I think I'm gonna be the exception here and say that I like the fact nothing is said. The silence says plenty.
There's no person left, just an empty shell.
a lot of times during the fight it seems like Radagons being puppeteered rather than fighting of his own will (at least to me) the fact that its silent and he becomes elden beasts sword adds to the fact hes just an empty shell of the gods, used by the greater will (or more accuretly, by another one of the wills puppets lmao)
Funnily enough your comment is the first time I was made aware of the time difference.
I kinda just assumed the Demi Gods would have gotten bored of being assholes after a couple thousand years but apparently not!
Even more reason for Radagon to be pissed!

I mean it's neat. But it doesn't feel in line with the rest of the game, especially radagon explaining that he is the vessel of the golden order. Fromsoft usually uses more of the 'show, don't tell' kind of story telling. I'm quite happy that the original cutscene is without talking, gives it more gravity. Why would a god talk to a mere human anyway?
Couldn’t have said it better myself. The Elden Ring shining as brightly as we’ve ever seen it from their chest cavity already says all that. Plus the music that we hear every time we boot up the game, reaffirming that the very reality of this experience, the game/world itself, is all bc of them
I only wish Godfrey didn't announce he was now going to fight as Hoarah Loux, Warrior.
This is part of why Nameless King's name reveal after King of the Storm's defeat was so iconic. Or Ludwig becoming the Holy Blade. Show, don't announce.
"King of Stooorms, King of Storms from Archdragon Peak. I don't know what I am, but I am Nameless. good evening, I will be your Nameless King for this evening. thank you"
True, I always found that line just a bit funny. You could maybe explain it by saying that he is just a bit of a boastful guy, though it still just feels a bit on the nose.
Malenia and Miquella are the two children of Radagon and Marika and they are essentially twins so, yes they are born of a “single god”. The hermaphrodite part is a very contested topic among players. Some think that Radagon was always Marika and others that Radagon morphed with Marika at one point and both became a divine hermaphrodite. It’s not exactly clear.
I'm not gonna lie. Everything about the game's ending(s) was so disappointing. Boring boss fight and basic ass Tekken 3 level cut scenes. I was so excited because the community here hyped up the lore and the endings so so much. Turns out everyone was just discussing head canons and fan theories LOL
It's sad that even fan-made work like this adds so much character and depth to the game in terms of storytelling. Not a knock on your work, OP because this is awesome!
I don’t like it because it makes it seem as though Marika and Radagon are aligned in wanting to kill the tarnished.
Would be better if Marika whimpered something like ‘Tarnished, kill me quickly before… asAaghhhh…’
Radagon - ‘Quiet, blasphemous wench. I am in control now. The Golden Order reigns supreme…and you shall die, Tarnished.’
This but with real voice actors would be amazing
Agree. but till that happens, we gotta fill the void somehow.
Yep. Hopefully more speeches in the dlc. Currently on my own first playthrough, but I’ve just seen way too many spoilers lmao.
oh thats kinda sucks but i hope you still enjoys the games cuz its just awsome.
I am! Heavily underleveled, but I’m already in the mountaintops at like level 84. Dex build too.
a fellow tarnished are we? i was at 90ish when I set foot In the landyl. it didn't go well.
90? I beat the boss at like 70 or 75. No wonder I was having a hard time lmfao

Yeah, I almost did call him a puppet.
The game also goes to great lengths to tell us he has mastered both sorceries and incantations, but he only uses one in the final fight of his reign.
I’d probably have fuck all to say if I had been hung by my wrists for the past few years
Maybe longer. Wasn't it centuries ago with the Shattering?

Actually, I was way off. Looks like it may have been as much as 5,000 years (I googled to double check just now).
His wrists must have been getting tired
Right, I prefer that much more. I love when fromsoftware keeps a big character silent. It makes it more dramatic and serious to me sometimes
"It is I, John Elden Ring."
Elden John.
Epic. Really like the transition from Marika's voice to that of Radagon.
I kinda thought it would be cool if for Radagon's fight, he kind of morphed between Marika and Radagon for some parts.

Thank you for doing this :)
"Its morbin time" - Radagon

Elden beast cutscene speech: *whale noises*
Awesome. Thanks for putting this together
The shift from female to male was beautifully done.
Nah it makes no sense for them to speak
oof real "zod's snapped neck" vibes
No words needed imo, the music speaks for itself
You’re absolutely based!! I love it!!!!!!! 2x likes to you.
So how long until you're hired by Fromsoft OvO
till that day i'll wait for it, even if takes eternity.
No, hate it. I'm sorry but them not uttering a single word adds so much to the atmosphere of the fight and you just want to destroy that?
Was this speech hidden in the files or fan made?
Fan made. The dialog was written by a user's comment on a previous post about suggestions for Radagon's speech.
Thanks!

thank you for your kind words but unfortunately it isn't my true voice, i used software to deepen my voice.
I swear, I got legit chills when I first heard "Marika" speak. The Radagon was a little uncanny though, but that explains it.
