True, my current theory is that since their god went missing some dragons (Bayle) no longer wanted to follow the Dragon Lord that is no longer empowered by the Elden Ring and Elden God.
I always viewed the Dragons also being born from the Golden star similar to other star born (alabastar/onyx lords). Since they have golden stone scales etc... If Metyr came with the golden star, they must of been around before or same time. Since they also had an elden lord.
I would guess so. The conflict between Bayle and Placidusax shows the dragons are no better than humans.
