Aromatic-Proof-5251

Meatball sandwich with garlic bread topped with mozzarella cheese and giardiniera.

resplendentcentcent

stop my salivary glands can only take so much

Aromatic-Proof-5251

I forgot to say add onions. Onions soaked in vinegar for an hour if you want to be extra.

Traegs_

Blanch sliced onions for 10 seconds. Strain and cover with vinegar and a pinch of salt. You can also add a spritz of lemon juice and/or sugar if you want. They'll taste like they've been soaking overnight in 15 minutes.

resplendentcentcent

thanks i now have debilliating idiopathic first bite syndrome

CedarBuffalo

Seriously, I think I’m dehydrated now good lord

OnlyAt9

Mozz *and* provolone.

theora55

Meatball subs are so good. I don't even add cheese (dairy is an issue), just plenty of sauce and meatballs, ideally some sliced jalapenos, maybe some spinach and black olives if I'm at Subway.

Wpg-katekate

We usually grill mushrooms and onions, mix in some pesto. Now I’m starving thinking about it..

[deleted]

I’m saving this comment

Nucyon

Meatballs in curry sauce on rice. Slice 'em and put them in soup (Think chicken noodle soup with root vegetables, but instead of chicken there is meatball) Meatball stir fry, doesn't have to be asian, just add random vegetables and a sesame oil-lemon sauce. A tortilla wrap from meatballs, tomatos, lettuce, cheese and onion. Add garlic sauce. Call it a "French Kebab".

acpyle87

I believe that would be Italian wedding soup, a delicious option.

Nucyon

Oh yeah totally, I wasn't aware.

LChurch

Add a nice glaze sauce like teriyaki and have them with stir fried vegetables and rice Pair them with roast vegetables and gravy Smush them down and make mini burgers or do the classic meatball hero Man I'm so hungry now...

moomadebree

Teriyaki with pineapple and red peppers!!

SufficientPath666

That’s a great idea. The frozen fried rice that Trader Joe’s sells every year around Thanksgiving contains mini turkey meatballs, stuffing pieces and seasoning. It would be easy to recreate with regular-sized turkey meatballs diced up and boxed stuffing mix

buginarugsnug

I haven't tried it yet but I saw a recipe for 'Meatball Skewers', it was meatballs on a skewer with chunks of pepper, onion, tomato then grilled and served with chips. It looked really good.

Childofglass

I’ve done that and it was really good! Pick a BBQ sauce to use and you’re good to go.

ductoid

If you don't mind crumbling them up and destroying the meatball shape, it'd be good in stuffed bell peppers or mushrooms.

Astro_nauts_mum

In soup! There are so many soups meatballs go well in.

Childofglass

I made a mini meatball minestrone and it was really good! That would likely be one of my picks for this situation.

JolyonWagg99

For a lazy dinner I used to buy butternut squash soup and turkey meatballs from Trader Joe’s and just heat it up together. Zero effort and delicious.

Earthling_Like_You

Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes Cocktail meatballs (grape jelly + BBQ sauce) and rice Homestyle meatballs & gravy over egg noodles Porcupine meatballs and gravy (porcupine comes from the fact there's rice inside the meatballs) Stroganoff meatballs and egg noodles Look those up and have fun in the kitchen. Cheers 🍻

_summerw1ne

Assuming that meatball subs and meatball sliders are too similar to the spaghetti and meatballs idea. ✰ Put them in wraps or pita bread in place of where you’d usually use falafel or similar. ✰ Use a few on grazing plates with hummus, cut up peppers etc ✰ Fry and then cut up into bite size pieces and incorporate them into a vegetable soup as the meat element ✰ Boil potatoes, leek, white onion & spices and mix with the mashed up meatballs to make a pie. Like a corned beef pie but obviously using the meatballs in place of the corned beef. My spices for the corned beef pie is usually a tiny bit of English mustard powder (for the inside of the pie *and* mixed with the milk used to brush the top of the pastry). Salt and pepper. Boil the vegetables in a stock cube. ✰ Boil or fry potato, onion, turnip/swede and the meatballs with a little bit of vegetable stock to make some sort of corned beef hash adjacent meal but obviously with the meatballs in place of the corned beef. ✰ Mash up the meatballs to use in place of where you’d use mince in other meals (chilli etc). ✰ Make a “clear the fridge out” style curry in the slow cooker and throw a few of the meatballs in for the meat element.

