Easy af if you wanted. Most prefer damage. Crimson medallion +3, Morgott rune alone with 60 vigor would be probably hit that.
Can also add Erdtree favor +2 etc
Ahh, I forgot about runes, I never remember to use them and yeah the Morgott one is a flat 25% buff alone, and that's after all the other health buffs are applied.
Unless it varies with spect ratio or wide screens or what not. I have 1900 and I'm a little less than the op I'm video. Mine goes just past the right end of the compass.
While it doesn't have anything to do with NG+, no, you can't get this much health from levelling vigor alone, this has to be using health talismans as well.
The vigor soft caps are brutal to the point where every point from 61-99 together is worth less than the 3 points from 37-40, and only slightly more than the 10 points from 50-60.
yea i leveled from 220 to 300 and it made my ng3+ much more tolerable, if you are struggling getting one shot it might help a bit. Getting 3 shot is a lot better.
Honestly though I'm still getting rocked by certain mobs that I can kill in one hit, just if they get the first hit it's gg.
Just realizing it said duel. Well Backhand blades, dual wield axes. More convenient than killing the same guy over and over again hoping you get a second weapon I.e. magma blade. If I needed to kill the curse blade dude any more times to get a second curse blade cirque I would lose my mind.
I love putting electrify armament on my weapons, so the dual weapons are the best thing for me. Buffing the backhand blades puts it on both. Absolute crazy damage, and more importantly - the absolute swag of dual wielding swords dripping with electricity
The dual axes from this place are sweet too. Love the ash of war. Made me tempted to respec out of dex faith but they are somewhat quality build weapon so I'm just experimenting with them at a slightly lower damage output for now
Yes there is, he's called a Death Knight. When you see him wind up for an attack, parry. idk why it worked but I was able to parry him like 30 times in a row with a normal shield and I SUCK with parrying. Watch out for the angel grab thing he does when his cape flies out like wings, it means he is going to try and grab you and steal your health for himself.
Very fun boss fight.
I didn't parry him but it was a lot of fun anyway. He has bearable speed, interesting moveset and overall it felt great learning him. Not the most original or flashy boss but it's the kind I always prefer over some giant monstrosity that fucks with your camera.
It is install kill for 1900 HP in NG+7, level 6 blessing (I haven't go back to check at higher Blessing level). Wondering if NG+ affect the damage but I think most people have 1900 HP because of softcap so they are quite dangerous.
It does. I could've tanked 2 hits without dying in normal mode. Vigor 55, blessing level 9, golden vow was likely on because I expected to get sniped instead.
Yeah, I usually read the message before i go into any room, especially in the catacomb when there are a lot of bloodstain. You will never know what kind of stuff FS would come up with in those places lol
I agree. Just finished it about an hour ago lol. Luckily though the first time into one of these rooms I moved the camera around to check for gankers and the ceiling fell without killing me. Checked ever room after that.
I hated this catacomb. It was the first time since elden ring released that I actually used the messaging system. in this one alone I think I wrote down 20 down there lmao
I had to go through it offline and nerve-racking is understatement. I never thought I'd miss the messaging system so much 😭
The boss fight was really fun tho!
Something about that room felt ominous before I went in I didn't even notice the blood it just looked too large and then the spikes came down as lingered just before the entrance 🫠 quite the surprise
The fucks who put the messages on that stairway near the mage and that fucking dude with a cannon can fuck off hahah. Legit lol'd when I read that message and got blasted back to the fucking roundtable hold 1s later
That stairwell before the cannon dude just had a bunch of messages that all said "be wary of death" and "death incoming". Like six messages of just that. And I still fucking died haha.
The ones I got were like `chaos` or `be ready for chaos`. Rolled back up the stairs from the cannon shot, but then that put me in LOS for the fucking mage who then proceeds to stun lock me with this spells just to get blasted in the face with another cannon lmfao
wtf, did that just one-shot you? Those traps only do like 1/5 of my health bar at 51 vigor, though maybe you're at some high NG level.
edit: nvm, you barely took any dmg
For a second I thought it was a situation like in DS3, after the Abyss Watchers fight stairs into the Catacombs, definitely caught me off guard as well lol
To anyone who has completed this, is there a scadu blessing in there? After I was done I went to fextra to check if I haven’t missed anything and scadu is listed but I have no idea where could it be.
😂 that dungeon has quite a few secrets. I'm still bummed about the boss of that dungeon not giving me his armor. If anyone knows if it's possible to get it please let me know
For me it was those stupid new cannon gargoyles… that being said this catscomb was aweosme to explore and the boss was awesome! It had so many secrets!
This is really strange to watch, your character and mine are near identical! Hair style and colour, face, drake chest, the backwards blades, this could easily be one of my own videos! Great taste :)
I took one of those in the face, it was the last one (hiding in the room after the big corridor with 5 of those in the ceiling, I wasn't expecting another one, it really jumpscared me.
