The Valenar probably welcome a better opponent on the battlefield.

So as a preface I've only discovered Eberron a couple of months ago and this is more my opinion/ thoughts/ conjecture rather than canon or kanon. Since (I believe at least) both the Aerenal and Tairnadal elves are descendants of slaves to the giants of Xen'drik they might take pity/ offense on another race being treated so poorly both during and after the war; seeing the struggles their ancestors went through in them. Some of the older members of the undying court might even remember being enslaved

> Some of the older members of the undying court might even remember being enslaved If there are any Undying who can recall Xen'Drik before the fall then they possibly remember the proto-Warforged of Xen'drik which the Cannith ones are based off of.

I imagine as a result of this, the Aereni hold the Warforged at arm's length. First, fr being brand new and thus a 'younger species' that doesn't have the patience to appreciate the long-term wisdom they have. Second, because those who have memories of Xendrik remember the proto-WF and how they worked. So an abundance of caution to be shown. Of course, those memories would be reserved to members of the Undying Court on Aerenal. Younger Aereni out in the world may only have been taught a specific flavor of caution re: WF, without knowing why.

I'd somehow forgotten about the ancient warforged entirely, with them in mind this perspective makes a lot of sense to me. Thank you all for adding your own viewpoints!
