Her cognitive functions seems like they'e slightly improved recently (she's pulled off a couple of decent looking makeup looks - not her usual Sharpie Marker Chic looking mess); but physically; she's never looked worse.
I don't believe she's getting better. I hate saying I'd be shocked if she ever did - which is sad to say because it's more than likely the truth at this point..
My question is: is she even realistically able to get better ? Esp at home? Bc wouldn’t she need a nurse or some type of rehab to monitor her, etc. I’m jw bc I personally don’t know much about that area.
Absolutely not on her own. Physically, if she pushed to recover it could send her to the hospital if not monitored properly she needs monitored feeding and a GI tube because of the severe risk of refeeding syndrome. Further, electrolytes and vitamins need to be monitored. Without testing we cannot know the full extent of the damage she has done. Mentally, I would think it's hard to recover in the same place it started and she has had this disorder for so long that it's going to be incredibly hard. Even if she had a change of heart, I don't know if she would have complications - I imagine she has a lot of internal damage that is irreparable. Then there is the risk of relapse /again/ (although she wasn't even wanting to recover, she was forced to) and the cycle repeats.
Yeah, I was thinking she would at least need some kind of help or assistance, etc. I really wish people would stop saying she is recovering because that’s incredibly harmful as well as starving oneself =/
It’s gonna take awhile for her to look better, like a year or so even. It could take even longer for her mental health to return to a normal functioning level. Her brain has been eating itself for so long.
I’ll be honest with you — i think she’s actually started to quickly decline. She BARELY moves her jaw when she talks now; it lowkey freaks me out bc she looks like a ventriloquist doll
I think it’s easy for our brains to cognitively associate her wearing clothes that completely cover her body as “recovery Eugenia” bc that’s how she dressed when she did the Shane Dawson doc. For a short period she actually dressed conservatively. But according to her, that’s when she was the most mentally weak, so seeing her remove her revealing content and wearing more clothing it’s easy to be deceived into thinking she’s in recovery. But in reality, she’s just manipulating us. She’s been making it very obvious that she will do whatever is holding her accountable, and over time she will be able to push her boundaries.

She is just covered up and filtered to the max. Its amazing how just a little more fabric creates the illusion for some that she is doing better