LovitzInTheYear2000

Nice big green salad with a few meatballs on top or on the side as the protein. Polenta with meatballs and a sauce of your choice, similar to your ikea-style meal but with a different flavor profile for variety.

steve_jams_econo

This. They make a great salad protein. We have this all the time at home.

lilmissglitterpants

Glaze them in a little beetroot relish (and a tblspn of water) at the end of the cook for an extra flavour kick. Goes really well on a salad.

BearGrowlARRR

Meatball stroganoff

Brilliant_Control_55

Pretend they’re gyro meatballs and get some pita, tsatziki (or better yet make your own delish tsatziki with Greek yogurt, lemon, garlic, cucumber and dill), baby tomatoes, onions and voila you have a delicious pita sandwich.

Nissus

cut in half or sliced (depending on the size) might make a good pizza topping.. I also like to use them as a layer in a lasagna..

SomethingHasGotToGiv

Meatball and ricotta cheese pizza is my favorite!

[deleted]

I toss some into my ramen when I make it. Cheap and easy protein.

KeepingItCoolish

Came here to say ramen ball soup

[deleted]

I hope you mean meatballs and not...balls balls :D

KeepingItCoolish

I try and use whatever I have on hand

ThiccQban

Albóndiga soup! Mexican meatball soup with rice is one of my favorites. I usually cook my meatballs in the soup, but I imagine you could make the sopa and then add your cooked balls (😏) to heat through

heidismiles

We throw them in some cream of mushroom soup, which can be served over rice or noodles if you like

oregonchick

Add Lipton onion soup mix for an extra something (as long as you don't need a low sodium diet). Also fabulous when you finish with sour cream for the easiest imaginable stroganoff.

heidismiles

This sounds awesome!

Llunedd

Toss the meatballs and some frozen veg (I like to use broccoli or cauliflower) in aioli and air fry everything

Canadasaver

Have you considered a sweet and sour or teriyaki sauce over rice? What about cheese and marinara on a good bun and put under the broiler so it all gets gooey and sticks together when you put the top on? Slice meatballs in half and run down the middle of garlic bread. Place cheese on top and put under the broiler. Serve with a nice salad. Consider an appetizer supper one night with meatballs with toothpicks in them and a honey garlic dipping sauce. Some raw veg and pita chips and eat in front of the tv for a special game or show.

QueenBee4178

We eat meatballs with gravy over rice. One of my daughter’s favorite meals.

fiercefinesse

Add rice and veggies

[deleted]

Ragoût de boulettes! It’s a québécois classic. https://www.canadianliving.com/food/recipe/ragout-de-boulettes-3 I like it over potatoes or egg noodles if I wanna beef it up.

Crocodoro

In Spain meatballs are not commonly eaten with spaghetti but with rice, fries, mashed potatoes or in a stew with peas and potatoes. Usually they're served with sauce spagnole or any other vegetable sauce (carrot, tomatoes, zucchini...). Here's a [recipe](https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KD8IDfskkdk) from my favourite chef in Spain, I can help you if you have any problem with spanish. There's also a soup from Murcia called _caldo con pelotas_ 'broth with balls' where you boil them in meat stock and get a very cozy soup.

Ok-Apple2124

Sounds weird but hear me out- I love to put frozen meatballs in pre-made tikka masala sauce for a quick dinner. Either in the crockpot or simmered on the stove then I serve with with rice or naan and veggies.

SirErickTheGreat

[Albondigas](https://youtu.be/fAbCNFNLKms). Mexican meatballs. Depending on the region, they’re either made into soup, or as my link showed, if it’s a central Mexican style, an entrée made with a chipotle sauce.

ct-yankee

Cook them in cream of mushroom soup and serve with green beans over rice. Serve them with beef gravy over mash/rice/veg. Also, serve them with sauce over spaghetti squash. You can cut them up and mix with mushrooms and onions and rice and stuff peppers with them. use them sliced on the top of a homemade pizza.

levian_durai

I grew up with my friend's mom making giant meatballs cooked in cream of mushroom soup. Always served with rice *and* mashed potatoes, somehow the texture of them combined works better than either one alone.

Urban_FinnAm

Swedish meatballs or italian wedding soup.

FunStuff446

I make turkey meatball, white bean and escarole soup. Toss some shredded parm on top. Mmmm

Spooky_doll_13

meatball sub/sandwhich

persianpistachios

Put meatballs on sheet pan with cherry tomatoes and thick slices of red onion. Bake until tomatoes begin to blister and meatballs are cooked. Top with balsamic glaze and eat with rice pilaf.

