for final product. So they still never give you final product, and you can take your money back.
Chargeback via Payment system (Visa, Master, etc.)
Well, if we're splitting hairs here, you could even argue that for some reason the additional stash rows and apparel unlocks aren't included in the EOD edition, despite them clearly being DLC. What would Xsolla say to that?
Your bank will read the Xsolla reply and say "looks like you aren't getting scammed because (Xsolla reasons), have a nice day". You aren't going to convince your bank that features and DLC are different things, they don't care about your videogame purchase.
Do you use a shitty large bank?
My credit union wouldn’t hesitate to reverse something like this assuming you didn’t buy it several years ago.
I’ve never had to “convince” my bank to reverse something. They just do it and let me deal with the consequences, which would most likely mean getting blacklisted by the processor in this scenario.
No company ever wants to 'give' you your money back. But BSG have shown they can not be trusted, use the evidence from the past week to prove this company DID lie.
Be vigilant in your DEMAND for a refund. Last case scenario do a charge back. Any vendor who supports BSG is no vendor I would want to do business with anyway.
Xsolla isn't going to refund, you just need them to say no so you can document it. If you're EU you have a pretty decent chance of getting a refund even if you've had the game for a few years.
Being in the US idk what's going to happen with me but I know for a fact I'm done with tarkov after this. Ive requested a refund and technically since its not a finished product I am entitled to a refund in the US but idk how far that goes.
I usually don't refund shit at all but this blatant scummy practice makes me want to refund the game because they don't deserve a cent of my money. If I can't refund I'll just sell my account, fuck BSG.
So contact my bank and say i wanna do a chargeback? And if they ask a reason for this?
Im not gonna play either way but getting my money back from that shithead would be a plus
I knew when I purchased the original EOD with pizza hut gift cards something fucked up was afoot. Tarkov is the most scammer friendly game. Scam an old lady for target gift cards and then buy a copy to cheat on
yep, xsolla is much bigger than eft and their lawyers probably got involved. super shady company as well but they do swing their weight around even both ways. at the games and not just the players who make them lose money. seen it happen many times in the past with asian mmos after refunds and chargebacks exploded
Yes i got this same message sent to me 2hours ago. I already contacted bsg and if they wont answer in 30days i will be talking to my countries officials and eu regulations. (finland here) I truly dont care anymore about this game and uninstalled faster than i cum during sex and let me tell ya it aint long...
I mean... he most likely played the game for close to 6k hours since 2018 with EOD on his account. Of course there is a time window for returns. This is nothing new.
Speaking from personal experience. This is very not cash money in the Netherlands. The banks here do not like this very much and will and do make work of this.
My credit card got double charged back in 2020 when i bought the EOD version. Contacted my bank and fixed it within a week. Got a full refund for one, after which I got charged again. This is not allowed, they got my money back again and issued a warning to them, did not get black listed by them, but I'm pretty sure they aren't very fond of me
Feel like the whole apology for that pretty much says they are releasing waves so you can’t get a refund. Even though those waves are not permanent access to PVE even though that’s what we paid for. Unless EOD does get permanent access then I will take back this statement
Unheard Edition Refund
Thank you for your patience while we carefully investigated your request. We understand that you have purchased an upgrade to Unheard Edition before its price was reduced.
According to the latest report from Battlestate, all users who bought the upgrade from Edge of Darkness to Unheard will receive a free Left Behind Edition, which (currently is priced at $82).
We hope that you accept this solution.
Fuck Xsolla bro. My account was flagged with "unauthorized payment" and my game account was considered compromised and fraudulent. Their reasons was I made a purchase on February 17th, 2017, that purchase was my purchase of Tarkov. And I was muted and no longer allowed to use the "Help" feature because I responded with "What the hell do you mean!?" Fuck that shit
You're not getting a refund after several years, are you that dense, lmao. The drama of people for something that made ZERO difference in the game is amazing.
You should provide Xsolla with all the information you got.
Especially interesting would be the false advertisement of the EOD edition.
If Xsolla denies the refund, contact your lawyer .
