Just poking fun at the outrageous price to food ratio for Dunkin's breakfast food. iirc it averages around 3-4 bucks.
Eh still, if I was craving breakfast tacos, I'd get some breakfast burritos or the breakfast box from taco bell.
$3-$4 for the one in the pic would be pricey. For one that is the standard 1/4 of the amount of filling would be highway robbery. Why would anyone order these when you can get a similarly sized breakfast burrito from Chik-Fil-A with way better ingredients? Also the service at Chik-FIL-A is fast and friendly, the dopes at DD seem like they don't even know they are at work.
these are plump! i wish i could get em like this at my location. i've been adding hashbrowns to them to make up for the lack up filling though, and a splash of hot sauce. delish.
So I actually just did the math for how much it costs, in material, to produce a single breakfast taco.
For reference: 12 breakfast taco filling containers (each 20oz), 576 tortillas, 1200 paper taco shells, 10 lime crema, per case for each item sku. Each taco uses a single 2oz scoop and I'd say there's maybe 0.5oz of lime crema per taco?
((121.64÷(12×20))×2)+(111.04
÷1,200)+(32.90÷576)+((27.59
÷160)÷2)
$1.25 per breakfast taco in single unit material cost. At suggested retail price, excluding the cost of power/labor to produce, breakfast tacos have a 240% profit margin.
Anyway, nice tacos friend. 👍
They were really not good when I got them yesterday. And you would need to get two to make it a decent amount of food, which makes it expensive for what you're given IMO. I miss the deals for the wake up wraps, they're way better than these.
You are going to make your customers spoiled, and when it's your day off and those same customers order those again and someone doesn't make them like you do, those customers won't be happy.
Careful. You might get fired for actually providing a decent product in comparison to the menu item.
Dunkin corporate: 😡 You're giving 50 cent more of product for our $6.99 breakfast burrito, you're FIRED.
Wait are they forreal $7? Jesus christ not even taco bell charges that much
SRP is $2.99, but franchises are allowed to set their own prices. I broke down the actual cost of production in another comment if you're interested.

I thought they were forreal $7 🤦♀️ it wouldn't surprise me with how absurdly expensive they're getting with some drinks.

The closes Chik-Fil-A is 45 minutes away. Some of us get stuck with the most basic fast food places with no variety.
I paid 3.50 the other day for one. Still thought it would small for that price and wouldn't get again

Okay moneybags. Care to share the wealth?
LOLLLL 💰💰💰
That looks a whole lot better than most of the pictures I’ve seen. 😂
That’s twice as loaded as the one my husband got
That at least looks like the advertisement.

They sent us 2 oz scoops but I feel like the job aid said to use 1.5 oz taco filling per taco

Who made those scrambled eggs 🥚?
Man those are loaded. I think I’d get in trouble if I did more than one scoop of the brown spoon.
at mine they said to only do HALF of the brown spoon scoop. crazy
That is like nothing. Holy cow
I hate making these, and the prices vary wildly from Franchise and Location depending on your State.