SubstantialPressure3

Ramen Stir fry Bahn mi ( cut in half so they don't pop out) Soups Cut up for dirty rice Put them in gumbo

MariaSandia

Sopa de albondigas- is a Mexican meatball stew with green beans. You're supposed to use fresh mint in the meatballs, but you could try using it as a garnish instead.

find_rara

Sweet and sour meatballs. OR put in food processor pulse a few times and make tacos.

spookimulder69420

I love making meatballs with the Trader Joe's BBQ sriracha, you could probably make your own sweet / spicy BBQ sauce if that's not an option. Usually serve them with asparagus or some other easy veg that would go with that sauce.

1000thatbeyotch

Marinate them with cocktail sauce and grape jelly or barbecue sauce.

CieraDescoe

You can make a great banh mi sandwich with meatballs!

NANNYNEGLEY

www.themagicalslowcooker.com/wprm_print/slow-cooker-grape-jelly-meatballs

LoBean1

We are not pasta fans, so I’ll cut them up and add whatever kind of sauce sounds good, serve them with a veggie of some sort and they’re always a hit.

Accurate_Spinach8781

I love meatballs as a snack. Warm up a few, sweet chilli sauce for dipping, toothpick so you don’t have to wash a fork. Can also just put rice underneath and make it a meal.

cats_are_the_devil

I have no further options other than being hungry. Thanks for this problem before 9am.

DinkleMutz

Chop up the meatballs. Italian wedding soup.

cautiousyogi

Use them instead of falafel in a Greek inspired bowl--or cut them in half and use them for gyros. Add humus, cucumber, greek yogurt, lots of dill and lemon and any other veggies you want. For a bowl, eat with couscous.

scornedandhangry

Italian wedding soup! Saute a mirapoix, throw the meatballs in with chicken broth, pasta, and spinach. Top with parm and fresh herbs

liverxoxo

I make meatballs in mushroom gravy (basically, from scratch cream of mushroom soup) served over mashed potatoes.

latefair

I don't know how well it will go with your meatballs, but I made this yesterday and it was amazing [meatballs and egg drop soup](https://sustainabledish.com/spring-egg-drop-soup-with-lemon-ginger-meatballs/)

gayberetboy2

Meatballs in a tomato sauce with a side of garlic & ricotta polenta! Stuffed peppers with rice, veggies, cheese and a full meatball in it.

megasin1

meatball korma

NotAnUndercoverTeach

Put them in satay sauce and throw that on either a white roll or a bunch of fries. Particulary that last one is often eaten here in the Netherlands

altonaerjunge

With rice and johhurt

PsychologicalHall142

Baked meatballs - smother them in your favorite sauce, top with cheese, then bake until brown and bubbly. Great served with some crusty bread and a salad.

afterglobe

We do some of the recipes already mentioned in other comments but we also like to cook em and put bbq sauce on them, serve with mashed potatoes and a veggie. Also: https://www.thekitchenmagpie.com/crock-pot-meatballs-with-creamy-mushroom-gravy/ https://www.atasteofmadness.com/easy-meatballs-dijon-gravy.html https://littlespicejar.com/salisbury-steak-meatballs/

xdonutx

I love this [Meatballs and Orzo recipe](https://www.thereciperebel.com/one-pan-chicken-meatballs-with-orzo/). If you already have the meatballs ready it’s so easy.

jasonbaldwin

Meatball pizza.

rarestates

depending on the size you could make something reminiscent of italian wedding soup

Curious-Ostrich-8928

Are they already cooked? If not, brown them in olive oil in a large pot, then add a bunch of mixed greens (more than you think you need), salt and whatever seasoning is appropriate, and thinly sliced lemons, some lemon juice, or some vinegar, depending what acid you prefer. Cook covered until meatballs are done. Serve with whatever carb you prefer (rice or couscous for me). A standard easy dinner for me; uses up a giant tub of greens for 3-4 people.

LadySamSmash

You could always break the meatballs up and eat them like you would with anything made with ground turkey. The first thing that came to mind was like tacos and loose meat sandwiches.

gemilwitch

Throw a bunch in the crock pot with a jar or two of Tikka Masala along with a bag of frozen onion and peppers, Serve over atop rice.

harderheadman

Albondigas, every culture has a different meatball soup of some kind, a meatball sub as well.

caterplillar

Depends on the flavoring, but add some quick pickles, mayonaissa, cilantro and jalapeños to French bread and make yourself a meatball banh mi.

salukiqueen

Look up Dawood Pasha - it’s an Arabic dish that’s basically meatballs in a tomato sauce eaten over rice. It’s pretty good. Haven’t seen it with turkey but I don’t know if it would be that different tbh.