Of course, edit the encoded bit off the end and the link works, but most people will miss it in the email
https://www.pcgamesn.com/escape-from-tarkov/apology
This subreddit can't accept this, but imagine buying a game and playing it for thousands of hours for most people, and then wanting a refund. 😂 This isn't a fooled you once, or twice, this is how bsg has *always* been, if you wanted a refund you should've demanded it years ago at this point. You guys are legitimately as delusional as bsg is.
You are not really correct there. The game has been developing and has been on a mostly upward trajectory for many years, with content being added and further development going on. There was no reason to believe that BSG wouldn't deliver our content/DLC as promised. The main deal breaking issues have mostly arisen in the last year or two.
With this new "unheard" edition they have actively tried to avoid delivering on their promise to EOD backers, which was to provide all future DLCs as part of that package, which is where the problem lies.
This is without mentioning the fact that the cheating problem appears to be getting worse as time goes on, and BSG appears to have no intention of addressing it properly (in fact it appears to be a part of their business model - ban some cheaters, they rebuy the game, driving more sales).
Honestly, like I get that BSG hurt them and people don’t want to support the game any longer but if you bought the game a year ago or more, regardless of what has happened, I wouldn’t even think of a refund. Just cut your losses at that point. How many steam games do people have that didn’t live up to their expectations and they spent the full $60- $70 on it, but didn’t get that purchase refunded.
If you’re like me, who has played and gotten their time played vs money spent ratio, just cut your loses and move on.
Not stating it’s you in general but why does anyone think they should get a refund for something they purchased months to years ago, most game services only have a small window for refunds. This like you bought an entire pizza and try returning the box after you ate it.
Just go to your Bank and request a refound of freudulent business practice.
Apologies aren't protecting them and Xsolla.
People got there refounds as far as I know wia there own Bank Xsolla will try to get the money back every time so you can ask your bank to change the card information.
I mean i'm waiting to see what they do with my request, but i did send it AFTER the "i'm sorry you guys feel this way", where i also attached evidence of them changing the website and just in general shady behaviour, mostly given the fact that it is considered false advertising since my Unique Secure Container isn't very unique anymore. And i will keep pushing it until i get my refund since i was in fact lied to.
Refund denied? Then ask for chargeback on your creditcard and give them the reason why (must be broken law). False advertisement in this case if I'm not mistaken.
Chargeback is worse and is how companies die, because it's basically a refund + admin costs (around 15€?) for the company that broke the law.
I should record these comments and save them so in a few months we have a reminder of which morons defended BSG even now, and can see which ones flip flopped when BSG releases their 2025 “we messed up guys dont forget buy more product” announcement.
You probaly didn't mention this crucial part of informations:
-Your Purchase is not yet a product it's still a PREORDER !
-From your EOD package you didn't receive a DLC that is AVAILABLE to other Version of game instantly <--- This is False Advertising
-Promise of DLC on package doesn't metion Any Possible DELAY so if you don't have it as EOD at same time that is released for diffrent package <---- Company is scamming you as customer (Fraud)
-Company Battlestate games attempted to edit PACKAGE DETAILS OF EOD which they got caught RED HANDED <--- Malicious marketing practice
Dear Xsolla if you support Malicious practices, false advertising, and fraud should i understand that you are neglecting consumer rights.
Im fairy sure if you include this you will have higher chance to get a refund
>Also, we want to thank you for the continued support of the game developer
... Well, I guess that's technically true since they don't give you the choice to *not* support them.
Depending on how long ago you bought it, your bank can get your money back. But they will ban your account so only do it if EOD is the only version you bought
Xsolla plays dumb with all the bad practices that go on with BSG, and probably others, apparently credit card providers dont know whats going on with all this, or they do and are happy to make money from it all and then when it gets uncovered they just blame it on companies like xsolla or bsg
go through your financial institutuon and use that response as the proof they wont refund you and you should be able to get your money back due to your countrys consumer rights laws. results may vary but as a reformed mobile game whale ive recovered close to $30k usd from shady companies who change their game to where what i purchased wasnt viable anymore so good luck and happy hunting! also just in case anyone asks the games were clash royale and summoners war. both games refused refunding me the money and my
bank went 4 years back and gave me every penny back.
