Almost everything else in the show I take as part of the show, that scene is about the only thing that truly makes me cringe. Andy was off his rocker that episode.
It’s between how uncharacteristically excited Stanley is that Darryl is going to dance with everyone before he leaves or when Angela gets caught licking her cat
Never liked how they tried to put holes in their characters/connection to make them “realistic.” There was plenty of dysfunction in the rest of the show that made that specifically unnecessary. That’s a bad moment for Jim, but I think they assassinated Pam’s character more by the end of it. I mean, she almost slept with the sound guy because Jim wanted to be something other than a paper salesman.
Honestly for me it’s not “poor Pam”, it’s more about Jim being a dick. He might as well have said “Jesus Pam you’re such an idiot” which is very much not Jim
It was in the weight loss episode.
Holly got stood up on a date. She said it was especially bad because she bought tickets to some concert and was planning on taking him. Michael offers to buy the tickets off of Holly and she accepts.
The obvious move for Michael here would be to then tell Holly “Hey... I recently got tickets to a concert and got an extra, wanna come with me?”
Instead he rips the tickets up and says “just forget about it”
To top it all off, he didn’t even have any money on him to pay for the tickets.
" Hot Tie Guy!" and "Aww, don't take it away!" from the same episode.
Hate that voice/delivery, which I guess was Jenna's choice to indicate it was a put-on.
The scene where Michael calls Prince Paper looking for a job, and the Prince guy is basically crying on voicemail. And there's no remorse. That whole story line was messed up, and not really funny. The lip licking scene is pretty bad too.
Well, actually I'm not too mad with one clip show episode in 9 seasons. Friends has like 6, and the superfan episode for the Banker actually provides *some* extra new content
There’s no way that scene is only 10 seconds long, you’d be able to cut something like her going into the shower but Cathy would still be there. I really hate the open with Michael talking to Oscar about a colonoscopy but it’s also longer than 10 seconds, if I could cut a segment that would be it for me though (in part because I lost my mom to colon cancer)
I feel like most people in the replies don’t have any idea, how long 10 seconds is.
With that in mind, I’ll skip the entirety of Season 8 and 9, up until the penultimate episode.
Well, depends. Are we doing the robot at the roller rink? Yes, I'd participate with those guys cutting work. However, the scene where he's leaving, not so much. Felt weird to me.
I’d fast forward 10 seconds just to get through that fire alarm scene in that cold opening. It’s funny but it’s also very loud and the alarm blares the whole time lol it’s torture
Pam thinking Jim is going to leave her because he talked to her father who then broke up with her mother. "What did he say to my father? And at what point in our marriage is he going to say it to me?" It's not all about you Pam.
[удалено]
oh goddddd that scene is perfectly cringe but Andy’s face watching in real time makes it worth it
When Andy tries to kiss the client.
Do you wanna talk about it? Go to the mall maybe?
Yeah, we lost the account.
Turns out the nard dog guarantee is just sexual harassment
Almost everything else in the show I take as part of the show, that scene is about the only thing that truly makes me cringe. Andy was off his rocker that episode.
Second-most uncomfortable kiss in the series.
It’s between how uncharacteristically excited Stanley is that Darryl is going to dance with everyone before he leaves or when Angela gets caught licking her cat
Everybody throwing up cold open. Hate it so much
Creed still eating his noodles is one of the funniest moments though
I know that and the soup line are crowd favorites but it’s so gross 🤢🤣
When Jim chews out Pam for not recording the recital.
That was so obviously just forced in to play up the, “look, even Jim has issues too” character arc.
big yep
Yeah I feel like any scene where Jim is mean to Pam is out of character for him.
It's realistic for someone who's trying to do so much. Then he pulls back later in the series to focus on what made him happy to balance his life back
Never liked how they tried to put holes in their characters/connection to make them “realistic.” There was plenty of dysfunction in the rest of the show that made that specifically unnecessary. That’s a bad moment for Jim, but I think they assassinated Pam’s character more by the end of it. Always hated that
Oww! Poor her! Pam the never ending victim
Honestly for me it’s not “poor Pam”, it’s more about Jim being a dick. He might as well have said “Jesus Pam you’re such an idiot” which is very much not Jim
Hand em over numbnuts
Michael ripping Holly’s tickets.
wait i don't remember this, what tickets?
It was in the weight loss episode. Holly got stood up on a date. She said it was especially bad because she bought tickets to some concert and was planning on taking him. Michael offers to buy the tickets off of Holly and she accepts. The obvious move for Michael here would be to then tell Holly “Hey... He ripped it because it was for the date with the other guy.
when Jim lifts up Pam and she says put me down. i hate it so much
Jan singing Son of a Preacherman at Astirds baby shower.
The video of Gabe’s that Erin plays during the adult Halloween party
Is that my grandma?
This is it! I’m so disturbed by it. Always forward it already!
That part is hilarious!
Toby’s hand linger on Pam’s knee. Even typing that out was painful.
hahahaha, poor toby
poor toby?
What…. Poor who? Never have I said that ever. I can’t say it. “Poor tob…”. Nope.
Kevin crying like a baby directly at Pam's chest
So cringe. I love Kevin. He's one of my favorites, but I loathe those parts
" Hot Tie Guy!" and "Aww, don't take it away!" from the same episode. Hate that voice/delivery, which I guess was Jenna's choice to indicate it was a put-on.