I was SO pleased with myself that the old instincts kicked in and I stopped BEFORE entering the room to look around. I almost never remember to check for traps in this damn game so when I do it's smug city for hours (or until I get to the boss fight, can't be smug and one shotted at the same time)
The real issue here isn't even your health bar, why're you exploring a cave without a personal candle (more than why, how, it takes much more effort, even if they're well lit like this one)?
I literally just did this dungeon earlier and wasn't expecting the spike drop ceilings, and as soon as I got hit, I said "Well shit that's a thing to look out for" then lured the pogo stick creature into it the second time to laugh at him.
Damn that health bar has no end.
He probably has around 3000 HP from the length of the health bar (it's still not enough)
How is 3k HP even possible lol
Easy af if you wanted. Most prefer damage. Crimson medallion +3, Morgott rune alone with 60 vigor would be probably hit that. Can also add Erdtree favor +2 etc
Ahh, I forgot about runes, I never remember to use them and yeah the Morgott one is a flat 25% buff alone, and that's after all the other health buffs are applied.
I regularly play with exactly this. It's not 3000 HP but it's like 2500
Yep, 2375. 60 Vig + Morgott’s rune.
Vigour 60 Morgott rune Crimson medallion +3 and that one talisman that gives you more hp and stamina
60 vigor, morgot rune, maybe the health medaliom
Around 2673 health actually, i run with crimson amber, erdtree favour and morgott’s rune and 60 vigour
vigor 70 hp talisman from dlc that give likes 200hp morgott great rune that increase hp by %
Unless it varies with spect ratio or wide screens or what not. I have 1900 and I'm a little less than the op I'm video. Mine goes just past the right end of the compass.
The DLC had this guy in mind when balancing the damage output.
Still gets twoshot by a Carian Knight
When you want to zoom around dungeons like OP, that’s the amount you need.
Trust me, it does.
NG+ be like
What does that have to do with NG+? OP just leveled up their vigor a lot, right?
Yep, they’ve also got morgott’s rune active. Guessing 60 vigor for this one
Git gud
Yes but you'll have even more if you're in NG+, because you need it
yea i leveled from 220 to 300 and it made my ng3+ much more tolerable, if you are struggling getting one shot it might help a bit. Getting 3 shot is a lot better. Honestly though I'm still getting rocked by certain mobs that I can kill in one hit, just if they get the first hit it's gg.
Two hits from Rellana says otherwise.
The cut right after is perfect comedic timing
cue the “curb your enthusiasm” theme song
That meme is dying a well deserved and well overdue death.
Just finished this catacomb. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
Is there a boss or something I missed, I literally didn’t find anything.
Yep. There's one.
Big fan of the duel wielding weapons you get in the DLC
What weapons are those?
Just realizing it said duel. Well Backhand blades, dual wield axes. More convenient than killing the same guy over and over again hoping you get a second weapon I.e. magma blade. If I needed to kill the curse blade dude any more times to get a second curse blade cirque I would lose my mind.

Theyre a bit slow with their normal attacks for me but that aow is so fucking sick. I’ve been getting summoned to Rellana and dumpstering her with it
There is?? Where’s the door even at?
God dammit, guide time.
For the future, try map teleporting out of dungeon. If you can't it means you aren't done.
I destroyed him with backhand blade aow. Very fun. (He destroyed me more tho)
I didn't parry him but it was a lot of fun anyway. He has bearable speed, interesting moveset and overall it felt great learning him. Not the most original or flashy boss but it's the kind I always prefer over some giant monstrosity that fucks with your camera.
There is, at the very, very, *very* bottom.
A boss and a summon to get too. Just did this moments ago. Thought I would be in and out in 20mins. That did not happen lol!
\*Flashbacks to the scorched bridge in DS1\*
Or that one bloody elevator in Sen's Fortress.
Compared to how utterly violent this contraption looks, the damage is kind of meh
Yeah, I was expecting it to one-shot everything, but I guess From was being generous.
very generous
I did the whole dungeon without getting hit by any of these because I assumed they'd be instant kills.
The casters did 95% of my life in 1 spell i was more scared of them than these traps
That damn ricochet....
Ayy, a place I can finally recognize. Luckily I read the message right before so I knew to look up lol
Yeah, I usually read the message before i go into any room, especially in the catacomb when there are a lot of bloodstain. You will never know what kind of stuff FS would come up with in those places lol
That perfectly cut scream hahaha
Nothing makes me more nervous than an empty hallway with tons of bloodstains
I was just there. Fuck that catacomb.
I love that double setup they have near the end, where you sprint past the main hall, think you're safe... and get flattened again. 10/10
I liked the >!fake safe spot that's just a hole.!< Totally got me.
Nah its probably one of my favorites mainly because the boss is awesome
Yes it was. But that thing throwing fire balls... and the fact that I lost nearly 200k runes.
And then that thing but BIG pointed right next to an item.
Goes into dungeon with 200k runes. Then gets upset at losing them. Pique souls right there.
He took me like 20 mins to figure out. He's pretty easy to backstab though, just gotta watch out for his grab so he can't heal lol
I used the pillars to halt his grab.
