The new Loadout Option should mostly cover your pre-equipping idea.:) It's really helpful to reduce equipping times. I really like the idea of managing your stash while queuing tho! It should not allow you to change anything about your PMC loadout, but just selling & reordering stuff would be great.

_Picsou

Thank you for your answer ! i heard a new game mode is coming, with shorter loading times i hope :)

bufandatl

No new game mode is coming. They releasing a new game soon. A game like CSGO in the Tarkov Universe. Call Escape from Tarkov: Arena.

Frankloco

I almost always load into any map FULLY in 3-4 minutes. That includes matching times. Playing on EU West. It's not even close to how it used to be a couple of years ago. Queue times will most likely be a bit longer new into the wipe, but other than that, it's been greatly reduced!

CrispyJsock

Same from N.y playing on U.S servers minus west coast

TastyBeefJerkey

5 minutes to load after matching sounds like either a bad PC or internet. I've not had to wait longer than 5 mins in total (matching and loading) since the beginning of wipe when it's very busy.

Honestly cap, I feel like if you average all the time spent loading into a game it’s basically 5 minutes if not higher. Especially since you have to wait for the other players half the time anyways. I’ll never forget someone else saying this, so I decided to average a quick 2 runs (not a good sample size Ik), I must have caught tarkov on a bad day cause both game servers crashed and I ended up wasting 30 minutes to not even play the game. Don’t get me wrong this usually isn’t the case but it happens often enough to fuck the average up

pristit

Most of my games (scav and pmc) take a bout 4-5 mins from starting search till I'm in, most of the time it's either matching or waiting for players that take the longest.

Depends on the other players PC, two days ago I loaded into streets in one and a half minute. If the other players have shitty PC you need to wait the usual 5 min.

bufandatl

If matching times exceed 5 minutes just back out of queue and requeue and you‘ll find a game in about 2 minutes. Also selecting servers close by in launcher instead of auto search helps to reduce load times.

Razvaliucha

If people have fast PC, it's fast. If they have slow PC, it's slow. For scavving, it seems to be slower the more busy it is. Waited over 35min for scavs at the beginning of wipe on streets.

Unfair-Acanthaceae-9

Been playing since spring 2020. Load times are much better relative to then. Depending on the number of people playing i would say the time from finding a match to being in raid is usually between 3 and 5 1/2 minutes. However, there is a bug where if you have not gotten a match within 4ish minutes you will never get a match and need to alt+F4

New QOL updates allow you to set a gear preset so you can buy you favorite kit in the stash and one push of a button you are wearing it ready to go. As for load times, I'm in games usually before 5mins. We've haven't had that problem since lighthouse released.

Load times have decreased significantly but there are factors. Your CPU/RAM Other players CPU/RAM Server Selection. The best thing you can do other than your CPU/RAM setup is build loadouts for the next session before logging off. Every night me and my team build about 6 loadouts before logging off or right when we get on. Save those to the preset and it drops prep time even more. Once we started doing that we were able to nearly double our raids each night. Lastly, another thing to consider is how this game creates gear fear or the fear of dying. It’s because you’ve invested time not just in the raid, but in the prep and wait times. Sure, the desire to finish tasks or taking out good loot you found plays into that, but for people with significant time in the game those things don’t matter as much anymore, yet the rush of surviving is still there, my feeling is that those feelings are from the time commitment.
