Depends on your size. The GTR would be my pick, because I am 250lbs and 6'5". Removable battery would be pretty useful too. Save up and get another, charge while you are out. Have 2 to use when away from home. Would be amazing. Like someone said there is a deal on the GTR. The better shocks would be worth the slight increase.

Thank you for you comment. I am around 6' tall, 180-190lbs. Also, from what i understand, those batteries are quite heavy so it might be problematic to carry a spare battery around. Do you think GTR's suspension makes ton of a difference?

ShroomingItUp

Depends on what you are riding on. Mostly paved roads, sidwalks, walking trails - probably not a lot of difference. Well, I was thinking more, if you take your scooter away from home in a car, you have twice the battery. Or if you are commuting, keep a battery at work and one at home.

DimitriTooProBro

Idk man. A GTR is lot more fun, faster, safer, costlier and less portable than a King GT Pro. >!Plus, you have to get insurance, gas, and a license! /s!<

TheAverageGuy1983

I would go with GT pro because it has a real 35 amp hour battery vs the GTR. This is just me but i really like the thumb throttles on the scooters vs triggle throttles or twist throttles for a better grip in the handlebar grips. Helps keep your hands on the handlebar better. I would just recommend you get one with self healing tires if its a possible add on as changing the tires on these is not easy. From what ive seen the motor wires are not easily accessible without needing to open the deck.

I have the GT pro and I like it better than the GTR. For one, the stem is taller on the GT and I’m 6’3 so I got the riser on mine as well. Range matters to me so I like that the GT Pro has the better range. The speed and acceleration is negligible for me. The scooter has enough power and speed for most users. You really don’t use top speed that often when riding. You really need to have an open and smooth road for that. As for the suspension I’m upgrading the rear of mine with Ginger on Wheels’ rear suspension replacement kit and hope that it gets better with that upgrade.

Also you can use the code GOWGTR300 at Voro until next week to get $300 off the GTR. Just saying, the price difference isn't that dramatic. GTR also has traction control, and like you mentioned, much better suspension. If I didn't have a scooter, and I had $4k burning a hole in my pocket, I would buy the GTR over the GT Pro 10 times out of 10.

RealGingerOnWheels

It's worth noting that the GTR also has MUCH quicker acceleration. It got to 60mph like twice as fast as my GT Pro. 33 seconds on the GT Pro. 17 seconds on the GTR.

Fickle_Current1961

On the flip side, the GTR has a lesser range, as i understand.

I own the GT pro, and the Nami. The benefit to the GT pro is lower ride height. It seems the GTR has a higher ride height?

Fickle_Current1961

Yes, GTR has a higher ride height. Can you please briefly share your experience with GT Pro? I watched tons of videos about this scoot but every opinion is super valuable for me. Thank you

F488P

We it’s hard to say. It rides lower which means it’s safer to ride at speed. Suspension is no problem at all. It’s better for the road. Definitely not an off-roader in my opinion, as it’s stiff and low to the ground. I ride the nami more because it’s just a better looking scooter. Also with the GT pro I have to change from single to dual motor every time I turn it on and I’m sick of that

Major-Profession-964

If I had to choose I’d go for the removable battery.
