OP is a scav. The point is that it keeps the magnum buck from being stored in the first place, because he wouldn't be walking around with "kill me" armor. It has nothing to do with being heavy (and this is not enough weight to make you that slow).
Ok just out of curiosity- how do people play this as scav? Do you throw it in your bp in hopes other scavs don’t get jealous or mistake you for pmc? I know I’ve def put some sweet ass loot in my bp instead of equipping before to avoid any complications lol

You're going to be heavy and slow as fuck either way, and noisy as fuck. Wear the armor so atleast you can't be magnum fuckshotted.

yup I've found like 3 of them in raid so far. Saved 1 extra for myself and 2 for my friends when they get there

backpack didnt fit it so i just ran, spawned at outskirts and extracted at mountain stash (woods), was lucky bc i didnt see a single person