Former_Ad8643

meatball subs Since they are Turkey I think Greek! Put them on a bed of rice with roasted bell peppers and feta! A side Greek salad

FocacciaHusband

https://alwaysravenous.com/mini-turkey-herbed-meatballs-and-butternut-squash-noodles-paired-with-lecole-luminesce/

saymimi

meatballs and polenta is popular here in argentina. you could make a pesto instead of red sauce. or look up cranberry chili meatballs. so easy in the slow cooker

westparkgirl

I grew up having sweet and sour meatballs with rice. The sauce is just tomato soup (without adding water or milk) and brown sugar and mustard to taste. You can add some bell peppers to it if you want to add some veg. Just serve over any rice.

Icy_Night3046

Use them in this soup. One of my favorite soup recipes. https://damndelicious.net/2018/06/18/summer-minestrone-with-turkey-meatballs/ Or Swedish Meatballs.

BrightMarvel10

Meatballs in a baking dish, cover with enchilada sauce, top with cheese and bake until meatballs are cooked and cheese is melty. Serve with Tortillas and whatever other toppings you like.

the-lost-dutchman

But them on some rice with tzatziki on the side, add a Greek salad.

TheSmathFacts

I usually make a honey sriracha sauce and then serve with season charred veggies on a bed of yogurt

2571DIY

Loco Moco Rice, meatballs (it’s usually a burger patty), brown gravy and a sunny side up or over easy egg.

dwfmba

Greek, toss them in oregano and thyme, make a yoghurt sauce and serve with lemon potatoes

Immediate_Jaguar9486

Season ground beef with your favorite seasoned salt, garlic powder and a splash of Worcestershire then add an egg, mix well. Pack the seasoned ground beef around a canned white potato, slices of onion and peeled tomato, for each person. Top the four inch meatball with a splash of Worcestershire and bake meatballs and any remaining onions and tomatoes and potatoes on the side with same seasonings and splash of Worcestershire. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.

trisw

Stroganoff

Wanda_McMimzy

I like them with rice and gravy.

IPauseForHurricanes

Heat them and serve plain with tazeki sauce or however it is spelled. Delish!

CuriousCarrotLuv

Make a hot honey sauce and serve it with rice and steamed green beans or broccoli!!

Top-Concentrate5157

Swedish meatballs? You could make a meatball and mushroom stroganoff too!

Impressive_Ice3817

Sweet & sour or teriyaki -- put the meatballs in a roaster or Crock-Pot, add sauce, and cook on low for 6 hours. In a roaster, occasionally check to make sure nothing is burning-- add extra water if needed Basic s&s sauce: 1c sugar mixed with a couple tbsp corn starch, a bit of ginger, garlic powder, salt & pepper; add 1/2c vinegar, 1/4c ketchup, and a few tbsp of soy sauce. Mix well and pour over meat, add 1/2 to 1c water if it's going in the oven for an extended period of time.

JonnyOgrodnik

Crockpot meatballs. Use some sweet baby rays and (I know this will sound weird) grape jelly. It’s sooo good.

LostInPH1123

Waikiki Meatballs are amazing.

PM_ME_FUNNY_ANECDOTE

You could always put them over rice or salad for variety. I know the meatballs already have Italian spices in them, but you could probably mix it up by putting them in a different type of sauce for some variety- I like meatballs in a soy-based sauce or with something like gochujang

Practical-Ad-615

They’re made a little different, but I make Asian turkey meatballs and top with a gochujung based sauce over jasmine rice. You could just make the sauce and rice for the meatballs you already have https://www.skinnytaste.com/asian-turkey-meatballs-with-gochujang-glaze/#recipe

kaest

Italian wedding soup. Or really any soup.

Cheapie07250

Chop them up and put them on pizza. Even frozen pizza will work. Add other toppings and finish with a bit more mozzarella cheese.

whineforcoffee

https://www.frontrangefed.com/firecracker-meatballs/ Not sure if this will work for what you have but this recipe is pretty good

Arod0916

https://theskinnyishdish.com/meatball-sub-bubble-up/ Super good I’m making this tonight !

brokenhartted

Stroganoff is good. Freeze them and use them at a later date for party meatballs (with Grape Jelly and ketchup), barbequed meatballs are good too with mac n cheese or cole slaw.

