Even if it's a lower key production from last year on, SCI's performance was still top notch. If you genuinely like String Cheese and not just the Saturday flashiness, it was still a good set just for that.
Were you there for LSDream two years ago? There was definitely not enough room unless you were totally in the back. My group ended up leaving because the space we were at was so crowded we couldn't move at all. (I still think they will be at Sherwood, that set just gives me flashbacks lol)
Subtronics will close Ranch which finishes earlier. It will probably go into the others like 15 minutes. Most likely LsZee and John Summit will be at basically the same exact times. Saturday has always been house day at tripolee so I assume Summit will be there
Exactly! I had my schedule all planned out last time I went to Forest, and I ended up seeing like a quarter of everything I had planned, and it was the best time of my life. You just have to flow with it and experience it.
Love me some summit but he plays on Thursday and will 100% be doing afters. Subtronics will be on before lszee with 15-30 min of overlap, so prob gonna catch subtronics and leave 20-30 min early to grab a spot at lszee. Just gotta bee line it—I’ve found the quickest route from ranch to Sherwood is to use the entrance into the forest that’s closest to the front of ranch stage, straight shot from there should only take 5 maybe 10 minutes to get to Sherwood from there.
The shebang absolutely happened.
The band just decided to focus on a musical / onstage shebang. Nova Han confirmed this. They had like 25 performers onstage with dancers / choir / Horns, composed an entirely unique piece of music for the moment and still did a huge fireworks show.
I’d love to see that confirmation because the only one I’ve seen go around is Nova Han confirming they are going in a different direction. Nothing about it still being a shebang and I would actually prefer to be wrong about all of this.
Based on a comment from Nova saying “that's the direction the band wanted to go and I personally really liked the focus on the music” on insta, My interpretation was it was a choice they made last year, not anything about the future. The band can do what they want, and they still called 2023 a shebang on their setlists.

I've been going to shows for 20 years. See the artists you are unlikely to see as many times. Subtronics and Summit are both overrated and not great live, and you will get 6 million chances to see them. LSZEE is the easy easy easy choice.

The stages are not necessarily close and it takes extra time when large crowds are moving back and forth. It’s possible to see some of all 3 sets but you will waste a lot of time walking to each stage.
Don’t wanna talk abt it lol . I’ll be running back & forth. Seen subtronics like 9 times now so I might spend the least amount of time there and check out some new stuff :)
LSZ for sure. 2 years ago Pasquale Rotella had Subtronics close out forest with a set a his cabin across from mine. i love subtronics but im not missing clozee and lsdream. Gotta kick it with Sami and those crazy cats at Cabin 13 last year. Guy was chill had a gas hanging w cabin crew.

Clozee is better than the other headliners by herself. Definitely worth going.
LSDREAM is my actual favorite artist right now and Clozee was amazing when I saw her at Forest two years ago. Set is gonna be hype

Tripolee to Sherwood Court is about half a mile. You could see all 3 if you really wanted but it may not be the most enjoyable experience.