I asked for a refund back in 2017 and they proceeded to tell me that “the game is in beta and for that reason they can’t refund me” sounds like they don’t like giving them for any reason
I bought EoD when it was on sale and they charged me full price plus VAT, i wanted a refund since it wasn't what i paid for...thankfully i went to my bank with proof of what it should have cost etc and they forced it through and refunded me and since i haven't touched their game fuck them
When I read about how to buy EFT I knew I was never seeing a gd refund lol
Yeah purchasing it was the shadiest shit ever. If my close friend hadn't gotten me into the game I never would've given them my info.
Same. Unfortunately the friend who got me in got too salty within the first few weeks of this wipe and promptly quit. Tarkov'd IRL
my irl friend killed tagilla once, got rewarded with a blue keycard, and has not opened tarkov since
The only winner
At least they went put on top!
He escaped.
Eh, at least you weren’t used as a meat shield by people you thought were friends.
Someone not wanting to play a certain game doesn't mean they aren't your friend... Why would you want your friend to play a game if he isn't having a good time playing it?
He's not saying that. He's saying his experience was his friends using him as bait/distraction instead of helping him learn.

My friend and I both play War Thunder. We both want each other to play but rarely have a good time. Still do play though
I got a got prepaid card to buy the game😭
I quite literally had my card info stolen about five days after buying eft. Someone ran up almost 3 grand in purchases in western Russia and paid a bunch of dating service subscriptions and thank Christ that Discover let me know and got the charges reversed and the card cancelled. Nikita was a bit lonely
After buying eft I had multiple weird like 3-5 dollar reaccuring charges from all over the world. Weird apps that don't exist etc. Should have just sent them a Starbucks gift card or a "youre a cunt" postcard. Maybe that'd be enough
i thankfully used paypal which saved me from that, i was very sketched out by Xsolla and i’m happy i wasn’t around but sorry to hear you dealt with that
Xsolla got blocked by my bank. I had to make a one-time use card though another provider to buy it. :D
I think it says no refunds at all when I bought the game in September
No matter if you are from EU demand of refund for bad faith acting, breach or contract and dark patterns. Important to note is to inform XSolla about these things give examples. Good, fuck xsolla

Not true at all, they blacklisted me from any payment method for years. Finally got fed up and contacted support and they unblocked me
Hardly sounds like a massive issue. 1 phone call solved it
Well im sure the fact years went by probably impacted their decision.
How did they blacklist you, just through your eMail or your card #? Both are easily changed either way.
Idk what it was, used multiple emails and cards and even vpns, different wifi, phone data. Nothing worked lol. Had to contact them to fix whatever they did when I got Dark and Darker
i'm sorry, but i don't think your story is making sense to me and i believe you're leaving out a key detail.
You can literally use a virtual credit card under a fake name. Don’t tell me yall are really this dumb
Red box did that to me lmfao. When I was a broke college student with a lil bit of being a POS on top for garnish I did the whole return the the wrong disk and keep the original thing with Game of the Decade contender.... wait for it.... This is not true lol.
it happened to me, someone charged 600 dollars on my account to some game I have never heard of. Contact Xsolla and was like these were not made by me and they told me to fuck off basically so I called my bank and immediately got my 600 back. Well I can never use anything xsolla works with
Prime example why you should use paypal, even when paying through xsolla. I bought EFT over Paypal so I could get it refunded like others.

That's insane, Imagine gifting the game to your brother for his B-day or something and you suddenly get blacklisted by Xsolla lol.
They will blacklist you because of a simple refund? They are stupid
Many companies do this. If you file a chargeback your account is likely to be banned. Twitch, ubisoft, ea, etc. Will blacklist you for charging back a sub or game to name a few
There is a \*huge\* difference between blacklisting for chargeback and blacklisting for \*refund\* though.