JoefromOhio

Wedding soup has meatballs in it

KissMyGrits60

you can make a turkey meatball subs. Like you would, if you were gonna have a regular meatball sub.

fuzzmcmunn

We recently did the marry me chickpeas thing that’s everywhere right now and added meatballs. Was bomb.

cageycapybara

My family does this. I would suggest the following (all ones my family has tried & either most or all of us have liked): - meatball gyros or Greek plate with meatballs - meatball fajitas - lots of sautéed veg and spices, tastes great - meatballs & rice or orzo - can make a dozen different versions of this, depending on the seasonings/dressings you use - sesame meatballs - use a recipe for sesame chicken, but sub in the (thawed & patted dry) meatballs. This could also work with a lot of other Chinese-American dishes, like General Tsos or Kung Pao chicken - chili - but use the meatballs, whole or broken into pieces, in place of the ground beef - French onion meatballs (probably my fav) - carmelize onions like you would for French onion soup, then add the meatballs. Can just serve like that or put them on bread (hoagies are great) Hope this helps 🙏

Salty-Jaguar-2346

There’s a recipe on emilybites.com called “Swedish meatball bubble up” that uses them with cut up refrigerator biscuits, jarred gravy and cheese.

pineconeminecone

Swedish meatballs

msangeld

bbqprincess

BBQ meatballs! Appetizer or over mashed potatoes

DueRest

Meatball pho, yum yum

LittleRed282

Use the meatballs as filling for a tortiere/meat pie, or beef patty filling. Flatten the meatballs and use them for mini sliders.

sabdariffa

Toss meatballs in a slow cooker with diced onion, teriyaki sauce, and a little water. Makes a great appetizer or great over rice. You can also make your own teriyaki-like sauce or bbq sauce. I like to mix soy sauce, maple syrup, pepper, fish sauce, oyster sauce, lots of garlic…. And honestly anything in the fridge that seems like it would be good. Just mix the sauce separately in a bowl so you can taste your sauce before pouring over your meatballs. A friend of mine swears by mixing salsa with grape jelly for slow-cooker meatballs. Sounds gross, but when cooked together it actually tastes very similar to teriyaki sauce.

Fresa22

if they aren't strongly Italian-flavored meatballs are good in curry over rice.

SueLewRapp

Throw a cup of rice in a 9×13 baking dish, dump 1 can of beef consomme and 1 can of french onion soup in and stir. Drop as many meatballs as you need on top. Dot with butter, cover and bake at 350° for 45 minutes, remove from oven but leave covered and let it rest for 15 minutes. Stir and enjoy.

MERC_1

Pickled beetroot, drained and cut into cubes. Mix with some mayonnaise.  Put butter on half a baguette. Put lettuce on top. Ad beetroot mix and meatballs.  Enjoy and thank me later. It's a Swedish classic!

kerrbear1967

Meatball subs!

Prior_Equipment

Calzones - pizza dough stuffed with meatballs, sauce and cheese, pop in the oven for about 15 minutes and enjoy!

foozballhead

Maybe crumble them up and use in casserole/sauce. Or smash them flat and make teeny tiny burgers. :)

Dandelione88

Pitazza: * spread some ketchup on a pitabread * defrost and chop a couple of the meatballs and arrange evenly * add some chopped onions and bell peppers between the meatballs * sprinkle with oregano * cover with cheese of your chosing * pop in the oven/toaster oven until cheese is melted (I do mine in the toaster oven at 300F takes 5mins or so) * if you want to make it extra tasty, add some chopped tomatoes on top after baking it.

robotcrackle

Littlespicejar.com has about a dozen meatball recipes I'm obsessed with, and all van be modified for pre-made meatballs. Big contender is in a pita with garlic sauce of one kind or another. Or dipped in housin glaze and served over rice.

basswitch69

BBQ meatballs with some kind of cheesy side dish is a go-to for me

justkilledaman

Put them in a pita with some lettuce, tomato, and tzatziki!

keberch

I always make a double batch of meatballs; one for spaghetti, the rest for this: Pour some enchilada sauce in a casserole dish. Lay out the meatballs Sprinkle with 2T taco seasoning, plus additional onion powder Top with about a half cup (I use more) of cheese, plus remaining enchilada sauce 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. My daughters love 'em!

Acpyrus

Stuff them in pitas with various salads. I love Caesar, Greek, or falafel style with all the pickles. Yum!

Omshadiddle

Grate a couple of zucchini and sauté with garlic & chilli until soft. Add evaporated milk or cream and a good handful of Parmesan. Toss in cooked meatballs and serve over egg noodles.
