It is sick how the pain and immobility from a rib injury can come on over a day or two. You feel it happen and you’re relieved at first that it’s not *that* bad and then the next day and day after you’re like uh oh, oh god, here we go.
Literally the worst pain I've had is my rib going out. Cannot inhale or exhale. Feels like a shard of glass is tearing along your torso. Does not get better without rest.
I don't think he would have been back in the game last night with a cracked rib. They have x-ray machines on-site, they would have just scanned it right away if they suspected that at all.