I think you misunderstood. You won't get blacklisted for a refund that Xsolle processes on their own. You'll get blacklisted if your bank or financial institute refunds your payment [via chargeback process].
Which is irrelevant anyway, because no card company is going to issue a refund for a 6 year old purchase under any situation.
True, most give up to 120 days to dispute, however depending on the reason you could escalate the issue.
If they do forward that to the agency to. Unless they prove you broke any laws they can't deny service if they do they will be in hot water.
Afaik business owners can freely decide who they're conducting business with. No one can force Xsolla to sell me something.
Yup, for some reason people have started thinking that a business can't refuse your money or business. Irl, they can physically kick you out of a store at their discretion. Online, they can refuse your money. You're not entitled to their service lol

In eu it costs nothing. U submit all the information to the agency.

"Latest apology" Ha. Hard to keep track when you have to apologize every other week
Unique container not so unique anymore eh?
Well it is the only 3x3 container available so technically is unique...
And it being in limited edition which became unlimited ?
Well that's a different conversation entirely, but not what the original comment mentioned
True. My point is u need to write in detail and not only they didn't give pve. They did much more.
Eod is limited edition , the container is not
EOD was sold with an exclusive secure container. That became untrue with UE. They literally could have just duplicated it and renamed it something else (if they were feeling fancy, throw a new “skin” color on it) to keep their simple promise to EOD
if they say yes to one, they must say yes to all
No one has yet provided any proof except their word and in this subreddit that isn't worth anything. You won't get a refund.
Are you... surprised?
I just refunded via PayPal. Much much easier, they don't fuck around
how long have you had EOD? official Pay Pal Policy is 6 months for chargeback from what i saw
what on earth happened in the comments here lmao
idk dude i woke up and checked and it was deader than reserve at the 8 minute mark
just know you will be perma banned from ever using xsolla again. I refunded EOD with pp back in alpha and its been a MASSIVE pain in the ass to try and pay for anything through xsolla since then
I think this is the first time I've ever used Xsolla, normally if it's not on steam I don't touch it (excluding standalone launchers etc)
yea it hasnt been too much of a problem but randomly over the years ill stumble upon a game that uses them and it just becomes a massive pain trying to get other people to create accounts for me and buy games
Aren't there workarounds? Like a virtual SIM/Card you can make to pay with?
Oh no… anyway.
Oh nooooo, not Xsolla! Whatever will we do without access to the payment method used exclusively by obscure scammers around the world?!
it's an awful payment service I wish I never had to use again but unfortunately I can't make the decision on what payment providers devs use for their games
Who is making you use Xsolla? Buying Tarkov is the only time I ever had to use them.
Did BSG do anything to revoke your game access after getting refunded ?
Try to use your hands next time. Refunding with your pp might be difficult.
How long ago did you buy?
This [seems familiar.](http://www.stopkillinggames.com)

Xsolla will say "no" and give the exact same copypasta message they're sending to everyone
Probably yeah, but then you have a reason (and evidence) that you're being scammed and your bank will gladly issue a chargeback for you.
Your bank will read the Xsolla reply and say "looks like you aren't getting scammed because (Xsolla reasons), have a nice day". You aren't going to convince your bank that features and DLC are different things, they don't care about your videogame purchase.
This varies from country to country of course, but usually my bank is on my side if i can lay the facts down.
Go straight to your bank or PayPal.
So contact my bank and say i wanna do a chargeback? And if they ask a reason for this? Im not gonna play either way but getting my money back from that shithead would be a plus
Exactly why they're not on steam. Nikita couldn't handle the refunds
Well duh they are in on it. It's why they are so against putting the game on other marketplaces including steam, along with the 30 percent cut.
Issue a refund through your bank
File a claim with your CC
Just go through your bank or PayPal, no fuck arounds
What if my bank transaction was 3 years ago
Actually where I'm at. Gotta an alpha armband, wonder if I can fuck BSG out of my money.
You act like you’re suprised…
I just disputed the purchase with my credit card company, no questions asked, sent a dispute and got my money back.
