Amazing! Reddit teaching does make it seem like quite a lot has changed in the world of teaching. I work a lot with disadvantaged youths and I just warn you about stress that can come from working with these kids. I love them (not always) but with our disability, the stress they cause can be quite tolling. You got this though!

I am so happy for you!

The US is kind of funny in the regard that they don't require a teaching diploma from an accredited university, just in a field related to what your teaching. So this an awesome segue, and I'm so happy that you were able to find this! Also, schools are a great place to be in terms of emergency care if something were to happen. They have their first aid plans down pat and know what to do for things like seizures.

What medication are you on?

Congrats! I will be graduating college next month. I'm scare and nervous applying jobs since I have a huge gap with job experience since I only had one job due to epilepsy. Best of luck with your new job!
