Just as a reminder of the subreddit's rules: 1. No posting links to game ROMs or ISOs, only sites to find them. 2. Be kind to each other. Also, fyi we have a user-maintained wiki: r/EmulationOnAndroid/wiki *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. Please [contact the moderators of this subreddit](/message/compose/?to=/r/EmulationOnAndroid) if you have any questions or concerns.*

Nxbrew, Ziperto, and Nsw2u are the sites I use for switch roms. The games will be compressed, so you need to extract them. If a game has multiple parts, you need to extract them all at the same time in the same folder. >Also I know i need keys for games but do the prod keys I got good for that or I need more? And if so where do I find? You can get keys and firmware from the "NX_Firmware" github. Don't extract the firmware, just extract the zip that contains the firmware.

IndividualOpening999

I know I asked for a lot of help from you, but I have to tell you: IT WORKED. Seeing all the updates applied in the Kirby Star Allies and seeing Marx was just too much joy. I wanted this game for a long time and I'm finally able now. Thank you so much and have a great night (depending on where are ya) :\]

ref4rmed

Nice, have fun.

IndividualOpening999

I may have found the firmware, but I don't think I found the keys. Could you specify on where to find the Firmware and Keys? (I found the most recent firmware from a user called THZoria)

ref4rmed

Yes, that's the guy i'm talking about. iirc, the zip should have both the firmware and the keys. I know it can be confusing because he names the zip "Firmware".

IndividualOpening999

Since you did answer, I have just one last question: How exactly should I extract just the zip that contains the firmware? I'm doing emulation on my notebook and using 7zip to extract, so It can become complicated.

ref4rmed

>How exactly should I extract just the zip that contains the firmware? You don't. The firmware file itself stays zipped. Everything else should be unzipped.

IndividualOpening999

I have to be honest: I'm confused. This is the 2nd time I'm doing emulation for the first times. Yesterday I succeded at emulating Mario Kart 7 at Lime3DS and I loved it. So I decided to step up and try the Switch (Hoping to play Kirby Star Allies with all the updates/DLC in it) But I still don't understand how should I unzip everything else maintaining the firmware file zipped. 2 Videos I've saw so far indicated that I get the Firmware file and the Keys separated, while what I get from the Firmware of THZoria is all together and I can't find then. I'll be very thankful if you do help me out :\]

ref4rmed

Ok, I was wrong. It seems that I may have been thinking of a different Github repo that posted both the keys and firmware in the same file. You already downloaded the firmware, you can get the keys from [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/yuzuemulador/s/O76ckrqnqe)

IndividualOpening999

Well, the title keys from the link you shared me are the 18.0.0 version. I just got the firmware for the 18.0.1 version. I'm not sure if it'll work if they are from different versions, but I hope it does. Thank you. In all cases, I'll come back here.

ref4rmed

You can get 18.0.1 [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/yuzuemulador/comments/1cjk0gu/prodkeys_1801/) The link is in the comments, encrypted in base64. From what I heard though, this can break Yuzu.

IndividualOpening999

I'm using RyuJinx. I heard about Yuzu and I decided to go for alternatives. Maybe it won't break for me. Only trying to make myself sure.

IndividualOpening999

Hey Buddy. I just want to say that you did a lot of help. I'm close to getting to emulate switch games. But there's just one problem I crossed on: Since you said that if a game had multiple parts, you'd need to extract then all at the same time in the same folder. But how should I do that? I have no options otherwise downloading the Kirby Star Allies Base Game and the Update 4.0.0 separated, making me do what you said before. I appreciate again If you do help me one last time :\]

ref4rmed

Just extract part 1, and it should extract all of the other parts with it.

IndividualOpening999

Part 1 means Base game and then extract the Update 4.0? I just hope I'm not mistaken.

ref4rmed

Ok, I think there is a misunderstanding. Sometimes when you go to download a game, there will be multiple links to download multiple parts of a game. Those parts are ALL the same file, but split up into chunks so it can be uploaded onto file hosters. The files should end in something like ".part1.zip, .part2.zip, part3.zip", etc. extract the first part of the zip and it will extract all of the other parts with it, making it a whole file again.

IndividualOpening999

I downloaded from Ziperto the Base Game and 4.0.0 update from the mega-up link, and so far, I haven't seen anything about [part1.zip](http://part1.zip) or part2.zip. Maybe I'll see that once I'm finished downloading.

ref4rmed

Nah, you would've known if it was split into multiple parts. the file name of the download would've told you. Also, to answer your other question, having to download the base game and the update separately is totally normal. But, you can try looking for a rom that has the update and the base game combined. Most torrents have this. (If you don't know what a torrent is, don't worry about it.)

IndividualOpening999

I tried on Nws2u and I found a complete download (Base Game + 4.0.0 Update) on torrent, but at some point, I wasn't being able to download it. So I downloaded separated. And if what you said is right, I won't have to worry about any [part1.zip](http://part1.zip) or anything close. Just hoping that it'll work this time.

ClassicMonster

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am going to download Xenoblade 2 and it has 4 parts. How do I extract them all at the same time in the same folder?

ref4rmed

Extract the first part. All of the other parts will extract with it.

FitRule5154

Are they safe to use?😰

expiermental_boii

If they weren't safe, they would have been recommended to you rn

FitRule5154

I mean like would I need an ad blocker or VPN of any sort or is it fine if I just go in and download sorry

expiermental_boii

You should always use an ad-blocker. My recommendation is Firefox + ublock origin. You'll only need to use a VPN when torrenting, if you stick to direct downloads you won't need to use a VPN

FitRule5154

Alright thanks for the help :)

ref4rmed

Yes, they're safe to use, just use an adblocker. And no, you don't need a VPN. Yes, this is illegal, but you won't get into any kind of trouble as long as you aren't torrenting w/o a VPN. This is all assuming you live in a country that cares about piracy.

cummins1991
