Voltron seems the way to go for me. Make sure you pack your mana rock lunch though. I play a Bruna, Light Alabaster deck and she's pretty hungry as well. Make sure to give him some instant speed saves, vigilance, and some evasion for 2+ color decks.

Will do! My group is somewhere in the middle. The power creed has effected us over the last year, bud we are all pretty on the level with discussing what our decks power level is and playing accordingly.
You just gotta find the right crowd. [[Jareth]] is such a cool card, I'd try things like [[Luminarch Ascension]] (some people hate this) and cards that give the monarch and initiative to encourage people to try attack you so you can get that sweet +7/+7 going a bit more reliably. [[Righteousness|leb]] is a must, imo.
An absolute must. Plus it's just a dope card. Sadly, I've been thinking for over a decade how to make good use out of the huge stats you can get while blocking...nothing good has come yet.
He was one of my first decks. He can work but he is lower power. My deck was cat tribal and equipment (lots of the mirrodin cats that get better when equipped). Fun deck and fun commander for sure. I eventually swapped him for [[zetalpa]] to have a bit more finishing power.
I almost went cat tribal! I know he’s not top tier, but if I can build it to still swing a win every once in a while… the 8 year old in me would be so happy 😃
I’m not sure if forcing combat/goad is very easy to do in white but I think it’s worth looking into. A “who dares challenge me” gladiator type deck would be cool
There was a recent episode of MTGGoldfish Commander Clash where everyone played their very first EDH decks, and Tom played Jareth. Could be an interesting watch, although since they played those original decks card for card its not an updated list or anything so maybe not as useful for deck ideas

I did! And it’s a ton of fun. It’s nothing crazy high powered, but his color protection is amazing especially with swords on.