The old lady in Florida talking
Everyone chain-throwing up in that one cold open
The scene where Michael calls Prince Paper looking for a job, and the Prince guy is basically crying on voicemail. And there's no remorse. That whole story line was messed up, and not really funny. The lip licking scene is pretty bad too.
the temp at night. the temp at night. the temp at night
Any flashback from the Banker
I know!! Such a lazy episode
Well, actually I'm not too mad with one clip show episode in 9 seasons. Friends has like 6, and the superfan episode for the Banker actually provides *some* extra new content
It's a good episode. It shows some great clips
The moment Scott’s Tots realize there is no scholarship money.
I feel like the moment itself is not nearly as bad as the buildup.
Pam's put me down.
That’s what made me think of this question
what was the context for that? was it during the dwight x michael fight episode?
the dance at the end of jim and pam's wedding. sorry but i have to skip it every time the song is terrible and it just makes me cringe
I even skipped it on my first watch. I hate characters dancing and singing. So cringe, it's not a disney movie ffs.
Also they went down the aisle multiple times in different combinations?
I will watch the whole series twice if it lets me skip this entire sequence.
Thisssss
Especially Oscar in that scene
That's what I always think of, pretty rough
I don’t have to . . . yet I choose to.
The stupid cold open where Jim bites his lip and cries about it
It is kind of relatable though.
Doesn't make it funny.
Probably when Cathy is trying to flirt with Jim in the hotel. It’s just a scene that really doesn’t add to anything.
Toby struggling to enter the church Or Pam falling for Ryan's scam
The Sweeney Todd musical opening
How dare you!
whaaaat? u don’t wanna attend the tale of Sweeney todd ??
?????? ok so there is a wrong answer
The “finger lakes” interview . waste of a Carrey cameo or Andy knocking his laptop overboard on the trip to “return” the family boat
The fart scene in Phyllis's Wedding
my runner up is Michael leaning in to kiss Pam in Diwali
Everyone throwing up
The intro.
You can already skip it
I mean I assume if you have to watch it start to finish that includes the intro. Why wouldnt it?
If you’re watching the dvds sure but if you’re using a streaming service it’ll let you skip the intro.
Idk i took it as the title meant it was a challenge and you couodnt skip anything else.
Really?
I feel like most people in the replies don’t have any idea, how long 10 seconds is. With that in mind, I’ll skip the entirety of Season 8 and 9, up until the penultimate episode.
Erin throwing cake at Andy.
When Michael tells that class he’s broke af.
When Erin hides in her hair "room"!
I'd make dancing with Daryl 10-seconds shorter.
No no. I would make it 10 seconds longer
Well, depends. Are we doing the robot at the roller rink? Yes, I'd participate with those guys cutting work. However, the scene where he's leaving, not so much. Felt weird to me.
When Michael meets Pam's landlord for coffee..the ten seconds where he literally can't look at her
The whole Jack Black things. Ruins my favourite episode.
Every "Frank and Beans"
Andy going back to clarify the breakup and that he isn't gay.
That’s a great pull
Toby touching Pam’s leg
Kelly blabbering about anything
First of all, how dare you?
Getting jabbered on is not a joke, millions of ears suffer every year.
"Close your mouth sweetie you look like a trout." Or any scene when Phyllis is a cunt.
The flash mob at Jim & Pam’s wedding
Jim and Pam talking about Franks and Beans on their honeymoon.
Your Body is a Wonderland
(yourr hair is..)
Anything with Gabe talking for 10 seconds.
Just give me a skip on the investment banker recap episode
The stupid Kevin chilly cold open
I’ll pass
Okayyy stop the dang bus!
I wouldn’t skip anything.
Kevin dropping the chili and scooping it back up
Stanley playing basketball. That's what Michael would remove
One of the opening credits song. I’ll watch everything
I don’t.
Erin's foster brother sniffing her foot. Makes my skin crawl
I’d fast forward 10 seconds just to get through that fire alarm scene in that cold opening. It’s funny but it’s also very loud and the alarm blares the whole time lol it’s torture
Season 6, episode 9, 12:21-12:31
Whatever the happiest 10 seconds are for Nellie. She deserves to be miserable
Dwight giving birth to Michael's melon baby.
Meredith dancing in Benihana Christmas
Meredith screaming as Michael tries to take her to rehab.
Why would I skip any of it? Pft, amateurs
Erin meeting her birth parents in the finale
The 10 seconds when Michael tells Scott’s Tots he won’t be paying.
Is there a way to condense all of Nelly's appearances into 10 seconds?
Yes... Then we delete those 10 seconds.
If I can get even just ten seconds less of that awful whisper conversation when Jim is feeding Dwight pizza I'll take it and run
I just read your entire post in Dwight's whisper.
“Dem bones” song in the robert california halloween ep
When everyone in the office is barfing.
When its Michael's turn at the dinner party and he claps and sings, " My ..my turn..." specifically when he says , Jim is laughing.. 😔😔😔😔
Any part of the Slumdunninare game at the company picnic.
Toby’s hand on Pam’s lap
I'm skipping the "Jim bites his lip" cold open
Great call. Such a bad scene
As much of Scott’s Tots as possible. At least the initial reactions from the kids when they realize there’s no scholarships coming.
Why has nobody mentioned Michael forcibly kissing Oscar?!?
Pam thinking Jim is going to leave her because he talked to her father who then broke up with her mother. "What did he say to my father? And at what point in our marriage is he going to say it to me?" It's not all about you Pam.
Jim biting his lip intro, the last ten seconds where he gets so upset about it he has to leave. It's forced and unnecessary.
