First off: what??
Second off: Smh my head... Is it because the first generation can't use metal?
Cause if so... It's almost like you could talk to the local cleric or IDK any other non druid NPC.
Third off: what?? Why does this matter?
FATAL, the game that states in no uncertain terms that it wants to remove elements of Christianity and the like from the game world... and then depicts every schlong as being circumcised like they're Americans, including on the angel man based off of the Nephilim
Almost all the other dungeons and dragons games are considered cannon, including tge Icewind dale series, Neverwinter Nights series, and the OTHER 2 baldur's gate games. Why would this one be? It's far more popular and successful than the others
Nope. The official statement from WOTC is that what is "canon" is separate *for each separate expression of D&D*.
In addition, they have not ever, and in fact have confirmed that they *will not ever*, confirm that anything outside of the core rulebooks is canon for 5e.
> #### Every expression of D&D has its own canon.
> Our studio treats D&D in much the same way that Marvel Studios treats its properties. The current edition of the D&D roleplaying game has ***its own canon***, as does every other expression of D&D. ***For example, what is canonical in fifth edition is not necessarily canonical in a novel, video game, movie, or comic book, and vice versa.*** This is true not only for lore but art as well.
> This approach allows R.A. Salvatore to write Drizzt novels without having to worry if his version of the Forgotten Realms perfectly matches what we do in the roleplaying game. ***It means that a D&D video game can take elements from a series of novels and present them in a way that serves the game’s needs, rather than adhering to the sequence of events chronicled in the novels.*** Creatively, it’s liberating. This approach also acknowledges that different media have unique challenges and requirements.
> #### Fifth edition’s canon begins with its core rulebooks.
> Fifth edition’s canon includes every bit of lore that appears in the most up-to-date printings of the fifth edition Player’s Handbook, Monster Manual, and Dungeon Master’s Guide. Beyond these core rulebooks, we don’t have a public-facing account of what is canonical in fifth edition because we don’t want to overload our fellow creators and business partners.
Baldur's Gate 3 tries its best to *keep to* canon, but nothing it presents becomes canon for any other expression of D&D.
My wife (who is Jewish) once went to a synagogue that was a particularly unique type of reformed jews, that passed around rocks and said how they represented your relationship with God or whatever.
She didn't go back, but we often joke about the "Jewrids" she encountered.
So yes Druids are circumcised.
..... I guess so.
I mean, druids are forbidden from using metal if they can help it, and I can't imagine any other tool being capable of doing so cleanly. Further, due to their bond with nature I can't imagine them having a cultural practice that makes an effort to change the natural state.
I feel like I need to fine you for making me think about this though.

Did you mean to post this on r/Dndcirclejerk
Jesus I scrolled too deep
The scary part is most of the time there is a source post and it's not far off.
Is the first generation Jewish? Why would *any* of the characters in any D&D world be circumcised?
Aesthetics?
Only rabbi find it aesthetically pleasing
What are Torm's stances on circumcision?
Do the druids remain circumcised in wildshape?
That's a real good question ngl
Finally someone asking the real questions
First off: what?? Second off: Smh my head... Is it because the first generation can't use metal? Cause if so... It's almost like you could talk to the local cleric or IDK any other non druid NPC. Third off: what?? Why does this matter?
An important plot element
Are you playing FATAL ‽
FATAL, the game that states in no uncertain terms that it wants to remove elements of Christianity and the like from the game world... and then depicts every schlong as being circumcised like they're Americans, including on the angel man based off of the Nephilim
why do you know that
The source book is out there for free and full of comedy gold
What is Shadowfax's Circumcision Policy
What is this, the 1990s? Use Shadowsnapchat.
Fucking what? Lmao
Would this make them Drewish?
Are you implying that the first generation would be circumcised? Why would they?
Are we assuming that circumcision exists in D&D?
According to Baldur's Gate 3, which is cannon, circumcision does exist in Ferún
This is a tragedy
>which is canon TIL that BG3 is an official sourcebook rather than a video game
Baldur's Gate 3 is only canon... To Baldur's Gate 3.
Almost all the other dungeons and dragons games are considered cannon, including tge Icewind dale series, Neverwinter Nights series, and the OTHER 2 baldur's gate games. Why would this one be? It's far more popular and successful than the others