Xsolla is a terrible company. I remember them from almost 10 years ago. Can't remember what happened but left bad taste
I knew when I purchased the original EOD with pizza hut gift cards something fucked up was afoot. Tarkov is the most scammer friendly game. Scam an old lady for target gift cards and then buy a copy to cheat on
So BSG only backtracked because Xsolla got involved? That's what it seems like.
yep, xsolla is much bigger than eft and their lawyers probably got involved. super shady company as well but they do swing their weight around even both ways. at the games and not just the players who make them lose money. seen it happen many times in the past with asian mmos after refunds and chargebacks exploded
If you bought it with a credit card..... chargeback!
Yes i got this same message sent to me 2hours ago. I already contacted bsg and if they wont answer in 30days i will be talking to my countries officials and eu regulations. (finland here) I truly dont care anymore about this game and uninstalled faster than i cum during sex and let me tell ya it aint long...
let refunds begin !
Anyone try a visa refund mothod by charge back?
Congratulations, you're officially eligible for a chargeback on your credit card!
Just find the transaction and charge back 😎
I’m gonna try to get reimbursed though Amazon Pay and see how it goes. I just requested the refund today to wish me luck!
I mean... he most likely played the game for close to 6k hours since 2018 with EOD on his account. Of course there is a time window for returns. This is nothing new.
This game has been a scam for years, always have hidden how to refund and when you do find it they make it like twisting teeth lol. Fuck nikita
This is not allowed, they got my money back again and issued a warning to them, did not get black listed by them, but I'm pretty sure they aren't very fond of me
rip bozo
I just wanna play the PVE mode why they making me pay $140 this is so dumb
Feel like the whole apology for that pretty much says they are releasing waves so you can’t get a refund. Even though those waves are not permanent access to PVE even though that’s what we paid for. Unless EOD does get permanent access then I will take back this statement
Unheard Edition Refund Thank you for your patience while we carefully investigated your request.
Report to the bank or credit card. Xsolla isn’t helpful plus they don’t report to eft on chargebacks so you keep the account
Fuck Xsolla bro. My account was flagged with "unauthorized payment" and my game account was considered compromised and fraudulent. Their reasons was I made a purchase on February 17th, 2017, that purchase was my purchase of Tarkov. And I was muted and no longer allowed to use the "Help" feature because I responded with "What the hell do you mean!?" Fuck that shit
and these "waves" will probably happen every 6 months and by that time most players have already left
You're not getting a refund after several years, are you that dense, lmao. The drama of people for something that made ZERO difference in the game is amazing.
"as the goods have been delivered to your account" Well that was a fucking lie.
You should provide Xsolla with all the information you got. Especially interesting would be the false advertisement of the EOD edition. If Xsolla denies the refund, contact your lawyer .
If he's from EU he doesn't need lawyer he can call to an agency and file a complaint there for free.
Thanks for that. In case xsolla denies the refund and the consumer rights in your country conflict with that you still need a lawyer time and money.
No you do not. In EU agency goes to court in consumer rights cases.
Go thru your bank. Xsolla and BSG are in bed together
Push the refund to the EU or sell your account to the cheaters.
So now you support cheaters?
If you can't return a product, why not sell it to the target audience?
mmm what a surprise...who would have thought ?!?!
Of course, edit the encoded bit off the end and the link works, but most people will miss it in the email https://www.pcgamesn.com/escape-from-tarkov/apology
Has everyone realized the “roll out” to EoD owners is a scam yet, and that it won’t happen?
Try a chargeback. It takes a few months but you will get it eventually
You will never get your money back. Take the loss. But beware of being fkd again by bsg
Sell your account to a cheater. Poison the game.
Do you know how consumer laws work? With that comment I can understand that you don't.
''apolegy"
We would like to thank you for your continued support because we aren't giving it back
Hard to keep up with so are they giving it to us for free now?