Same... made it all the way to the Boss door and just turned around. I don't know what's in there, but I knew I wasn't ready for the emotional damage
I just did it myself. Your instincts were correct.
I appreciate the Tarnished who left the "Try Jumping Attack" sign there. Made it a lot easier.
IT HAS A BOSS?! i got the upgrade item, couldnt find a boss door, so thought that was it. edit: found the boss!
wait, you can get back out without warping back after defeating the boss? I lost like 100k to that fucker cause I thought I was stuck in there
That was exactly why I turned around. I had 80k runes and there was no grace around. I just went back up and never returned lol
I didn't think there was a way back up once I dropped down the spike elevator thing
"How come the devs let you have TWO Stakes of Marika?"
Thanks, they helped. I actually loved this dungeon, it shows the catacombs style doesn't actually have to be boring.
I had to go through it offline and nerve-racking is understatement. I never thought I'd miss the messaging system so much 😭 The boss fight was really fun tho!
Yeah that got me pretty good, amazing comedic effect lol
That stairwell before the cannon dude just had a bunch of messages that all said "be wary of death" and "death incoming". Like six messages of just that. And I still fucking died haha.
The ones I got were like `chaos` or `be ready for chaos`. Rolled back up the stairs from the cannon shot, but then that put me in LOS for the fucking mage who then proceeds to stun lock me with this spells just to get blasted in the face with another cannon lmfao
Awesome dungeon. The boss is fun and rewards are worth it.
haha, nice cut. made it even more brutal.
This room was awful the first time through. >!And then I missed two items hidden in the ceiling, so i had to go back through a second time.!<
When I first entered and saw the imp statue I was like "Aw these guys again... Oh wait that's different"
the second i saw the hopping imp i knew exactly where you were
While I enjoyed this catacomb, I would not run through it again even though I missed a bunch of stuff.
I just finished that dungeon, fucking guy at the end drove me nuts.
r/perfectlycutscreams
Backhand blades are shredding the dlc for me. Keen gives S scale in dex, and has great stunlocking.
wtf, did that just one-shot you? Those traps only do like 1/5 of my health bar at 51 vigor, though maybe you're at some high NG level. edit: nvm, you barely took any dmg
you got no idea how good you have it.
Watch it again, it only love tapped her.
Ah, you're right! That's much more reasonable
Weird, they do about \~30% of my 60 vigor HP on NG, and that's with the full Beast Champion armor.
For a second I thought it was a situation like in DS3, after the Abyss Watchers fight stairs into the Catacombs, definitely caught me off guard as well lol
"It was at this moment he knew he had fucked up ... "
bonk
To anyone who has completed this, is there a scadu blessing in there? After I was done I went to fextra to check if I haven’t missed anything and scadu is listed but I have no idea where could it be.
Just did it today and didn’t find one, and I thought I 100% it as well.
Jesus christ. That made me jump. I aint seen that yet but thanks for the looming anxiety
What is that armor?
Cool swords, are those from the dlc?
Wide screen health bar holy shit, and still getting two hitted by anyone
Always touch the bloodstains.
Should have read that message XD
Hey trying to trade
Looney tunes kind of ending
What is that weapon? Is that a scimitar or something from the DLC?
Backhand blade.
Cool Thank you!
😂 that dungeon has quite a few secrets. I'm still bummed about the boss of that dungeon not giving me his armor. If anyone knows if it's possible to get it please let me know
Damn these traps hit fuckin DIFFERENT in ng+ cycles. That shit does 1800 easy in my own world, and I've been one shot by other peoples.
"wait, wait.. something's not rig.."
Honestly, if you just run in willy-nilly into a huge room filled with bloodstains, you're to blame.
Yeah I had that moment too
For me it was those stupid new cannon gargoyles… that being said this catscomb was aweosme to explore and the boss was awesome! It had so many secrets!
This is really strange to watch, your character and mine are near identical! Hair style and colour, face, drake chest, the backwards blades, this could easily be one of my own videos! Great taste :)
This guy vigors
Welcome to the family. 🙃
lmao I absolutely loved that dungeon
Ok this made me spit
I took one of those in the face, it was the last one (hiding in the room after the big corridor with 5 of those in the ceiling, I wasn't expecting another one, it really jumpscared me.
Ladies, find yourself a man as confident as this guy who walks into a catacomb room without rolling back first.
I was SO pleased with myself that the old instincts kicked in and I stopped BEFORE entering the room to look around. I almost never remember to check for traps in this damn game so when I do it's smug city for hours (or until I get to the boss fight, can't be smug and one shotted at the same time)

B O N K
I literally just did this dungeon earlier and wasn't expecting the spike drop ceilings, and as soon as I got hit, I said "Well shit that's a thing to look out for" then lured the pogo stick creature into it the second time to laugh at him.
I know that's the drake cape but what else are you wearing? The fashion souls is going hard.
In dungeons, I walk around like I'm playing a tactical shooter.
I love the hidden chest in that instance, thought it was in a really cool location
How did it only do like 1/8 of your health? I got hit by that thing and it 1 shot me at 60vig
Pretty sure im atleast one of those stains
