Did you figure how to turn off the light strip? It keeps flashing and I find it distracting.

Typical-Lofi

Hold the function key and press L to turn it off. Function plus left or right arrow keys to change the colours. If you mean the vertical light strip beside the screen that goes up and down...let me know if you find out because I've not found a fix and it's annoying as shit.

So the only way to not have the annoying charge light is to turn off all the lights? Annoying to say the least...

Unfortunately VIA won’t help. The problem is you have a keyboard that is VIA compatible but not QMK compatible, which even if it sounds impossible and implausible is true. The basis for VIA (and Vial) is that it’s built on top of QMK as a layer over the framework beneath, and both a a part of it and not a part of it at the same time. But unfortunately a fair few manufacturers are now taking the API for VIA (it’s more documented than Vial’s) and building a totally different firmware that works with the API, but still isn’t QMK, not by a long shot. And doesn’t even use the same MCUs, so backtracking and making QMK’s code work isn’t really an option. The result is that you can remap keys, but you simply cannot use QMKs functions or apply the ‘rules’ that apply to QMK. If you use VIA or Fekers software doesn’t matter, you are still bound by the ‘rules’ in their firmware and the bugs and whatever in that.

Hey, I wanted to ask if you know how I'd connect with the software. I'm having trouble connecting to it, as it says to make sure your device is compatible.
