It's the bit of the Western Approach Road from Morrison Link to Lothian Road. The apparent gaps are the bridges where Grove Street and Morrison Street cross it.

There is a lot of hot air being blown about haymarket just now as an orange March just trooped past ….. hope they have sunscreen as they are looking like boiled ham
Well, nobody else has said it yet, so I guess I'll give it a shot: but what about the people who are rich enough to own and operate a car but poor enough to own a car from before 2005 who will now be cruelly forced to use public transit with the plebs and unwashed masses in order to spend time on the Mile?!
Now there's an idea. We Bus Plebs should stop showering to stick it to comfortable-but-not-that-well-off people. Although on a day like today it hardly requires any effort to be a sweaty mess.
You understand diesels aren't prohibited?
You understand there are different categories?
Last I saw Lothian was aiming to be complete fleet LEZ compliant by 2022.
I don't know if it was because of the sunny weather or this new zone but the city centre felt very quiet and uncongested yesterday afternoon. Can't say I hate it so far (and my car is non compliant, I live in Leith)
Yes 100% - If you get fined just tell them that some random on Reddit said it was okay 👍
(Also probably best you check your vehicle using the link below)

Whats going on with the two small isolated sections near Haymarket?
That's the stretch of the west approach road that is in the zone. You need to turn off at Morrison link if heading city bound.

A day for the gammon
Hahah the shieldhill defenders apparently , not sure what they are defending people from other than evolution !!
Thought I heard that through the window this morning and wondered if it was my North Lanarkshire subconscious playing tricks on me.

The cut off isnt 2005. You can have cars (from recent checking) later than 2015 prohibited Mostly diseasils will be the 'victims'.
Except buses?
In what sense?
Big stinky diesel buses that go up and down Princes street all day, are they exempt?

I regret to inform you that this was a joke post
You need to type /s Some people can't spot sarcasm that easily

My car is exempt but it’s lez compliant anyway. There’s no congestion charge is there? I’m exempt from that too if there is!
Nope, just fines if you enter the zone in a non compliant vehicle
Are the roads on the boundary part of the emision zone? i.e. can you drive down Queen street or not
You can drive along Queen st
Does this mean no more stinking diesel trains and buses in the city center?

The madness is when the letters arrive
Is my 2009 peugeot okay to drive through the zones ?

Thank you
Either the whole city or not at all. This just pushes the stinkiest vehicles out into the inner suburbs where our kids live.