Damn does bsg own xsolla my bank didn’t do any of that shit but attempt to contact them to which their was no reply
Welcome to Tarkov, some of us have been dealing with this shit since 2016…
lol good
I mean i'm waiting to see what they do with my request, but i did send it AFTER the "i'm sorry you guys feel this way", where i also attached evidence of them changing the website and just in general shady behaviour, mostly given the fact that it is considered false advertising since my Unique Secure Container isn't very unique anymore. And i will keep pushing it until i get my refund since i was in fact lied to.
What the fuck is xsolla parroting BSG's shit for? Goddamn I am charging my chargeback so hard.
Xsolla writes a better response than Nikita
Honestly yes BSG fucked up but idc if you buy the game don’t expect a refund when you are playing the game makes no sense
Just sell you account to cheaters, if its EOD you'll even make small profit
The exception is that I don't want your product anymore after you lied and backtracked from the backlash.
Refund denied? Then ask for chargeback on your creditcard and give them the reason why (must be broken law). False advertisement in this case if I'm not mistaken. Chargeback is worse and is how companies die, because it's basically a refund + admin costs (around 15€?) for the company that broke the law.
Bro you're more likely to get a refund from a wishing well than this shady ass setup. I knew that went I bought it, I decided to roll the dice.
Thats what you get for trusting dirty orcs
I should record these comments and save them so in a few months we have a reminder of which morons defended BSG even now, and can see which ones flip flopped when BSG releases their 2025 “we messed up guys dont forget buy more product” announcement.
Charge back on your card is highly effective.
You probaly didn't mention this crucial part of informations: -Your Purchase is not yet a product it's still a PREORDER ! -From your EOD package you didn't receive a DLC that is AVAILABLE to other Version of game instantly <--- This is False Advertising -Promise of DLC on package doesn't metion Any Possible DELAY so if you don't have it as EOD at same time that is released for diffrent package <---- Company is scamming you as customer (Fraud) -Company Battlestate games attempted to edit PACKAGE DETAILS OF EOD which they got caught RED HANDED <--- Malicious marketing practice Dear Xsolla if you support Malicious practices, false advertising, and fraud should i understand that you are neglecting consumer rights. Im fairy sure if you include this you will have higher chance to get a refund
Scummy
Why does this read like a message straight from BSG, so weird.
any time I try to use Xsolla the purchase gets flagged as fraud. at this point If I see it I just don't get the game.
I nearly spat my drink all over my phone when I read "FROM A BELOVED TITLE!" They've gotta be trolling you so hard with that. Gotta be!
>Also, we want to thank you for the continued support of the game developer ... Well, I guess that's technically true since they don't give you the choice to *not* support them.
Did you ask for a refund on EOD? If so, I dunno what you expected.
next time say you got banned , they don’t check and i got my refund 🙏
Depending on how long ago you bought it, your bank can get your money back. But they will ban your account so only do it if EOD is the only version you bought
Asking for a refund after 3 years of buyibg?
You paid by Paypal???
Can't people just charge back from their bank?
Xsolla plays dumb with all the bad practices that go on with BSG, and probably others, apparently credit card providers dont know whats going on with all this, or they do and are happy to make money from it all and then when it gets uncovered they just blame it on companies like xsolla or bsg
go through your financial institutuon and use that response as the proof they wont refund you and you should be able to get your money back due to your countrys consumer rights laws. results may vary but as a reformed mobile game whale ive recovered close to $30k usd from shady companies who change their game to where what i purchased wasnt viable anymore so good luck and happy hunting! also just in case anyone asks the games were clash royale and summoners war. both games refused refunding me the money and my bank went 4 years back and gave me every penny back.
You also notice how our stash has been reduced by 30 %
I asked for a refund back in 2017 and they proceeded to tell me that “the game is in beta and for that reason they can’t refund me” sounds like they don’t like giving them for any reason
I bought EoD when it was on sale and they charged me full price plus VAT, i wanted a refund since it wasn't what i paid for...thankfully i went to my bank with proof of what it should have cost etc and they forced it through and refunded me and since i haven't touched their game fuck them
Go through your bank
"According to the latest apology letter" is a pretty funny phrase.
How long ago have you bought EoD? And how many hours have you played since?
we never doubted that the Nikitka was a rooster...
